Square Enix has finally released Final Fantasy IX on Android and iOS devices, ahead of its planned Steam release. This marks the first time the title has been released on mobile platforms.

Final Fantasy IX is priced at $20.99, but is available for a limited time — until February 21, 2016 — for $16.99. The game takes up 4GB of memory and will require 8GB free to download. Included with the game are seven boosters, which have various effects on the game such as increased game speed or turning off random encounters. A Steam version of the game is still planned for early 2016 with no confirmation on pricing.
