Hot on the heels of Dark Ages of Camelot: Shrouded Isles, a new expansion back has been announced for Mythic's MMORPG. The newest expansion will be titled Trials of Atlantis and is being geared as an "expert" addendum to the game.

Trials of Atlantis will take players to the legendary city of the same name and expose them to various difficult challenges. The prize of completion has been revealed to be the coveted "master level." Additionally, Mythic announced a new race for each realm, with individual characters sporting increased physical customization. It has also been mentioned that the graphics engine will be undergoing a few tweaks to increase the visual splendor of the virtual world.

It seems as though Dark Ages of Camelot: Trials of Atlantis will be following its predecessor's winning formula by providing more quests, weapons and monsters. The expansion is scheduled for release sometime before the end of the year.
