If you've had your fill of Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords, developer Infinite Interactive has another trick up its metaphorical sleeve. The company's follow-up project, titled Galactrix, is currently in development for multiple platforms.

Galactrix will draw upon many of the elements found in its predecessor, including equipment, skills, and companions, placing them all within a match-3 puzzle battle system. Where Galactrix differs from Puzzle Quest, however, is in setting. The game takes place in a futuristic science-fiction universe.

Infinite Interactive has indicated that Galactrix is currently in development for the PC, and will be ported to Xbox Live Arcade, PSP, and DS. Online support in the form of multiplayer matches and downloadable content has been announced, but as of yet no details have emerged.
