   Hello, This is a Walkthrough/FAQ for the game Valkyrie Profile by tri-Ace.

I used some Japanese Encoding, so If you want to view it you will need to get

a program like NJStar Communicator<www.njstar.com>. And finally if you have 

any questions, comments, or suggestion's then just contact me and I will get

back to you as quick as I can.

2)Walkthrough

=============



   Also this is a Walkthrough for the Hard Mode. I recommend that you play

through on Normal before this. Hard isn't that Hard but, still if it is your

first time playing through it may be tough. Hard will allow you to learn

more about the story and get new characters. 



   Another Quick note, The Order of Events for this walkthrough may be

different then the order that you find them. It all has to do with your

Seal Rating.

   As you start the game the camera will slowly travel down and you will

hear bells chiming. You will then see Valkyrie in a field, she comments

about how it certainly is Nice. You will then see leaves blowing around 

as Valkyrie walks along a beaten path while the credits go by. Eventually

she will arrive at an Ancient Castle. Now walk forward and you will see a 

woman at the enterence. When you get close enough she will speak. She will

welcome you to Valhalla. Here name is Phlia. She will say that She and her

sister Frei missed her alot. Valkyrie then says that it has been a long 

time and asks if she doing well. Phlia will answer yes, then she says that

Odin wants her inside. Valkyrie will then go inside.



   Valkyrie will say that she has arrivied and kneel. Frei will tell her

to stand up. She then warps down to Valkyrie and hugs her. Frei will talk

about how its been a while since they've seen each other and say that she

missed Valkyrie. Valkyrie says she also missed Frei. Odin then notes Rennas

Valkyrie as one of the 3 Goddess of Fate. He then continues by saying that

needs some help with the World of Destruction "Ragnarok". Valkyrie wonders

about Ragnarok. Odin then says that with the Van Race ready to make a move,

The Earth Gods are stuck in a fairly difficult situation. So he wants you

to goto the Lower World of Midguard and find Human Souls that can do fight

against them. Valkyrie says that sound like a very important job for 

herself, but she will do it. Odin then continues that once it has arrived

certain destruction is inevitable. Frei will then agree. Then a light will

emit from Valkyrie and she will then be in different clothers. After that

Frei adds that she is going too. Frei then continues saying that it should 

be a memoriable experience. After that Valkyrie and Frei warp out as the 

camera rises to the sky.



    The camera then fades in on Valkyrie and Frei on a Cliff. Valkyrie asks

if this is the world that humans inhabit. Frei answers yes, this is the

Midguard. And this is where their souls reside. Frei asks if she thinks

its nice. Valkyrie says she doesn't really have a sentimental feelings

about. It just looks like a bunch of land. Frei asks if that's so. Frei

then says that it's time for them to go. Valkyrie asks where to go now.

Frei asks Valkyrie about what she just said, and then wonders if she is 

going to have to teach her. Frei then Warps and then Valkyrie follows. They

both then reappear on the world map. Frei asks Valkyrie what can't she

hear. Valkyrie says she can't hear anything. Frei tells her that

she needs to use her power. Frei then tells her to open her eyes, 

concentrate her mind, and to empty her heart, and be very understanding.

The game will then tell you to press Start to listen to the Spirits, so

press Start. The world will then rotate around Valkyrie and she will hear

many different things and eventually tell you to goto Altoria. Valkyrie

is speechless after that. Frei asks if she heard that. Valkyrie will ask

what that was. Frei then tells Valkyrie that is her power. With it she

can listen to Humans Pain, Anger, and Wishes. And with that she can have

a good sense of the Soul. Frei continues by saying that Valkyrie must

get the Souls of dead human fighters. But Valkyrie is wondering how she is

going to choose who to take. Frei says that is a problem, so... Valkyrie

then inquires about the so. But Frei just says that they should start 

moving, then says that they will need to have hearts that understand 

humans. The both then warp out as the screen darkens. Then a message will

come up on the screen says "Heart of a Human...Do I even have a Heart?".

Aluze

-----



   The screen will the come back up and you will see a brown haired Knight

kill a gorilla with an Ax. Then more soilders will run by and a man with a

giant sword will walk onto the screen. Rofar will then tell Aluze to please

hurry up. The camera will then move to the right and you will see two

soldiers down and four more soldiers facing off against a flying creature.

Soldier A will say this is frightening. Aluze then walks on the screen and

Soldier B notices. Aluze will say it is just a bother. Now move Aluze to 

the flying creature and just as you get there Rofar will walk up. Rofar will

say he is in this too. You will then enter battle. It is just a Lesser 

Harpy, and this will probably be the first time you mess with the battle

system. Also the Lesser Harpy has Combo Guard, so your first few attacks 

probably won't do anything, but all it takes is 3 rounds. The screen will 

then switch to a new location.



   You will see a simple house and a man paint. Aluze then walks in.

Roy will say that his brother startled him. Roy will then ask if Aluze

got injured. Aluze will say that he is fine. Aluze then walks over to where

his brother has been painting. Aluze asks if Roy has actually done 

anything besides painting that cat. Roy will then say that painting is 

doing something. Aluze asks how much the painting is worth. Roy says it 

isn't worth anything. Aluze then says how worthless it was. Roy then 

hesitintly asks his brother to quit fighting and killing. Aluze is taken

aback by the question and says that they would have no money and no food. 

Aluze then walks off and tells him that he should get a new interest. Then

a flashback occurs. Aluze is sitting on the table and asks his brother 

what he wants to eat. Roy will say that he isn't very hungry and for him 

to go get somthing himself. Roy then continues by saying that he is going

to goto bed early so he can get up and finsh painting the cat. Then it

comes back and Roy aplogizes for asking his Brother why he fights. Aluze

then says that he will leave his gold here. Aluze then puts a Gold Statue

on the table. Roy will then ask what the statue is. Aluze says it supposed

to be lucky. He got it in battle by killing the strongest people. Aluze

then continues up to bed and the screen fades. Then you hear a clinking

noise.



   An Elderly gentleman bends over to pick up a Scepter that fell on the

ground. Ronbelt will then tell the Princess that she needs to be more

careful with her stuff, saying that he has seen this staff cause some real

trouble. The Princess then shouts out Silence. Then adding that she is 

going to go see the Wind Ghost Soldiers. Ronbelt then asks the princess

what she is doing, saying that all he wants is for her to trust him. Sherad

then thinks it over as Ronbelt hands back the scepter and leaves. Now the

screen show the King and many knights kneeling. The kings is talking about

how there are special breed of people. And about how it all comes from the

heart. The King then says it is time to bring in their strongest warrior, 

Aluze. The screen then moves to where Aluze has been. Aluze then stands up.

The King then tells him to take his Money and Statue. Aluze then walks 

forward to where the King and Sherad are. Aluze then thanks the king for

his kind words, and says he tries to keep his heart clear, but thanks

the King for everything. Aluze asks himself why he is taking this. Aluze

then thinks this has to be some kind of a fraud. Azule then starts laughing.

The crowd then quiets down. Aluze then tells the King how pathetic this

was. The King asks what he is talking about. Aluze then asks the King if

he didn't really think he would know about the statue. The King is

shocked. Then Aluze lifts his sword and Sherad tells her father to get 

down, but Aluze was aiming at the Statue. Aluze then says that he has 

no interst in that. Sherad the yells at Aluze telling him he has no right

to speak to her Father the King that way. Sherad then add that she hopes he

dies a thousand times. Aluze then starts to leave and the cowering King 

gets up. Sherad yells for someone to stop him, but no one does. 



   You now see Sherad in her room. Sherad is wondering about the Commoner

Man and about how she can get rid of him in one poof. She then comes up

with an idea. You are now back in Aluze rooms and you can control him. Head

downstairs and to the door. You will then hear a knocking. A Girl will then

come in. Aluze will ask what she needs. The Girl will ask if he is Aluze. 

He then says that he is. The Girl then introduces herself as Shera... Aluze

then wonders about the name. The Girl then says its Sara. The Girl then 

says she is name Angela. Both are puzzled. Aluze then asks what she 

came for. "Angela" says she has a job for him. Roy asks if his

brother isn't really going to take it. Aluze is really thinking. The scene

then fades to the Main Street of Altoria.



   Aluze wants to know where he is going. "Angela" doesn't really know 

where to go here. Aluze then just suggest they go in the Chinese Restaurant.

The Waitress then shows up and asks for there order. Aluze will think this

entire thing is weird. "Angela" then tells the waitress that she will have

this and this and this and this... The Waitress will say "Angela" certainly

does have a craving for food. And this and this... Aluze stands up and asks

if she is going to eat the entire restuarant. "Angela" says she certainly

couldn't eat all of the food in the restuarant. Aluze then gets frustrated

and sits back down. He then asks what the job is. "Angela" then asks if 

they can talk about it after she's finshed eating. The screen will then

go black and tell you 30 Minutes Later... "Angela" will call for the 

Cook. The Waitress will ask what she needs. "Angela" will just repeat that

she needs to see the Cook. Aluze will get frustrated and say she should

stop acting like a King. The Head Cook will then walk on screen and ask

what she wanted. "Angela" will say the food tastes like Shit and say that

the meat is still alive. The Cook will explain that is how it is supposed 

to be. "Angela" will then start to complain about the soup. The Cook will 

then again explain that is how it is supposed to be. "Angela" will then 

asks if that is a chopped up monster, saying she doesn't want to eat a baby

Kraken. The Cook will then explain that its Squid. Anyways this keeps going

on and eventually "Angela" takes a drink of water and spits it out asking

what this is. Then she asks if they are trying to poison her. "Angela" then

says that she hopes the cook dies a thousand times, then falls down 

asleep. Aluze wakes up and notes that she drank Sake. The screen then

changes to Aluze house.



