GungHo Online Entertainment America, the publisher most known for Ragnarok Online, is bringing over several titles from the back catalog of GungHo Japan and putting them up as PSOne Classics on PSN. However, these titles are in an untranslated form identical to the Japanese release, and many are quite text heavy. They span a wide range of genres, including dating sims, mech combat games, and a surprisingly large number of mahjong games, but a few are RPGs.

The two titles of greatest interest to readers of this site are Favorite Dear ~Enkan no Monogatari~ and its sequel, Favorite Dear ~Jyunpaku no Yogensha~. These titles combine elements of both traditional RPGs and dating sims, as the player must work to gain the support of warriors by taking them out on dates. To both explain how this concept works and to give those who can't understand Japanese a bit of help in getting started, GungHo has put up a helpful video on Facebook. These two titles are already available, and cost $5.99 each.
