Infogrames and Bioware Reveal Composer For Neverwinter Nights

Infogrames and BioWare have secured the services of award-winning composer Jeremy Soule for the soundtrack of their upcoming Neverwinter Nights. Soule is best known for his work on the soundtracks for Total Annihilation, Icewind Dale, and Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone. In addition to these existing credentials, Soule's work will also be featured in the upcoming Morrowind.

"It has been a great experience all around working with the brilliant developers at BioWare on this revolutionary RPG," commented Soule. "Composing for the epic-adventure realm is something I've always enjoyed, and Neverwinter Nights, with its advanced game playing features, has given me the opportunity to incorporate some exciting musical touches, such as giving each environment a tuneful persona that the player can manipulate."

With customizable adventures and players, Neverwinter Nights is one of the more innovative RPGs on the horizon for the PC. The game, based on classic D&D rules, will not only feature a complete single-player campaign, it will also support servers with up to 64 players able to take part in fully customizable adventures. BioWare and Interplay have indicated a summer release is likely for the title.