   Roy is asking if his brother is going to take the job. Aluze will say 

yes. Then "Angela" will roll over and her hat will fall off. Aluze will 

then be shocked noting that its Princess Sherad. Roy will tell his brother

he is going to bed. Aluze then says he will probably end up taking the job.

Aluze then tells his brother he hopes he feels better. Sherad will then

talk in her sleep and Aluze will wonder what she is saying. Eventually 

Sherad tells her father that she will make sure Aluze dies a thousand 

times. Aluze then sits on the bed and understands. The screen then fades

to the previous day as Aluze notes the reasons why Sherad wants revenge.

"Angela" will then wake up and wonder where she is. She will then asks

Aluze if he still wants the job. Aluze says he will. Sherad will walk out

of the room and Aluze will ponder the job.



   The scene will change to that of a bar, and an Agent in a black coat

walks coat walks in. Badluck will notice this and the Agent will take a

drink and walk over to Badluck. Badluck will ask what they need to talk

about. The Agent won't say anything. Badluck asks why the Agent didn't

say anything. The Agents says they need to speak quickly and tells Badluck

about his partner. Badluck says he doesn't need a partner. Eventually 

Badluck asks for 5000 extra. The Agent says its a deal. Badluck says that

was easy and then asks about his partner. The Agent will then leave. 

Badluck will then say he doesn't care if he has a partner so long as he 

gets paid. The screen will head back to Aluze house.



   You can now freely walk around town. But all you really need to do is

just go in and out of your house. When you go back in Roy will tell you

that the woman is here. The Agent then says she needs to speak with Aluze.

Roy will ask if this is about the job and Aluze says it is. Roy then asks

if he took it. Anyways after a while you will end up outside and Badluck

will greet you. Badluck then introduces himself. The Agents says they 

should stop talking and get going. Badluck agrees. Then the screen will go

black and Aluze will explain there travels. Eventually you will see Aluze

and Badluck travling on the road. Badluck says the only reason he took this

job is for the money, also the fact that Ronbelt wanted him to take it too.

Aluze will ask if its the same Altoria Minister Ronbelt. Badluck tells

Aluze to wait, and then he notes there are soldiers approaching. Aluze then

tells about the Knights and eventually one of the Knights will tell you to

Halt. One of the Knights runs up to the cart and Badluck tells him to wait.

Aluze then tells his thoughts and then tells Badluck to run. Badluck stops

and asks what that is. You will see Sherad as Aluze explains it is Sherad.



   Now you will see Badluck and Aluze resting with Badluck explaining about

how they had to run all night. Badluck will tell about how Ronbelt betrayed

them. Aluze is about to slash at Badluck, but he tells Aluze that he was

betrayed too. Aluze will then ask about how he knew about the knights and

Ronbelt. Badluck explains that Ronbelt is actually a Valnova Spy. Aluze

can't believe it, but Badluck says its true. Ronbelt wanted to have the

Princess moved to Valnova so he could start a fight. You then hear Aluze

mull over his plan to kill Ronbelts and then you hear Sherad ask Aluze to

help her. The screen will be back to where it was before and you will hear

a man shout out. Aluze will grab his sword and Badluck will wonder what 

that was. Badluck will then walk to the next screen and ask what that thing

is. You will then see a Red Beast with Two Knight dead, with one Knight 

holding it off. That Knight will then ask for help. Aluze will ask that

Knight about Sherad. The Knight will explain that Ronbelt did somthing to

the Princess. Badluck asks if that is the Princess. Aluze will talk about

what Ronbelt has done to everyone. After that Badluck explains that is a

Ghoul Pounder. Aluze asks what a Ghoul Pounder is. Badluck explains that

it is a human changed into a monster and that only Necromancers can do it.

Aluze wonders if Ronbelt is a Necromancer. The screen will shift to the

beast and you will see 4 ghosts surround it. Aluze then thinks about

Angela. Badluck wonders why he is thinking about Sherad and then says this

is Altoria's Problem and then leaves. 



   After this Aluze explains he doesn't have the personality to run away. 

So you then see him run towards the Ghoul Pounder, but when he gets there

Valkyrie and Frei warp in. Valkyrie quickly dispatches 2 of the Ghosts. 

Aluze then tells you to leave, but then says it can't be. Valkyrie tells

the human to leave, that he can't fight and he should watch from the path.

Aluze wonders if this is the War Goddess Valkyrie. Anyways Aluze tells his

thought then and when he is done you enter battle with the Ghoul Pounder.



   The Ghoul Pounder isn't hard either. Just takes about 5/6 rounds and 

it's over. After the battle Aluze will be walking along the path and 

discussing about how he thought he was strong, but then he realized he

was just warrior in a little Kingdom. After that you see Valkyrie take

the soul from Sherad's body. Then the scene shifts back to where Aluze

is challanging Ronbelt. Ronbelt will say he underestimated Aluze and then

takes his glasses off saying it won't happen again. Ronbelt then casts a

spell which surrounds Aluze in black. You then see Sherad begging Valkyrie

to help Aluze, which she eventually agrees to do. Ronbelt then says he 

could survive the Ghoul by running, but he can't survive now. Then Voice

will say to stop hurting that man. Valkyrie then comes in and breaks the 

spell. Ronbelt can't believe that. Then he thinks she just has the ability

to break dark spells. Valkyrie then asks why he was trying to corrupt Aluze

soul. After that a battle occurs.

Boss Battle

Name:Ronbelt

Attacks:Burn Storm



Strategy:There isn't too much strategy you can do. Just attack and 

         eventually Ronbelt will go down. You shouldn't have to heal.

         Otherwise this is a standard easy first battle.



   After the battle four soldier will be trying to take down Aluze. Aluze

will ask himself why he wants to kill as he dispatches the four soldiers

with ease. Aluze then talk about how he is weak and he wants to die. 

Valkyrie then appears and say that he doesn't have all power. Aluze will

say a Death God shouldn't talk like that. Then a voice will say to the

Commoner that the War Goddess isn't a Death God, and hopes that he dies

a thousand times. Sherad then appears. Aluze says he was wrong about 

Valkyrie being a Death God. Valkyrie says she need Aluze to help stop the

Destruction. The Knight Captain comes in and asks Aluze to throw down his

sword, and Aluze does. But then Aluze takes a short sword and kills 

himself. After that Sherad/Valkyrie/Aluze all talk. And after that you are

back on the world map. 



   Valkyrie will ask Frei whats wrong. Frei will say there is nothing wrong

and say next they have to do something. Valkyrie asks about what they are

doing next. Frei says she has to train her Heros so they won't "Die Again"

on the God World. After that Frei says to use her Soul Concentration again.

This time it will tell you to goto the Altoria Mountain Ruins. Valkyrie

says she knows where to go, and Frei tells her to go there. So head to

the Orange Dot and then press the O Button.

Mount Altoria Ruins

-------------------



   Once you enter Vakyrie will jump off of the Ledge and say she feels

the enemies in here. Frei warps in and tells her she is right, there are

the Undead here. Frei then says she will give you some help here. Frei first

explains about Save Points, and that you should go. After that go save the

game and then head to the right. When you enter this screen Frei will say

this is battlefield and about how you fight enemies. Then Frei explain how

you swing your sword. Anyways first thing to do is head all the way to

the right and walk up the stairs. Then keep walking to the left and head

in the door way. When you enter this room Frei will explain that in order

open things you need to press Down and O Button. When you do that you will

find the Iron Lattice Key. Then head all the way back to the first floor

and then head the the first door you come to. If you go inside you should

find a Eye of Heaven. After you get that keep walking to the left and go

in the last door. When you enter Frei will tell you that you will need a

Key to get through the Iron Lattice. Since you already have the Key just

walk up to the door and it will open. Then Head downstairs.



   When you first enter here Frei will explain about how to climb ladders.

Anyways just jump off the ledge and you should land at a jump you can't

make. Frei will then come out and explain how you work your Crystals. After

that just create a crystal and jump on out. After you Jump out Frei will

explain that you can also temporaily freeze enemies with the Crystals too.

Now head all the way to the right and you should find a room where you find

a Plant Seed. Then start heading down but keep going to the left. Frei will

then tell you about how certain Treasure Chests are trapped. Oh, one thing,

If you can do a good combo against the Monster underneath the two treasures

you can get a Fire-Lance Book(which is a good little spell for now). 

Anyways only the left treasure is trapped, so open the right as normal(It 

The Writing of the Immortal). Now open the Left Treasure and run, that way

you avoid the damage. Then head back up and grab the treasure(it's a Plant

Seed). Now head all the way down, and the goto the right. Keep walking and

you will reach a Giant Pillar. Frei will tell you to hit the crack. So have

Valkyrie swing at the crack about two times and the pillar will fall. After

that you will get 500 points of experience. Frei will then tell you how to

work the Experience chest. Now head back to the room where the Plant Seeds

were and you will now find that you can walk all the way to the right. Now

create a crystal path so you can get that treasure chest on the right, but

watch out, its trapped. Now your probably saying how do I get that chest on

the right, I can't jump. Well you can do this two way. What you need to

do is to make "Hard Crystal" by jumping on it. Then you move these on the

platform that had the Plant Seeds to the edge. With that you should be

able to make the Jump, or you can just the Treasure Cheast(I haven't tried

this, but I think it should work). Anyways if you can successfully do it,

you can get a Treasure Search. When you have the Treasure Search Equipped,

whenever you are in a room with treasure a blue orb will circle around

you. 



   Now head all the way to the bottom of this room and then head to the

left. Then head to the left again. You will be in a very tall room and what

you need to do is get to the top. Once you get to the top you will find a 

Crystal, Baritone, Zebori and an Angel Cure. Then head all the way down 

and this time goto the right. Now you will be in a room with many spikes.

