Atlus USA announced that Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux, the enhanced Nintendo 3DS port of Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey, will be released in North America and Europe on May 18, 2018. The game will be available both physically and digitally in both regions, with Deep Silver publishing the European release.

Strange Journey follows a United Nations investigation team sent into a spacial distortion at Antarctica called the Schwarzwelt, which is infested with supernatural demons. The Redux version adds new story content involving a new character named Alex in addition to new demons, a new dungeon, updated visuals, and UI tweaks.
