Interplay and Vivendi Universal recently announced that they will be bringing a new installment of the Fallout series to the PlayStation 2 and the Xbox. Entitled Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel, the story of this upcoming title will take place just after humans have emerged from their shelters into a post-nuclear nightmare where radioactive mutants have sway. Peace will be elusive, but humans must nevertheless seek it.
Three playable characters will be available, but only two can be played at a time via multiplayer support. Players may also go it alone, if they dare. The game also boasts of a variety of weapons available for obliterating mutants, along with an automatic targeting system to make it a bit easier, especially when it gets a little too crowded.
Both the PlayStation 2 and the Xbox versions will be released in the fourth quarter of this year.
