Two launch trailers for The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings have been posted by Good Old Games, developer CD Projekt's digital distribution service. Named "Hope" and "Disdain and Fear," respectively, the trailers provide an evocative introduction to some of the themes in the game.
The Witcher 2 launches internationally tomorrow, May 17. Customers who have pre-ordered the game from certain digital distributors can pre-download it now, so interested gamers should check the relevant site. The game will be unlocked for play at 7:00am GMT, which is 2:00am Eastern and midnight Pacific time.
As usual, we present the disclaimer that this game is rated for adults only by every ratings board known to humanity. Although there is no explicit content in these trailers, they may not strictly be a good idea to play at work or if you are too young to play the game.
