In a recent statement, Sony Computer Entertainment, Inc. announced an upcoming keyboard for the PlayStation2. The keyboard will be released early next year in Japan, concurrently with the launch of Sony's PlayStation2 network. The keyboard will connect to the system through the PS2's USB port. A price for the peripheral has not yet been announced, but the Japanese equivalent of approximately $30 seems likely.
