One of Sega's eagerly anticipated ports of its widely successful Dreamcast titles has been given a date. The company announced it will release GameCube and PlayStation 2 versions of Skies of Arcadia in Japan on May 10th. This comes as welcome news for owners of both consoles, since it has been four months since Sega has even mentioned the ports.

SoA will retail in Japan for a price of 5800 yen, or approximately $43.00 US. It is unclear when or if these ports will make it to North America, although Skies of Arcadia was a fairly popular title here.