Just kill the enemy on the platfrom and then just up and get that Treasure

Chest(It's an Element Scepter). Then keep going to the right. You will

eventually enter a room that have a Nightshade and a Fire Lance, Frei will

then tell you about how magic books work. Now head back to the room that

had the treasure search. The go downstairs. 



   Now walk to the right until you can climb the stairs. The on the (I 

think it's the 3rd platform) goto the right. You will then be in a room

where you can find a Lapis Stone. The climb back up and you will reach a

save point. So Save the Game. The walk to the right again. Valkyrie then

says to Come Out. An Elder Vampire will then come out and claim Valkyrie is

a distraction. Valkyrie says she protects life, while the Vampires use 

life. The Elder Vampire thought he could talk you out of fighting, but he

guesses he is wrong. Frei than warps in and says she is leaving, but she

gives Valkyrie a weapon. Frei then tells Valkyrie that the Weapon hits 

3 times and hands over a Little Balshuu. You then get in a battle.

Strategy:When you start this battle Valkyrie will explain that Dragon 

         Servants have Combo Guard. Which will stop any combo. And the only

         way to break it is to have the whole party attack. Anyways this

         battle is pretty easy. Especially if you get a Clincher. 



   After the battle you will see two treasure chests on the ground. When

you open them you will find out they are the Houken Grim Gaudy and the

Sealed Gem. If this is your first time playing the game, then just takes

all artifacts. If you are playing to get the good ending, I would leave

the Sealed Gem. Also once you finsh this you will get 3000 bonus exp.

Anyways, Save and then head all the way back. Once you get to the first 

save point Frei warps out. Frei and Valkyrie talk and pretty much all Frei

does is remind you of the things you learned. Then the game will explain 

the Chapter/Period system. Then Frei says you need to hurry to stop 

Ragnarok. Then she leaves a Fairy with you. The Fairy just tells you about

the battle system. Anyways just jump out the way you came in, and you will

then be in Chapter 1.

Belinas

-------



   When you first enter the town you will see a Man and a Woman walking

down the street. The Woman will then walk over to the stream. Her name is

Asaka. Asaka then asks what the name of this ugly rock is. The Man(Belinas) will tell her to put that down and get going. Asaka will

will not say anything and then Belinas will come over and grab the rock. 

Asaka will then tell Belinas to give her back the rock. When Belinas 

doesn't answer Asaka says that buying and selling slaves is almost 

in-human. Belinas talks about how it can't be helped and that they will 

be better off. Asaka then just says that all she was trying to say is it 

was wrong, especially to children. Then Asaka says that she isn't going 

to go watch. Belinas then says that if Asaka has a problem with it she 

doesn't have to come, but that is what this country does. Asaka will say 

that was cruel, and then says that people only have one life to live. 

Belinas will pause a second and then ask if Asaka wants her rock back. 

She will then say yes. There will be another pause and Belinas will say 

that this rock will bring good destiny. Asaka will ask what a destiny is.

Belinas will explain that is all decsisions by the Gods. The screen will

then go black and you will be in a flash back.



   You will see Belinas with a Man and a Woman and with Asaka crying on

the floor. A Woman(Maria) will explain that they found a cute one, and they

are giving her as a gift. Belinas will then ask his father what he expects

them to do with this child. His father will tell him that he can give the

child some of the tasks that Maria does. His father then leaves. Belinas

will say to Maria how absurd this is. Maria will apoligize to the girl. 

Then Belinas will ask what the childs name is. Maria will tell him that it

is Asaka. Belinas will question the name and Maria will say yes. Belinas

will snap his fingers and Asaka will then stop crying. Belinas will then

say it is nice to see her face. After that the scene will go to the cages.

Asaka will ask if it is today and Belinas will not answer.



   Now you are back at the stream and Belinas tells Asaka to keep the rock

of destiny. Now Belinas will now talk "Destiny? With Maria dead why am I 

talking about destiny. With Father and Many of my Friends killed in Battle

why am I talking about destiny." After that he continues on about how he

doesn't believe in destiny and then talks about how he meet Asaka. Now you

are at the Cages again and Asaka will try and get Belinas attention. 

Belinas says there is no way he can do it. The scene will then shift to 

Belinas house. Belinas will be sleeping in bed when all of a sudden a Ghost 

appears. Belinas jumps out of bed as the ghost approaches him. But just

before the ghost can get to him Valkyrie warps in and takes out the Ghost.

Belinas will ask who you are, then pauses saying it can't be. Valkyrie will

then explain that the Undead Curse this house and particularly the girl. 

Belinas will then thinks about Asaka and immediatly takes off to her room.

Valkyrie then warps out. You will then see an Elder Vampire over the 

life-less body of Asaka. The Elder Vampire will say he did this all for 

Veriza. The Elder Vampire warps out just as Belinas comes in. Belinas then

yells out Asaka and walks over to her. Valkyrie then warps in. Belinas then

asks Valkyrie to please help the girl. Valkyrie will then ask if Belinas 

still doesn't believe in Destiny. Belinas will ask about this Destiny, then

wonders about how this can all be destiny. Anyways after a while Valkyrie

will explain that she can summon Asaka's soul back if Belinas gives his 

Soul. Valkyrie then explains to him that it means dying. Belinas then says

he doesn't care. Valkyrie then hops up into the air, and flaps her wings

a couple of times and Belinas falls down. Valkyrie then heads to the floor

and grabs Belinas soul. Valkyrie will then warp out. After this a strange

light will surround Asaka's body. Now you will see Valkyrie in Belinas 

room and eventually a message will come up that will tell you about 

Magic God Veriza. Anyways you will find yourself on the World Map again

and it is time to use the Soul Concentration. And this time it will tell

you to goto the Forgotten Caves.

Forgotten Caves

   These Caves only purpose is for you to gain Levels. However, I recommend

that you skip this one. The monsters inside are just too strong for you

right now. Anyways, after you have finshed that use your Soul Concentration

again and it will tell you to head to Clairmonferan.

Rourry

------



   The scene will open up with many people attending a funeral. An 

admistrator will be asking for the War Goddess to take this heroes soul. 

And that she should please come. The the camera will move up and you will

see doves flying above a massive castle. The scene will then move on and

you will see a young woman in a forest. Then a man will run up. Rourry

will apoligze to Miria and will note that she waited. Miria will say that

she did because she wanted to see you. You will then hear the leaves rustle

and Miria will comment about the music that the trees make. Miria will then

ask Rourry what he thinks about the music. Rourry will then look up to the

sky and say that it sure makes him feel better and that it reminds him of

the sound the ocean makes. Miria will then ask Rourry why he wanted to meet

her here. Rourry will asks what's wrong. Miria says that she has a feeling

Rourry is going to goto Sea or become a Soldier and fight in a War. Rourry

will ask how she knows. Miria say she just knows and that her Mother told

her to forget all about Rourry. Rourry says that it is probably the best

thing to do. Miria says he shouldn't say that. Miria then says she has a

feeling that Rourry will come back, once more. Rourry will be presently

supprised at this. Rourry then hugs Miria and tells her that he won't die.

Miria then returns the hug. The screen will then go black and a message 

will tell you that Rourry did die in battle. 



   When the scene comes back up you will see Miria in a Chair. Rourry will

be thinking about how cruel it was to say that and that he was wrong to go

off to battle. The screen will the go back to the forest and you will see

Miria talk about how she will one day speak to Rourry again. The leaves will

rustle in the forest once again. Miria will say how cruel that is and ask

the noise to stop. The trees will then rustle again. Miria will this time

beg whoever is doing this to stop. She then says she can't even look to the

sky knowing Rourry is dead. The screen will go black.



   Valkyrie will then appear on the screen. She asks Rourry if he really

wants to do this. Rourry will explain that is what he said. Valkyrie will

say that you humans think one thing and do another. Rourry will question 

this. Valkyrie talks about how even though the strong feel strong, and the 

weak feel Weak, they all in the end have the same Heart. Valkyrie then asks

if he understands and then asks him about the Woman. Valkyrie asks Rourry

if he wants to stop the never ending pain of the Woman. Rourry then says

he wouldn't know what to say. The screen the fades back into the forest.

You then see Rourry run towards Miria as she gets up and shouts out his

name. Rourry then hugs her and Miria then hugs him. Rourry then apoligizes

for not being able to see her. The screen then goes blank and Valkryie

will comment about how she is slowly turning into an Angel...



   Now use your Soul Concentration again and it will tell you to head to

the Soldi Cemetary.

Soldi Cementary

   I recommend that you take Rourry with you instead of Belinas. You will

need his Bow for the boss battle of this dungeon. Now on with the 

Walkthrough.



   When you first enter head straight to the right and fall down the

whole in the ground. You should land on a top of a pile of skulls. And 

there should be a bag near it. In that bag is the skill Attack Power. It's

really nice little skill to start pumping up right now. But Since I 

generally Belinas up after the first chapter, I tend to spend his CP on

his Hero Possibility. Anyways after this head back up the pile of skulls

to the left. In this room take out all the enemies, then you will need to

crystalize the platform to the left. This will allow you to make a running 

jump so that you can get the Short Bow. It is very important that you have

a bow for this boss battle. So once you grab that continue heading to the

left. Now first head past the ladder and go in the doorway. Now to your

left you will see a Gargoyle Statue in a Pentagram and to your right you 

will see a Stone Monument. What you need to do is slash the Gargoyle then

move the Monument to the Pentagram. When you do this you will be rewarded

with 1000 Experience. Then go outside this room and climb the ladder. After

that just keep going to the left until you reach a new room. First keep

going until you reach the ladder. Then climb it and continue to the left 

and you will find a chest that has the Avoid skill in it. Then head back

to the ladder and go through the doorway. And in this room just move the

Monument on the left into the Pentagram that is to the right and you gain

another 100 Exp. Then head out and slide underneath those rocks. Now you

will have to do the same Monument/Pentagram things and when you finsh 

continue on to your right. In this room first you should head to the bottom

platfrom and open the chest and you will find a Fire Lance spell in it, but

watch out it is traped. Now you will need to climb that stair to the top 

and push the Monument off the edge. Then just slash at the Gargoyle and you

will gain another 1000 Exp. Then just continue along the very top route and

head into the new room. In this room you can grab a Broad Sword and a Eye

of Heaven, but to get the Eye of Heaven you will need to attach a crystal

to the platform to allow you to make the jump. After that slash at the 

Gargoyle and if everything works right then the door to the left should

open. If it doesn't it means you missed a Statue. Anyways once the door

opens you will gain 5000 Exp. Then continue on the room to the right.



