Square Enix has announced new Grandia III details involving a character named Hect, who will aid the game's hero, Yuuki, on his quest. She is from a different world, which lost its alluring beauty to complete crystallization, and can use a violin to sever the ties between her world and Yuuki's.

Grandia III is due for an August 4th Japanese release date, and will retail for 7,980 yen ($71.13 USD). There is no North American release date currently scheduled.
