Today at a press conference in Tokyo, the president of Enix, Yasyhiro Fukushima, spoke of the company's future plans.
Enix plans to have its best year ever with the release of the first Dragon Quest game in over three years. Dragon Quest VII is expected to sell over four million copies. Mr. Fukushima claimed those numbers would rise as the date grew closer.
Mr. Fukushima also spoke of Enix's plans for the PlayStation 2. Enix is currently developing six different titles for the PSX2. While the first one is more than likely an RPG, a Dragon Quest title would be very unlikely, given the closeness to Dragon Quest VII's release.
