Enix Snubs Two Prominent Consoles

Enix revealed in a recent issue of the Japanese magazine Quiter that it will not develop any games in the future for Xbox or GameCube. Currently, Enix's planned games are for the PlayStation 2 and Game Boy Advance, with most of those titles set for the PS2.

There was no word regarding the effect of the Square-Enix merger on these console-specific development plans. The two video game giants are set to merge on April 1.
