Pokémon Stadium hits North American Retailers

To the joy and excitement of Pokémon fans everywhere, Nintendo's new 3-D battle game, Pokémon Stadium, has finally been released for the Nintendo 64. In the year-and-a-half since the introduction of Pokémon Red and Blue, Pokémon has been a smash hit in every meaning of the phrase. Pokémon has been a success with audiences in every area it enters, from a television series and a feature-length movie to a popular trading card game.

Pokémon Stadium, the N64's second Pokémon game, is the ultimate Pokémon battle simulator. Gamers used to battling Pokémon on the Game Boy will now be able to use their own Pokémon from the Game Boy games in exciting 3-D battles. That's right, Pokémon Stadium comes with Nintendo's new Transfer Pak. Gamers can connect Pokémon Red, Blue, or Yellow to their N64 using the Transfer Pak, and use their own Pokémon against a friend or against the computer. Also, Pokémon players who are tired of playing their favorite game on the Game Boy's small screen can also use the Transfer Pak in conjunction with Pokemon Stadium to play the Game Boy Pokémon games on their TV.

Pokémon Stadium has a Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price of $69.95, and the included Transfer Pak is a $19.95 value. All Pokémon fans should do themselves a favor and pick up a copy today. Gotta battle 'em all!
