Gamefront is reporting that in a discussion with the Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shimbun, Yasumi Matsuno has revealed that Final Fantasy Tactics Advance will indeed be coming to North America. Yasumi Matsuno is the current director of Final Fantasy Tactics Advance and has been the director of such other famous projects as Final Fantasy Tactics and Vagrant Story. In addition to confirmation of the release, he also revealed that progress is already underway and Square is currently busy with localization of the game play.

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance was released for the Game Boy Advance in Japan during February of 2003 and has sold quite well by itself and in a special combination package with the Game Boy Advance SP. No definitive date has yet to be announced for the North American release.
