Mega Man Legends 3

Mega Man Legends 3 is still a long way from hitting store shelves, but that doesn't mean people have to wait long to play it for themselves. Capcom will be releasing Mega Man Legends 3: Prototype Version, a demo of the game based on its current early stage of development, on the Nintendo 3DS eShop as soon as that service becomes available. This demo is part of Capcom's ongoing efforts to get fans involved in the development of Mega Man Legends 3, so anyone with an opinion of the demo should go to the Capcom-Unity dev room site. It should also be mentioned that this demo will cost ¥200 to download in Japan, and while it has not yet been confirmed, it may cost a similar price (around $2) in other regions.

The Prototype Version demo will feature Barret, a "reckless leader of a sky biker gang" and a new character to the series. This will be the first time players will get to control someone other than Mega Man Volnutt in the Legends series, and the new sky biker differentiates himself from the series' star with a unique close-combat fighting style. The demo will also feature a few missions, a look at unfinished areas of the game, and a debug mode that can be used to try out additional special moves and abilities.
