3DO announced today that New World Computing's Might and Magic IX for the PC has shipped to retailers. The game should reach stores throughout North America tomorrow and will be available for a suggested price of $39.99 USD.

Might and Magic IX is the latest in one of the longest-running RPG series that began in 1984. This time around, players will shipwreck on the Isle of Ashes where a brand-new world of adventure awaits them.
