Xenoblade Chronicles X is due to be released exclusively for Wii U in Japan on April 29, 2015, with North American and European releases currently set for later in 2015. The game is a follow-up, although not directly connected story-wise, to the Wii's Xenoblade Chronicles, which is receiving a New 3DS port worldwide in April. Nintendo recently provided a special 25-minute presentation showcasing a number of aspects of Xenoblade Chronicles X's gameplay.
