Atlus to Expose North America to Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne

Atlus announced today that Shin Megami Tensei series will finally make its way to North America. Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne, the third game in the series itself, features a post-apocalyptic setting in which you are pit against various demonic forces which contend for the privilege and power to reshape the world as they will. Throughout the game, you are given the freedom to act upon several ideologies and change the world's course in the process. You may become enemies of many demons, but you may also become allies with at least 100 such entities. In addition, expect a guest appearance by Dante of Devil May Cry fame. Your relationship with him will also depend on your alignment, so don't expect a mere cameo.

Atlus is aiming to release this product fully localized in the fall of 2004 for Playstation 2. The forecasted retail price is $49.99, and no ratings have been assigned yet. We will keep you posted on any new developments on this groundbreaking project.
