Sony of Japan has finally confirmed that Wild Arms 2 titled as, "Wild Arms 2nd Ignition" is in development. A major improvement over Wild Arms will be a superior 3D environment, in and out of battle scenes. Also revealed is that characters will be real sized, where as in the first installment they were midget sized. Wild Arms 2nd Ignition will feature 3 main characters and will encompass 2 CD's.

   Wild Arms 2nd Ignition will be available in Japan around Fall '99. While a US version hasn't been confirmed it is highly likely that Sony will be translating it for US release after the Japanese release.