   Now head down to the bottom left and save. Then continue along the

bottom path and you will find a Treasure Chest, but you will need to watch

out as the Chest contains a trap. Once you open it you will get a Element

Scepter. Then go back and save again and take the high road this time. But

don't go in through the door yet. You first need to equip a bow on Valkyrie

if you haven't already and you will soon understand why. Once you have the

bow equipped on Valkyrie head through the door. When you walk in a Drow

Shaman will be there. Valkyrie will say the Shamam must be the one 

harrasing the dead. The Shaman will talk about how it is fun, etc. Valkyrie

will then get mad and you will enter a battle.

Strategy:If you do not have a bow equipped on Valkyrie(or you have Rourry)

         when you start this battle one of your characters will die. What 

         you have to do is on the first round have Valkyrie/Rourry use 

         their bow to take out one of the Shamans in the back row. If you 

         don't they will both use Fire Lance on the same character, and 

         that character will die. After both of the Shaman are gone, then 

         just use the standard battle plan and just use your Clinchers.



   After the battle is over you will find a horde of treasure for your 

taking. You will find a Book on Making Damsacus(Send up), the Crown of

Thelma(Keep), and the Grey Blue Scarf(Keep) and then a message will tell

you that you gained 10000 Exp. But, don't leave yet. There are two more

chests you can get. Use your crystal on the right wall and go up to the

top. You will then find a book for the spell Cool Dazzel(Very Nice) and

a book for the skill Magic Power(also very nice). Anyways after that is 

all done use the stairs to the left to leave.

   These are optional events you can do. You don't have to do them, but

they will generally add more to the story/make you stronger/get you a

better ending.

Dragon Slayer

   This is a very nice weapon. It will kill all Dragons in 1 hit. You

   can find it by going to Aluze's house in Altoria. Just walk up to his

   bedroom and then Aluze will come out and grab the weapon.

Graveyard Scene

---------------



   Head to the Graveyard, It is the highest dot that isn't Orange. When you

enter Valkyrie will wonder what this place is. She says she can sense a

human spirit. Valkyrie will then walk over to the left and then become 

suprised. She rushs over and you then see two ghosts by the Grave. Valkyrie

will ask what they are doing here. She slashes at them once. Valkyrie then

looks around and will talk about how the ran away. Valkryie then wonders

why the Undead would want to haunt this rock. Valkryie notices that its

a Tombstone. After that you can leave.

War Goddess Pendant

-------------------



   If you head to Clairmonferan and walk all the way to the right you will

enter a little forest. Rourry will the come out and say that you might

possibly be able to use this. He then hands you the War Goddess Pendant. It

reduces Dark Damage by 50%.

Plucked Flower

--------------



   Go to Lassen and the head to the right. You will now be in Belinas

house. Now take the route that leads to Asaka's room. When you enter it

Belinas will come out and think of Asaka. You will then get the Plucked

Flower. This reduces Poison Damage by 90%.





   After you have done those, just waste out the rest of the periods and

eventually you will be called to Valhalla.

   I will generally tend to send up Belinas now. So make Belinas have all 

of the qualities Frei wants and then transfer him up. After you have done

that, use your Soul Concentration and then head to Altoria.

Rofar

-----



   When you enter Altoria you will see Roy(Aluze's Brother), sitting in

Jail. Roy will be thinking about Aluze. The screen will then shift and you

will see Rofar asking what happened to Aluze. The Knight Captain will

explain that Aluze killed Princess Sherad, Ronbelt, and many other 

soldiers. Rofar will the get mad at his father. There will then be a flash-

back scene where you see Aluze and Rofar practicing. Aluze will then beat

Rofar and Rofar will say that he wished he could be a genius too. Aluze

will say that it's not genius, it is just a "Distinction" that Aluze and

Rofar have. Aluze then walks over and picks up the Ax. Aluze asks Rofar

to grab the Ax, and then they can practice more. The scene will the come 

back to the present. You will see Rofar walking along when he overhears a

Soldier talking about the Fighting Genius had murdered. Rofar will then

drop his head and become sad. The other soldier will ask if he might have

went berserk. There will be another flashback where you see Aluze, Rofar

and his Father standign around. Aluze will be talking about how the world

is going to hell, but about how it's slowly becoming better. The Knight 

Captian will say that he sure has an optimist point of view. The scene will

then switch to the top of a Mountain. The Wind will blow some leaves and

then Aluze will get up. Aluze will notice that Rofar likes the wind. The

wind will blow again. 



   You will now see Rofar talking to a Blue-Haired Swordsman and Woman 

Swordsman in a White Outfit. Rofar will be asking them if they think they

can help him get Roy. When neither of them say anything, Rofar will then 

say that is what he thought and start to walk away. The Woman(Selia) will

tell him to wait. Selia asks him if he is willing to die just to see this

person. Rofar will not answer. Selia will then talk about the ideals of

justice and that if he was innocent he would have been found innocent.

The Rofar will say he has to do it for this person. The Blue-Haired

Swordsman(Kashel)will ask if that is the "Distinction" that Aluze always

talked about. Rofar will then get mad at Kashel. But then Rofar talks about

how it has to be this way. Kashel will then tell him it's his own death and

he can do it however he likes. Then Kashel will tell him that he should 

want to live. Rofar the goes on about how he has to help Roy for Aluze. 

Selia will seem sad at this. Rofar then says he has to do it no matter 

what. Then a message comes up on the screen telling about how Rofar can't

run away from this.



   Rofar will now be outside the jail cell of Roy. Rofar will think about

how his father's name will be corrupted in the Law. Rofar then goes on

about how he and his father have a different sense of Justice. After this

the screen will go blank and you will be back on the world map, but now

you have Rofar in your party. Make sure that you can afford to give him a

Spinning Spear(it's a nice little weapon). 



   Anyways use your Soul Concentration. It will tell you to head to the

Lab of Sarellno.

Lab of Sarellno

---------------



   Note:I find that if Valkyrie has the Supreme Crossbow, this level is 

very easy. So you might want to think about buying it.



   Start by walking to the right. When you get to the vine, cut it and then

continue walking to the right. On the next screen you will reach a Save

Point, so Save the game. In this same room if you search the desk near the

right you will find a book. The book just talks about the experiments they

were doing. After you have done that, head back to the left and this time

head down. Now, Head right and then take the second path that leads down. 

Now cut that vine on the left and you can find a chest that contains the

skill Slanting Rain. Continue to walk all the way to the right and you

will eventually find a capsule, if you search it you will find out that

it contains a Strong Acid. Now this next section is a little complicated.

You will notice that there are big vines that you can't cut through. You

should also notice that they have flowers on them. Now in order to get 

through them you need to wear the corrisponding color of purfume. So just

take a moment and explore this area(and kill all the monsters). Once you

have done that here is a list of what you have to do:



1)Grab the Acid.

2)Go get the Red Perfume on you.

3)Go to the Red Vine in the middle(right next to the room where you can get

   Yellow Perfume)and then cut it down and use the Acid on it.

4)Go back and get more Acid.

5)Go get the Yellow Perfume on you(passing the Red Vine).

6)Take the path up. 

7)Seach the Dead Womans body and get the Blue Purfume on you.

8)Run and take the route that leads up(it is just before the Acid Room)and

   then kill the blue vine and use the Acid.

9)Run back to where the Red Vine was and go get the Yellow Purfume on you.

10)Go back to where you killed the Blue Vine and this section will be 

   finshed.



   After you have done that you have passed the worst part of this level.

Now head all the way to the left and you can find a Icicle Edge. Now

head up. Just a quick note DON'T TAKE THE SECOND ROUTE THAT LEADS DOWN! It

will take you out and you will have to do this all over again. Now head

all the way to the left and you can find a Element Scepter. Head back to

the right and take the route up. Now head to the right and you can find

the Lotus Gem. It is important that you get this. Also make sure that

you have the Red Purfume on. You can get it in the same room as the Lotus

Gem. Now head to the left. If you walk all the way to the left you pass

under a fountain that will wash your purfume away. So what you have to do

is climb the green vine that is along the wall. Take that you then you

will make it to the vine. Save the game and then head to the left. 



   You will walk in and all of a sudden a Harpy will swoop down. Valkyrie

will note that it is a Harpy and then says that she will get rid of it.

You will now enter a battle. At the start of the battle Valkyrie will

explain about how flying creatures are hard to hit with swords. So, that

is why you need skills like Throw and Wait Reaction.

Strategy:This is another battle where Valkyrie is better off with a bow.

         Also the spell Fire Lance is really great in this battle. Just

         watch out for Reflect Sorcery. Anyways if you are Level 5-6 this

         battle should be no problem. Just attack and use your Clinchers

         and the battle should be over in 2-3 rounds.



   After you have killed the Harpy walk all the way to the left and use

Crystal to jump up the left hand wall. In the Harpy's Next you can find

three treasures chest. They contain the Naken:"Flame Fein", Holy Glass,

and The Holy Emperess's Tiara. Once you are done with those you will get

30000 Experience Bonus. Now take the route that leads down and just walk

to the left and you are done.



