Further clarification has arrived from Enix regarding the release date of Star Ocean 3: Till the End of Time in Japan. The first title in the series to hit the PlayStation2 will arrive on time, although barely: Enix, after originally announcing a March 2002 release, has indicated that the game will hit stores on the 31st of this month.

SO3 will feature the series' first fully 3D experience, with rotating environments and polygonal characters to match. There has been no pricing information revealed about the game, and no word on whether it will be released in North America.
