Capcom revealed that Monster Hunter XX will be coming to Nintendo Switch. Originally released on Nintendo 3DS in Japan in March 2017, the Switch version of the game will be available in the country on August 25, 2017. There is currently no news on a western release for either version.

Monster Hunter XX is an enhanced version of Monster Hunter X (Monster Hunter Generations in North America and Europe), adding new attack styles, techniques, and monsters. Capcom also revealed that players will be able to trasnfer save files between the 3DS and Switch versions of Monster Hunter XX. It will also be possible to transfer a same file from the Monster Hunter X on 3DS to Monster Hunter XX on Switch, but not the other way.