   Now use your Soul Concentration again and it will take you to head

to Clairmonferan.

Jake Linnas

-----------



   You will now be in a bar, and a man with a white shirt will then walk

in. This man looks as though he has losed the use of one of his arms. The

Big Man(Gunther) will notice that it is Jake. Jake will say nothing. 

Gunther will then talk about how it has been a long time since he has

seen Jake. Gunther will then walk over to Jake and ask him what he is 

doing here. Gunther then talks about how they can't have a hero like 

Jake here and then punches Jake hard in the shoulder. Jake will then talk

about how he can't run away. 



   Now you see Jake leaveing the bar. As he does he runs into a young boy.

The boy will be startled. The boy will then notice Jake is injured and

apoligize. Jake will just put his hand on the boy's head. Jake will then

walk off the screen. The scene then changes and you will see two men in a

large circular room. Man A will say that someone he knows saw Jake Linnas

in the town today. Man B will inquire about this. Man B then continues by

asks if they know where he is now. Man A will say that they can find out

quick enough. The scene will then change and you will see Jake standing

in an old moss covered house. Jake will be talking to himself. Jake will

be wondering why he came back here after what happened with the King. The

scene shifts to the outside of Clairmonferan. Jake will be walking along

in the dark when he notices somthing. Jake will asks who is there. You

will then see somebody standing in a "Ninja-like" outfit. Jake will then

pull out his gun, but when he does the "Ninja" leaves. Jake runs over and

notices that he left a letter. 



   You will then be back in the circular room. Man A will then walk up to

B and tell him that they delivered the letter and that's why... Man B will

wonder what he means by that. Man B will keep wondering, eventually 

realizing that Man A knows somthing. The scene the comes back and you see

Jake walk in. Man A will greet Jake. Just as Jake walks over to Man A, two

arrows come out and kill Jake. Man B shows up and the talk about how the

King should be happy. The scene will then shift to the young boy sitting

outside the bar. The Boy will hear two mean talking about how the Knight

could never resist a fight. The Young boy will then bow his head. You

will now see Valkyrie and Jake talking with each other. Jake will say that

his father was talking about this. Jake will then talk about how he has

no regrets what happend to the King. Valkyrie asks even if it mean his

death. Jake will talk about how he was a Knight and he just couldn't make

it in time to save the town. Jake then goes on talking about how 10 years

ago, his father was telling him he couldn't have done anything differnt. 

Valkyrie will then tell him that he is weak, but for a human he isn't all

that bad. You will now be on the World Map. Use your Soul Concentartion

and you will be told to goto the Forgotten Caves.

Forgotten Caves

---------------



   If you have a Dragon Slayer and the Raven Slayer, you can kill some of

the enemies in here. Just make sure that you know what enemy you are 

fighting so you know which weapon to equip. Also if you use a Book of

Refining Gold on those Birds in the long hall, you can get about 27000

Experience from that battle(which translates into about 2 levels). Now

unless you have a Beast Slayer, you can't kill that monster to the left.

So just leave. When you reach the World Map, use your Soul Concentration.

You will then be told to goto Firan.

Jun

---



   You will see a Young Woman crying in a shrine in the Rain. The Young 

Woman will then walk to the left where a old man is standing. The Old Man

(Listed simply as a Shinto Priest) tells they young woman to go home and 

get some sleep. The Young Woman(Ashie) says that her brother won't be doing 

anything anyways. Ashie then talks about how if only her brother hadn't 

have gone on that Journey. The Shinto Priest will agree. You will then be 

in a town scene with three young man. Townsman 1 will ask about a Demon. 

Townsman 2 will ask where this Demon is. The Man(simply listed as 

"Samurai") will say that he will go.



   You will now be in the Demons Lair and you will see that Samurai has 

lost. The Demon say it was a nice try, but today isn't your day. The 

Samurai will then scream. You will then be back and the Shinto Priest

will talk about how it was lucky the other two survived. Ashie then will

tell him that she lost her brother in the process. The Shinto Priest then

goes on about how he understands and about how he has always protected

her. Ashie then agrees with that. The Shinto Priest says that she can come

back anytime she wants. The Shinto Priest then says not to worry, her

brother wont be attaked by any undead. 



   You will be back in the Demons Lair now. Valkyrie will walk up to him.

The Demon says that he will add her soul to his collection. Valkyrie will

then walk forward and says "Soul? Oh, I don't have one of those..." She 

then takes the Demon out with one slash. You will then see the Demon flash

and suddenly become the Samurai. There will then be a flashback and the

Demon will be explaning to Jun that when he dies Jun will become him. 

Jun can't belive this and says that he won't die. The Demon will keep 

talking how Jun will be killed. Jun will then state that he won't die, he

has to keep living. The Demon will be supprised at this. Jun says that

this time he will give it all of his strength. There will be a flash of

light and you will see the Demon down. Jun wonders why the Demon isn't

changing into a human. The Demon then explains that he is going to change

into Jun. You then see Jun tranform into the Demon. The Demon will be 

happy he is still alive. You will then go to the present and Jun will

ask Valkyrie where the Demon is. Valkyrie will explain the Demon isn't 

here any more. That Jun and she got rid of it. Jun will then realize the

demon took his Soul. She then tells Jun not to worry. She has his soul

and she wants his help. Valkyrie keeps talking until she eventually tells

Jun that he is hers now. Jun then realize that his soul is alright.



   You will now see the Shinto Priest and Ashie standing outside. There is

now a Rainbow out too. Ashie will wonder if her brother is doing all

right. She then continues say that she is alone now. The Shinto Priest

will wonder why she says that. Ashie says she doesn't know why, but that

is how she feels. 



   You now have Jun. I really like Jun since his Clincher attacks 15 times

(The only other that attacks more times is Bram). Anyways You will now be 

on the World Map. Use your Soul Concentration and you will be told to

goto the Nolsof Swamp.

Nolsof Swamp

------------



   Start by walking to the left until you can walk up. When your on the

next screen start walking to the right through the swamp. When you reach

the end you will find a chest containing the Shadow Servant spell. But 

watch out, the chest has a trap on it. After that walk all the way to the

left until you reach a new screen. You should now be near a hill with a 

switch-back path that leads up. Take that path to the top where you will

find another Shadow Servant spell. Then go up where it will let you. You

will find a Holy Crystal near the right wall. After that head down

and take the path that leads to the right. Then just follow the path right

until you can head down. Now just keep going left until you can head. And

you will be back at the hill. The reason I had you do that is so you can 

gain a more Experience by killing all those monsters. Anyways work your

way back to the area that you started at and this time head keep going 

to the left. Once you get passed the swamp you will find that you are near

a place that you can go down, so do it. Once you are on this screen, just

walk to the left and kill those two monsters. Then come back and go down

where it will let you.



   On this screen walk over to the right and you will see a huge swamp. 

When you get near the tree Valkyrie will notice that she can cut it. Have

her swing at the tree and it will fall down and create a path for you(You

also get 5000 Experince Points for doing it too). So start walking along 

the tree and eventually you will reach a bag. When you open it, you will

find that it contains the skill Charge. You will also see a path that lets

you walk up, so take that path. Now that tree that you think blocking your

way actually is a fake. Just Jump and you will find a path that will let

you through. When you get to the other side you will find a Holy Crystal,

the skill Wait Reaction, an Eye of Heaven, and last a Element Scepter. When

you have all those head back to where you found the skill Charge. If you

keep walking to the left you will find a path that lead down. Just go in

this path and you will find a Save spot to the left. Save and go back to

the screen that had the Charge Skill. Keep walking all the way to the

left. Eventually you will reach a path that will let you go down(it will

be just before the save point). When you take it head to the right and

grab the bag, then goto the first swamp and open the chest you see. It will

contain the Cure Condition skill. Now if you walk to the right you will

find a chest hidden in the swamp. It contains the Naken:"Flare Baselard",

which is essential if you want to beat the Dragon Zombie and don't have

the Dragon Slayer. But, don't go yet. You can still find a Demon Slayer

(kills anything with Demon in it's name in one hit) and a Crystal. They

will both be in the swamp to the left. Anyways once you have all of those

items, head back to the very first Save Point. But, this time head to the

left. Keep going left until you can take a path that leads down. Now, 

before you walk to the left, Make sure you have the Dragon Slayer of the

Naken:"Flare Baselard" equipped. Otherwise you will lose this battle. Then

fall down to the left and Valkrie will automatically walk through the mud.

She will come apon a Dragon Zombie. Valkyrie will wonder what the Dragon

could want here. Anyways you have to take the Dragon out, so you get in a

battle.

Strategy:This is a very difficult if you do not have the Naken:"Flare 

         Baselard" or the Dragon Slayer. Anyways if you have the Dragon

         Slayer it is over in one hit. If not it will take some time. And

         you will need to be careful since this is the first boss that can

         actually kill you, even if you pay attention. Then just try and

         get a big combo going and you will win. Also during the second

         round Valkyrie will tell you how to find out the enemies weakness

         by using the Spectecles. Anyways, just make sure you have the 

         Dragon Slayer and this battle will be now problem.



   Once the battle is over continue walking throught the swamp to the

right. You will come apon two chests eventually, both of them artifacts.

One contains Dryaid Bark(Leave) and the other contains the Tombstone

Sheet(Leave). After you have grabbed both of the treasures you will get

a message saying you received 20000 Experience Points. Then just head to

the right and you will find a exit that will lead you to the world map.

   These are optional events you can do. You don't have to do them, but

they will generally add more to the story/make you stronger/get you a

better ending.

Raven Slayer

------------



   Head back to Clairmonferan and then go to Jakes House. It will be the

2nd or 3rd door from the left. When you enter Jake will come out and say

that it looks like those two Knights forgot something. He will then hand

you the Raven Slayer. A very powerful bow, that kills flying monsters

instantly.

