Nintendo released a new trailer for the upcoming Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. This short video focuses on the character from the Kingdom of Zophia, one of the two warring nations in the game, in addition to showing a couple of brief gameplay clips.

Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia is effectively a remake of the 1992 Japan-only Famicom title Fire Emblem Gaiden, the second game in the series, which featured unique aspects for the series such as exploration, visitable towns, and dungeons that will all be included in Echoes. The game follows two main protagonists, Alm, a fighter, and Celica, a priestess, as conflict looms. Fire Emblem Echoes is planned for release in North America and Europe for Nintendo 3DS on May 19, 2017.
