According to Nintendo of Australia, a Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance port for the GameCube is on its way. No details regarding release dates or publishers were mentioned. The title follows on the heels of several other recently announced ports of the game, including an Xbox and Game Boy Advance release.

Originating on the PC, Black Isle's Baldur's Gate series immerses players in the D&D-based world The Forgotten Realms. The PS2 version of the game has been out since last year and has enjoyed success as one of the more popular RPGs on the system. At this time, it is unknown if the title will be released outside of Australia or when it will become available.