Encounter with Rucio

--------------------



   Head to Chevron. You will then see a Woman(Clair) walking around. She

will then stop walking and then ask herself where he could be. Clair will

then continue to walk. Clair stops again and says that she guesses she will

go home. But, before she does she will notice Valkyrie. There will now

be a flashback where you see Rucio with Clair. Clair will be asking if the

kid was beautiful. Rucio will say that is a stupid question, he was 14 at

the time. But, yes he did think she was beautiful. Clair then continues to

inquire and Rucio says that the girl had Platinum colored hair. You will

now be back in the present and Clair will note that Valkyrie has Platinum

colored hair. Clair will then think that if that is the girl, she will die.

You now see a Stone hit Valkyrie in the back. Valkyrie will look around to

see who tossed it. Clair will then be wondering why she would throw a rock

at someone. Valkyrie will then be in a house with an Old Woman(Dorthy). 

Dorthy will ask Valkyrie to please forgive the child. Valkyrie will wonder

what she is talking about. Dorthy will say that the child who hit her with

the stone has a tendacy to get angry. Valkyrie will say nothing and a child

will then walk through the door. Following the Child will be Rucio, who

asks how Dorthy is doing. Dorthy will say she is fine, and then says that

Clair hit this Woman with a Rock. Rucio is very supprised that Clair would

do that. Rucio will then walk over to Valkyrie and apoligize, saying that

Clair is just like that. Rucio will then be shocked and Dorthy will ask

him what is wrong. Rucio will say it is nothing. Valkyrie will then say

hello to Rucio. You will now just see Valkyrie with Dorthy. Dorthy will

explain about how Rucio is helping all of the children. After that you will

see Rucio confront Clair about the Rock Incident. Clair will say she didn't

do it but, then say that she has Platinum Hair. Rucio will understand.



   Now that you are done here. Just waste out the rest of the Periods.

After you do that Frei will show up.

Sacred Phase 2-3

   Frei will greet you again and give you an update on the battle. Here

at any character you sent up. You can do a few things with Belinas(not

    Before you start this chapter get rid of Jake. After you have done that

use your Soul Concentration and then head to Camille Village.

Kashel

------



   When you enter Camille Village you will notice that everyone has been

turned into Stone. The camera will move to the left and eventually you will

see Kashel and Selia. Selia will comment about how cruel this was. Kashel

will say that Word wasn't wrong. This had to have been done by some Stone-

like creature. Selia will throw out a Basilisk, Cockatrice, and then a

Gorgon. Selia will then say that has to have been it. Kashel will say that

it couldn't have been, since the people would have been crushed. Selia will

then throw out a Medusa as a possiblity. Kashel will say that was what he

was thinking. Kashel then says that they will have to get someone to help

these people. Selia will agree. They then walk to the right and come across

an old sword. Kashel will wonder what that sword is doing there. Kashel 

then walks up to the sword a grabs it. He then notice that the sword is 

good. Kashel then notice there is an enscription on it. Selia will come up 

and notice that its called Ruin Writing. Selia then walks up and note that 

it looks as if it could be a match for the famous Grand String. Kashel will

be supprised. After that Selia will walk in the door and note that even the 

ruins are turned to stone. She then yells for Kashel to come quickly. 

Kashel will say he realize somthing. He was talking to a child who told 

him about how Monsters had been sealed away. Kashel then realizes this 

must be the place the kid was talking about. Selia won't answer. Kashel 

then continues that they have to go back and save the people. Selia will 

agree. Then a mysterious voice then start talking to Kashel. Kashel will 

then want the voice to come out. Selia will wonder what Kashel is doing. A 

flying creature will then come out and stab Kashel. As Kashel is sent 

flying he says that he has to protect...and then all of a sudden the 

bottle starts to glow. 



   You will now see Valkyrie holding the bottle. Valkyrie asks him why he

wants to save this. Kashel will be supprised it's the War Goddess Valkyrie.

Kashel will then say that he feels like he is in a dream. After this he

inquire as to what Valkyrie wants to say to him. Valkyrie tells him that

they are going to live. Kashel will wonder about this. Valkyrie then 

repeats that they are going to live. You will then see Kashel disappear and

Valkyrie carefully place the bottle on the ground. You will then see Selia

come over and pick it up. She is supprised it isn't broken, but then feels

bad for Kashel. You will now see Selia with a little girl. Selia will be

talking about how she doesn't have the strength to live and that she misses

him. Selia then falls down crying. 



   You will now be back on the world map. I put Kashel in my party, since

I like him. After that use your Soul Concentration and head to Firan.

Nanami

------



   The scene will open up with a little girl sitting in a room. A Man will

then be walking in the background and enters the room. The man(listed as

Foster Father) will ask if Nanami is doing okay. Nanami will tell the 

Foster Father that he shouldn't worry about her. The Foster Father will 

understand and tells her that she should take a little nap. Nanami says she

doesn't need to. Nanami follows up by saying that she is going to go make 

an errand. The Foster Father won't say anything. Nanami then says that is 

why her father shouldn't worry about her, she can take care of herself. You

will then see Nanami praying at shrine for someone named Minaro. After that

a Woman(Foster Mother) will be asking The Foster Father where Nanami went 

to. The Foster Father will just make a sound. The Foster Mother wonders why

she would go there, she then says that Nanami should forget all of the 

problems she carries. The Mother then continues to worry and the Father 

then consuls her.



   You now see Nanami walking through a cave. She will be wondering about

both of her parents and wonders if blood relation really makes that much

of a deal. Nanami then continues to walk and says if doesn't matter to 

others, then why does it matter to her. She then says that she is not

her fault. Nanami then says that her power is proof of that. You will then

see Nanami walking to the left and then she will see a sword in a shrine.

Nanami recognizes this as the God Katana "Ryu Wizard". Nanami walks up to

it and the Katana starts to glow. The screen will then flash and you will

see Nanami back at the shrine as she walks towards her Foster Parents.

Nanami will then pull somthing out and her Foster Father will be shocked.

The Foster Father will then walk over to Nanami and her Foster Mother will

cry. There will be a flashback and you will see Nanami blinded from the

light. Nanami will then wonder what that light was. A lifeless figure will

then appear in front of the Katana. Nanami will wonder if this is really

Minaro. The spirit will then move right towards Nanami as she cries. 



   Valkyrie will then warp in and the spirit will back off. Valkyrie tells

it to not bother this child, or Valkyrie will finsh it off. Nanami begs

Valkyrie to stop. Valkyrie will tell Nanami that it isn't what she thinks

it is. Nanami then says that she wants to end this. Valkyrie will wonder

what the human ment. Nanami will say that she wants to die, but she is

going to miss everyone. Nanami then starts to cry. Nanami will the go on

and on about that and eventually Valkyrie will say that she understands.

After that Nanami then walks past Valkryie as the screen goes blank. After

that you will Valkyrie talk about how everyone walks a different path and

then says that you will live once again. You will then see Nanami's sister

staring at a Rainbow as the camera moves up. Now use your Soul 

Concentration. You will now be told to goto the Soldiers Barracks of the 

Calcurry Mansion.

Soldiers Barracks of the Calcurry Mansion

-----------------------------------------



   Start by heading to the right. Now keep heading to the right until you

reach the ladder. When you reach it go all the way to the right and jump

in the opening. Now take that ladder to the bottom and head to the left.

You will then find two chests(they contain a Guts and an Adapt Illusion).

Now go back and climb up that ladder and jump to the right. You can find

an Eye of Heaven in this room. Once you have it, go back to the first

Ladder and take that up. Jump to the right when you can and enter the door.

Continue to the right for two rooms and eventually you will reach a door

and a message will show up. The message will say that you are reaching the

puzzle room of the Calcurry Mansion. And that if anytime you get stuck you

can press select and it will show you a map. Also if you get stuck, a face

will appear and then you can be warped back. When you are ready head to 

the right. This is the order you will want to follow:



D,R,R,R,U,L,L,U,U,R,R,D,D,R,



   A few more tips. You will find that you won't be able to make jump 

because you are standing in the water. So stand near the edge of the box

to make the jumps. Also if it won't let you go up, just re-enter the room

and the puzzle will reset itself.



   When you finally accomplish this you will get a 20000 Experience Bonus.

And you solved what is one of the worst puzzles of this game. Now that you

have that continue to the right. Eventually you will reach a Save Point.

Save you game and then continue to the right. When you enter Valkyrie will

talk about how this is a Strange Monster. After that Valkyrie says that she

will destroy it. You then enter a battle.

Boss Battle

Name:Chimera



HP:20000

   

Recommended Level:9



Attacks:

Strategy:Cure Condition is incredibly helpful in this battle. The more

         people that have it the better. Since the Chimera can do all

         sorts of Status Conditions. Anyways if you can attack once with

         your entire party, you can beat this thing easily. All in all,

         the worst part of this battle is the start. 



   After you beat the Chimera head to the right and you can find two 

chests. The contain the Geni:"Mirage Robe" and the Magic Summoning Mirror.

Then you will get 50000 for doing all of this. So head back out to the

World Map. Use your Soul Concentration once again and this time head to

Firan.

Yumeru

------



   The scene will open up with you seeing a "Tall" ship. The camera will

then slowly move down until you see a Mermaid sitting on a piece of 

wrekage. The Mermaid(Yumeru) will wonder if everyone is doing okay. You

will then see a two men on the ship. The man on the left will walk over.

