A date has now given for the global PC release of Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim. The title is being releasedd by publisher XSEED Games via Steam, the Humble Store, and gog.com on April 28, 2015. The game will be priced at $19.99/€17.99/£13.99, with a 15% discount applied during the first week of release.
Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim was originally released by Nihom Falcom on PC in Japan in 2003, before Konami ported the game to PlayStation 2 in 2005 and PlaySation Portable in 2006, releasing those versions worldwide. XSEED Games' upcoming release features a new translation, enhanced graphics, and controller support, as well as the ability to warp between checkpoints and a new "Catastrophe Mode", where healing items cannot be stored and are automatically used when found.
