Larian Studios has announced that Divinity II: Ego Draconis will receive an expansion titled Divinity II: Flames of Vengeance. The expansion will begin where Ego Draconis left off, allowing players to complete the story of the Dragon Knight and fully explore the city of Aleroth.

The developers promise that Flames of Vengeance will answer many questions about the world of Rivellon, the game's setting. It will also allow the player to settle the score with some enemies from the main game. The game's engine has been overhauled for the expansion, improving performance and graphic quality.

Flames of Vengeance contains over thirty quests and about fifteen hours of gameplay. It will be available for PC and Xbox 360 in August, 2010.
