Fermat's Last Theorem: The main problem with the mix is its inability to stand apart from the original. I didn't perceive any instrumentation changes and the music itself was virtually unchanged. The samples utilized did improve the overall sound of the piece, particularly the pseudo-brasswind synth that carried the melody. A little shuffling of segments or the addition of a secondary theme wouldn't have hurt. All in all, it's not a bad mix. It simply pales in comparison to the other entries for this round.

Macstorm: Overall, a solid remix, but one that does not really differentiate itself from the original piece. While a great effort, it doesn't do enough new to make itself stand out. I have to give credit for using a lesser known piece, though, even if Breath of Fire 3 didn't fit the theme quite right.
