Publisher Deep Silver has recently announced downloadable content by name of Treasure Isle for its upcoming release of Risen 2: Dark Waters. Treasure Isle will be an exclusive pre-order bonus for players who have pre-ordered the game.

Treasure Isle centers around a quest to search for the legendary treasure of the pirate Captain Steelbeard. Harlock, one of the cooks of Steelbeard's ship the Elenor, stole the secret to the whereabouts of the treasure's location, and he enlists the player to search for it. The DLC's storyline will tie into the original Risen and "bring it to an exciting conclusion," according to the press release.

Deep Silver stated that the pre-order DLC "will be made available in selected territories at participating retailers." The specific retailers were not named. Risen 2: Dark Waters will be released on April 24 in North America and on April 27 in Europe for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
