Square sets Final Fantasy VIII Date

Square has set a date of September 7, 1999 as the release date for Final Fantasy VIII. This date will place the game in direct competition with Sega's Dreamcast, which is scheduled to debut September 9th. As of yet, no date has been announced for the PC version of the game.
