Square Enix recently updated the official site for its upcoming PlayStation 2 title Grandia III. The company added two new background music samples to the site along with a profile for the game's fifth character.

The new character is Alonso, an adventuresome 28-year-old sailor. On land, he is a gambling, drinking, womanizing loser. On the open sea, he becomes competent and trustworthy. His weapon of choice is a harpoon.

Grandia III is scheduled to be released in Japan on August 4. A North American release date has not been announced. RPGamer would like to thank Chris Garcia for the heads-up about the official site update.
