Developer Imageepoch has recently been sharing tons of new details revolving around its new PlayStation Portable title 7th Dragon 2020. 7th Dragon 2020 takes place in a future Tokyo where dragons have invaded from outer space, leaving their mark, a mysterious flower. Tokyo slowly transforms into a multi-dungeon area littered with beasts.

In the screenshots posted above, Shibuya's transformation into a dungeon can be seen. Imageepoch states that Shibuya is the first of many locales within Tokyo that will revert into a dungeon-like state. The characters of 7th Dragon 2020 are a part of a resistance group called Murakumo, who are able to move freely within the Tokyo dungeons. Players can create their own parties, as well as customize their appearance, jobs and skills. Battles within 7th Dragon 2020 are first-person, though not much has been detailed about them at this point. 7th Dragon 2020 is set to release later in Japan this year.
