While Sega has never given an official release date for Phantasy Star Online 2 in North America, it was planned for an early 2013 release. The title was released in Japan for Windows PCs in July 2012, and for the PlayStation Vita in February 2013.

Sega revealed that the title will not be releasing this spring, and instead no new date has been provided. The company also said that it will provide further details as soon as they become available.
