NIS America announced that it will be releasing The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II in Europe. The game will be released physically and digitally for both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in the region sometime during the fall of 2016. The game's North American version is being published by XSEED Games.

Trails of Cold Steel II is a direct sequel to The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel, which was released in December 2015 in North America and January 2016 in Europe. A third game in the sub-series, which takes place a couple of years after the Trails in the Sky trilogy in the neighbouring nation of Erebonia, is currently in development in Japan.
