Bethesda has made some big announcement regarding The Elder Scrolls Online. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners finally have a date to enter the online version of the Elder Scrolls universe — being re-released as The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited — and that date is June 9, 2015.
That's not the only change making its way to the game, as Bethesda has also announced that the game will be dropping its subscription-based model. Starting on March 17, 2015 The Elders Scrolls will be buy-to-play. The game will instead have microtransactions for convenience and cosmetic items, as well as a premium subscription option which will give players in-game benefits. As a celebration for these announcements, Bethesda has released the last in its running series of CG trailers.