His name is Katsuo. He will say that is not good, they won't be able to

make it today. The other Man(simply listed as Father Like) says that they

can always make it tomorrow. Katsuo will start walking to the left and

looking. The Father Figure will ask him what's wrong. Katsuo will ask

him if he sees the beautiful island out there. The Father Figure will say 

that they are surround by water. Katsuo says that he know this. Yumeru then

shouts out for them to help her. You then go back to a close-up of Yumeru

as she shouts for help again. Yumeru then says if they help here she will

take them to a beautiful island inhabited by Maidens. The screen will then

flash and you will see Yumeru on board the ship. 



   The Father Figure will be asking if she is all right. Yumeru says that

she is. The Father Figure wants to know how she got here. Yumeru answers

that she was shipwreked. The Father Figure will wonder about what happend

to all the other people. Yumeru says she doesn't know. After a brief pause,

The Father Figure will ask what her name is. Yumeru answers with her name.

The Father Figure will tell Katsuo to go below deck. Katsuo wants to know 

why he needs it. The Screen will then go black for a second and when it 

reappears you will see Yumeru with The Father Figure. Yumeru asks if the 

Father Figure knows about Lapis. The Father Figure will be supprised at 

this. Then asks if she means the Jewel. Yumeru then says yes, but she needs

some help. The Father Figure wants to know how she learned about this. 

Yumeru says she saw it. They go on about that and eventually the screen 

will go blank and Yumeru will be telling about how there is no Lapis. 



   After that the ship will then shake. Yumeru will ask what that was. 

Katsuo wonders if she really wants to know, and tells them there is a

Gaint Whirlpool ahead. Yumeru wonders what a Whirlpool is and Katsuo 

explains it to her. The screen will go black and you will see the ship

in the port. Katsuo will come out and say he wants Lapis too. Yumeru

wonders what he is talking about.  Katsuo says the he overheard you talking

to The Father Figure and says that he wants some too. Katsuo and and 

Yumeru will walk along the dock and then Katsuo will notice that you 

changed. Yumeru will thank him, but then says she hasn't changed. Katsuo

will apoligize. They both then continue to walk along the dock. Yumeru

will then ask Katsuo what he dreams about. Katsuo says that one day he

would like to have his own ship. Just as you reach the end Katsu will

stop and asks Yumeru. Yumeru will then say that she hasn't done anything.

Katsu will say he knows this. The scene will change again and you will

see The Father Figure and Yumeru in a room.



   The Father Figure will tell Yumeru that he will take her where she 

wants to go, but in return she has to tell him where it is. Yumeru says

she doesn't have any time for this and that she needs to go return to her 

father. The Father Figure will ask what his name is. Yumeru will say it

is Kou Riren. The Father Figure then wonders if this is the same Kou

of the Koushou Army. Yumeru will ask how he knows. The Father Figure will

say by the reputation. The Father Figure then says that he hate to bring

you bad news but the Koushou Army was wiped out. He then goes on explaing

about their defeat. You will then see Katsuo outside listening. He can't

believe what his father figure is saying. And wonders about Yumeru. You

will then see Yumeru and Katsuo in a room. Katsuo will say that this

"Kou" isn't here. He then says that he is going. Yumeru says that she

isn't. Katsuo wants to know why she is waiting for someone who will

never show up. Katsuo will then wonder if Yumeru told the truth about

the Lapis. Yumeru will say there never was any Lapis. Yumeru then jumps

out of the window. Katsuo tells her to wait. Katsuo will be wondering

where she went, and then he thinks that she might have drowened in the

ocean. You will then hear a noise. Katsuo will realize that it is a 

Whirlpool. Katsuo then walks to the right and sees a Mermaid and wonders

if it is Yumeru. Yumeru will then explain that she was never human. Katsuo

will say that can't be. Yumeru tells him to hurry and get away, a Giant

Whirlpool is coming. Katsuo will then walk into the water and ask if 

Yumeru is going to search for her father. Yumeru will say nothing and

Katsuo will say that is a shock. Katsuo will then explain that she isn't

strong enough. Yumeru will tell him he is wrong. She explains that she 

isn't going to wait for the return of her father. Katsuo will wonder what

she means by this. Yumeru will then explain her mother is dead too. She

then explains her mothers death and about how she had to keep up her 

spirits after. She then decideds that this was the only way, and realizing

that she was stupid. She then goes on about how she is going to visit her

mother and father. Katsuo yells for her to stop. She tells him good-bye 

and then swims off. You will now see a FMV of the Whirlpool forming. After

that you will see a flashback of what you just saw. 



    You now see Katsuo on the beach telling himself that he was the stupid

one. Saying that he should have stopped her. Then a light will start to

come out of the water and a little blue ball will float. Katsuo will wonder

what it is. The game will then explain that when Mermaids die there spirits

will crystalize and create the Legendary Lapis. You will then see Katsuo

holding the Lapis. You will then hear Yumeru's voice asking Kastuo. He will

then say to himself that he was wrong. He doesn't want a ship, he want's

Yumeru Back. You then see him hold the lapis and wish that Yumeru would

come back. The Lapis then glows and you will see Yumeru fall down to the

bottom of the ocean, but then you hear Valkyrie talk about how the woman

isn't completely dead yet. Valkyrie then grabs Yumeru and says that because

of the wish she will take Yumeru to Valhalla. The Valkyrie says that she

has a little time left. You then see Katsuo on the beach thinking about

how he is waiting for Yumeru, but she will never come. Katsuo have another

flashback and then his Father Figure come onto the beach. He asks Katsuo

if that woman could have ever survived the Whirlpool. 



   After that you will be back on the World Map. Use your Soul 

Concentration and head to the Forgotten Caves.

   A few of the monsters in this Cave are just way too strong. So just kill

what you can and then get out. After this you are done with Chapter 3. So 

it is time to move on to Extras(and there are alot).

   These are optional events you can do. You don't have to do them, but

God Katana:"Ryu Wizzard"

------------------------



   Head to Firan. The go all the way to the right. You will then see Minaso

near the temple. If you talk to her she will give you the God Katana:"Ryu

Wizzard". This is for Mages only. It's will raise your Magic Power by 600.

Lapis Pendant

-------------



   While in Firan, go to the beaches. When you do Yumeru will come out.

She will apoligize to Katsuo and then walk into the water. She will then

find this. It reduces Ice Damage by 50%.

Naken:"Vain Slay"

-----------------



   Head to Camille Village. Take the second path that leads up. Now keep

walking to the left past the Girl. You will see a Sword in a pile of dirt.

Kashel will then come out and say that is his Sword and that Selia must

have left it. Valkyrie says he is probably right. Kashel then says that

there would be no harm in his taking it. After that you get the Sword.

Cliff Caves

-----------



   While in Camille Village you can still do this. Just walk to the left

of where you got the Naken:"Vain Slay". I have included a walkthrough of

this area.



Walkthrough-

   It is important that you have the Demon Slayer or otherwise this Boss

at the end will be very difficult for you. Anyways start by walking down

the stairs towards the right. Equip your Dragon Slayer and then take out

that Dragon Zombie. Behind the Dragon is a chest that contains a Bastard

Sword. Take that and the head all the way to the left. On the next screen,

take the first door that leads up. In that room you can find the Defend

Skill. After you have that head back down and to the left. Watch out for

the Statue and the Eye, both of them can freeze you. In this room climb

the ladder and the head to the left. You will now be in the room that

Kashel and Selia were in. Once you have grabbed the Naken:"Flare Baselard",

head back out and this time take the path to the left of the stairs. Now

run to the right and hop over the statue. Just keep heading to the right

and you will run into some Goo. Just have the Freeze Laser fire at the

Goo(you can get it to do this by having a crystal reflect it). When the goo

freezes swing at it. Now head to the right. In the next room take the

stairs and then head to the right. You can find a War Hammer and the skill

Trick Step. Now head to the left. Equip your Dragon Slayer and then take

out the Dragon Zombie. After that you can find an Eye of Heaven, a book

of Reduce Guard, and finally another Dragon Slayer. Head back to where you

first cut through the goo.Now take the path that leads down. If you head to

the left you will find more of that Goo that your sword can't cut through. 

So what you have to do is have that Freeze Laser reflect off of your 

crystal and freeze the goo. When you finally do this you will get 6000 

Experience. Now if you head to the left you will find another one of these.

This one is particularly hard to freeze. You have to use a couple of 

crystal to reflect the laser down to the goo. I found that this works best.



1)See where the Laser Shoots.

2)Put a Crystal There.

3)See where Laser is reflected too.

4)Put a Crystal there.



   I have found the best way to see the laser while it is firing, is to

slide underneath the crystals. Anyways, once you cut through it you will

get 12000 Experience. Now keep heading to the left. Run down the long 

flight of stairs and then put crystals at the bottom. A Laser wille 

eventually shoot and freeze the Goo. Slash at it and continue to the left.

Make sure you have your Dragon Slayer equipped and take out the Dragon.

The continue to the left. On the next screen, head to the right. Just 

follow the path down and eventually you will reach a Save Point. Save your

game and also make sure someone has a Demon Slayer equipped. After that,

then head to the right. When you enter you will see the Demon Servant that

killed Kashel. Valkyrie is supprised he is alive, saying that she thought

that that girl(Selia) would have killed him. The Demon Servant will say

that no human can kill him. Eventually the Demon Servant will transform and

you will enter battle with it.

Name:Greater Demon

Strategy:Just use your Demon Slayer and this battle will be over very 

         quick. If you don't have a Demon Slayer then you will have to use

         Reduce Guard and then hope for the best. 



   After the battle you can grab two artifacts. One is the Golden Chicken

and the Other is the Souken:"Gran String". You will then receive 30000

Experience for doing this, and you can now leave.

Bram's Castle

-------------



   This is the orange dot a little north of where the Dragon Palace/Firan

is. I have include a walkthrough for this area:



Walkthrough-



   Let me warn you that you have 4 minutes. Which is just about enough

to accomplish everything that you will want to do. You will want to get

all of the treasures(there are some good items here) and then you will want

to meet with Bram. Now that we have are objectives here, lets go on.



