Go Back in History with Saiyuki

    KOEI has announced Saiyuki, a new Historical RPG that will be based on ancient Chinese folklore. The story of Saiyuki follows the story of Sanzo-hoshi, a priest who received a mission from the Goddess of Mercy to head to Tenjiku (India).

Through her adventures she'll team up with some weird characters including a monkey-like character, Songoku, a pig-like guy named Cho-Hakkai and Sagojo, a traveler.

    Saiyuki is slated for release in Japan during fall 1999.
