Originally, sources listed a "new" Shining Force game to come forth, with screenshots and certain gameplay descriptions that matched Shining Soul 2. Now it has been discovered that Shining Force: Resurrection of the Dark Dragon is not Shining Soul 2, but a remake from the Shining past. The game will be a remake of the original Shining Force, with a few additions.
One such tweak will be to the battles, as they now feature a card-collecting system. Three new characters are also said to be appearing, giving even the most seasoned veterans a reason to take interst in the game. Presently, the game is only scheduled to arrive in Europe, but RPGamer will report other localizations as they are announced.
