In a previous news story, we announced that Atlus has signed an agreement for Kartia : The Word of Fate to be released for rental at Blockbuster stores across the continent two weeks prior to arriving in retail stores. Today, the Blockbuster Video chain received the title, and the game should now be available for eager strategy-deprived fans to try out.

   While speaking with Atlus about the deal, RPGamer learned that the purpose behind the agreement is to gain more anticipation and higher sales for Kartia than previous titles have earned. From our experiences with Kartia so far, the game appears solid and quite enjoyable. Look for a full, comprehensive review when the game hits retailers on August 18th.
