Dragon Quest Monsters 2 Delayed
Enix

Dragon Quest Monsters 2, the sequel to one of Japan's hottest Game Boy Color games, has been delayed a few weeks. The game is now scheduled for an April 12 release date in Japan, rather than the previously reported March 22 date. It is expected that both versions of the game, Iru's Journey and Ruka's Adventure, will be released on this date, rather than breaking the original plan of a simultaneous release.

This monster collecting game will allow players to collect and trade the over two hundred monsters appearing in the game, as well as "Mysterious Keys," randomly generated during the course of the game. The game is expected to meet its April 12 release date at an estimated price of 6400 yen. A North American release date or preliminary price have not been announced, but with the decent success of the first game, the second should not have a problem finding its way to North American shores.