   Start by walking to the right. When you get on the next screen take

the path that leads up twice. Then make a left and you will be in a room

that has two chests hidden by a curtain. Once is the Naken:"Moon Phalanx"

and the other is the Unicorn Horn(very important, and you will see why

later). After you have those walk to the right and take the first path

that leads down. You will find an Ordinary Shape book in this room. Once

you have this just head up. Then continue to the right until you reach 

another area where you can head down. Go down to that room and you will

find some Bolt Sake. Then go back and to the right and take the next 

area that will let you down. You will then find a Beast Slayer(kills 

anything with Beast in its name in 1 hit). Leave this room and continue

walking to the right and you will reach a flight of stairs and a place

that you can go down. Take the flight of stairs to the Top and you will

be able to pick up the Skill of Combo Counter(very important) and a 

Nightshade. Once you have those go back down the stairs and take the 

route that leads down. You will have to keep heading down for four times

and then you will reach another corridor. If you walk to the right you

will find a Save Point. If you have above 3 mintues left then I would save,

if not don't save. After that head to the left. When you reach and area

that you can head up do so. You will find a Cure Plums book. Leave this

room and continue to the left. Head all the way to the left and you

will be able to find a Naken:"Flare Baselard". After you grab that head

back to the right and take the door that leads up. Head up two or three

times.



   Now walk to the left and up that door and you will find some Plant 

Seeds. After you have those leave that room and continue to the right. Take

the next door that leads up and in that room you will find the Skill Throw.

Leave that room and continue to the right. You should reach a flight of

stairs. Take the stairs up and head to the left and you will find a save

point. Save and then leave that room and make a jump to the right corner.

You will enter another room that has a huge monster in it. But before you

go up to him, head to the room that leads up and you can find a Lapis, a

War Hammer and a some Mithril Ore. Once you have those leave that room

and head down. In this room you can find a Stone Touch Spell and a Zebori.

Once you have those it is time to fight the Ram Guardian. This battle is

incredibly difficult, if you don't have a plan. This what I do:



Strategy:Make sure that your Mage has the Stone Touch spell. If you can

         successfully Stone the Ram Guardian it makes this much easier, if

         not, don't worry. He attacks about once for every three turns you

         have. Just use a Union Plum on the down time. Oh and yes he will

         kill any character in one hit. Now what you have to do is use some

         Good Clinchers(i.e. Valkyrie, Jun, Aluze, Rourry, Rofar) any of 

         those will do fine. I happened to use a party of Valkyrie, Jun,

         Kashel and Yumeru. But, anyways after you have him Stoned, just

         use your Clincher moves and hope you can kill him before he kills

         you. One last things, he has about 27,000 DME. The most so far.



   Once you have him killed head back to the save point that was at the

top of the stairs, and then continue left. You will then enter a room and

you will see Bram sitting on a Chair. Valkyrie will level her sword at

him and tell Bram to prepare himself. Bram will note that you came back

to end it. Valkyrie will wonder what he means by "end it". Bram will ask

Valkryie what she would be willing to make a little truce. Valkyrie

wonders what Bram is talking about. Bram will explain to Valkyrie that 

he cannot defeat Odin. Bram will then moves with such speed 

towards Valkyrie that it startles her. Bram will then tell her to make

her move. Bram then says that you don't have to fight. You will now get

to either A)Fight Him or B)Leave. You should choose B) since you only get

700 Experience and nothing really else. The only reason you should choose

A is if you want to see why he is the strongest fighter you can get. But,

if you do this is what happens. Valkyrie will level her sword again and

tells Bram that she will get rid of all Vampires. Bram then tells her

to look up. You will then see a Woman encased in a crystal. Valkyrie will

call him a Monster and swings at him. But, Bram is just too fast. You will

then enter battle. Which you can't win(well you can but I didn't want to 

waste my time). Anyways now if you choose B) Bram will tell you that you

made the right decision. Bram will then warp out. Valkyrie lowers her 

sword and wonders how that guy can have so much power. Then wonders about

why Odin is his enemy. Anyways you will now be on the World Map. Just

sleep and you can then go to the Sacred Phase.

   Start out by using your Soul Concentration. You will be told to head to

Valnova.

Amy

---



   When you enter Valnova will you will see a young woman chained up in 

some sort of torture chamber. Amy will then apoligize to everyone, since 

she didn't make it. The camera will then show you the torture chamber.

Valkyrie will then warp in near the door and walk down the steps and then

towards Amy. Amy will wonder who Valkyrie is. Valkyrie will explain that

she is someone who collects Souls. Amy then thinks that Valkyrie works for

the a Death God. Amy then says that she will never die. Valkyrie notes

that she sure has a loud voice, but okay. Valkyrie then leaves and the 

screen will go blank.



   When the screen comes back up you will see an Old Man and Two Soldiers

near Amy. Soldier A says that Gannos is going to test a Spell on Amy. 

Gannos explain that his strongest spell calls apon the blood of a Dragon. 

Amy then wonders if Gannos is talking about the Jewel Dragon(Carbunkle).

Gannos then says that you can stay down here a while longer. Gannos and

the Soldiers then leave. Amy will then keep telling herself that she won't

die. But then notes that she has to stop him. The Soldiers will come back

and tell Amy that they will feed her now. Gannos will then go over and

asks if Amy is ready to talk now. Amy will call him an asshole and then

Gannos will get very upset and that he will show her. Gannos then gathers

energy around him and blasts Amy. 



   You will now see Amy with Valkyrie. Amy will ask Valkyrie if she wants

her power to fight for the Gods. Amy will then say why not. Valkyrie will

talk about the strength of the body and about how Amy will find out. Amy

will then say that she understans. Valkyrie then asks her to join the 

party. After that the Valkyrie will then think that Gannos might just be

useful. And then you will back on the World Map with Amy in your party. 

Make sure that you get a Heart Pierce for Amy. After that use your Soul 

Concentration and it will tell you to head to the Dark Tower of Zelva.

The Dark Tower of Zelva

-----------------------



   Start walking to the right and when you reach the next room, if you 

climb to the top you can find an Eye of Heaven. Now, jump up and take

the top right door. Now continue up the stairs to the right. After you 

walk up the next flight of stairs you can find a Poison Blow. Once you have

that, jump to the left. Continue all the way to the left and you will 

eventually reach a room that contains three chests(Bastard Sword, War 

Hammer, Auto Item). Once you have those work your way back to the where you

got the Eye of Heaven and take the second route. Head to the right and at

the top of the stairs you can find a chests that contains a Hit. Now, jump

to the left. When you enter the room you will notice that it is a Heart, but

it is not beating. The game the recommends that you slash it. So slash it

and it will start beating again. You will get a 12000 Bonus for doing that.

However when you did that you also activated those jaw things in the floor.

So you will have to watch out for them now. Anyways head back to the first

Eye of Heaven room and take the bottom path. Now walk to the right for one

screen and you will enter a fairly big room. Fall all the way to the bottom

left and you can find a chest that has a Crystal in it. Now head to the top

right and you can find a Mandrake. If you try to leaves this room, you see

that it is blocked. So what you have to do is jump into those jaws. You 

will now enter a weird room. But, In this wierd room you can find an 

incredible weapon; The Mage Slayer. It is really hidden. But, you can find

it near the left hand side, near that gray thing, but behind the Orange

thing. Also right next to the Mage Slayer you can find one of the Lotus

Gems(which are also very important). Once you have found both of these jump

onto the Middle Gray thing and you will be taken back to that room but,

this time the door will be open. So head to the right. In the next room

that wall will remain there until the Eye shows up. So what you have to

do is when the Eye shows up is run to the right. In the next room take the

upper path that leads to the left. Head all the way left and you can find

a Naken:"Flare Baselard" and some Holy Remains. Now head back to the right

and this time take the bottom path that leads to the left. Head to the left

for one more screen and then you will reach a room where you will have to

jump from platform to platform to make it to the left. Continue to the left

until you find a door that leads to the upper right. Enter the door and

you can find you will find another Heart you can slash(12000 Experience) 

and also an Invisibility Herb. Once you have those head back out. Head to

the bottom left and you can fight an Iron Golem. It has quite a bit of HP,

but if you beat it you get 14000 Experience. After you have done that, open

the chest and you will get a Lightning Bolt book. Now head to the top left

door. In the next room you can find a Noise Arrow. After you have that fall

down and head to the left. If you jump to the left you can find some 

Invsibility Herb and to the right you can find a Poison Blow. Once you have

those, head to the bottom right. In the next room grab the Plant Seed and

the Lapis, then fall to the bottom. Now just head all the way to the right

until you reach the Save Point. Stop and Save your Game and make sure that

you are powered up, since this next battle is not an easy one.



   When you walk to the right you will see a Monster that looks like

an Eyeball with Snakes coming out of its head. Valkyrie will say that this

Monsters looks like it is from the Princess of Hell. Valkyrie then says

that she won't allow the Princess of Hell in the Human World. The Hell

Servant will then talk about how get the Princess is and then calls for

reinforcements. You will now enter a battle.

Strategy:At the Start of this battle Valkyrie will explain that these 

         Monsters have the Ability of Resurrections. So in order to beat

         this battle you will have to take them both out in the same round.

         Which just makes this battle more difficult. Now here is the 

         Strategy that I find works best. One the first round I use 

         Clinchers to take down one of there HP to just about 2 or 3 hits.

         Then in the next round I do the same to the other. Then I just

         use Normal Attacks to take them out. By the way, it helps if you

         have something that prevents Faint. That way, you can always 

         attack. Also the skill Guts is extremely helpful here. And one 

         last thing, Magic doesn't really work on these Guys. This is 

         probably the first Hard battle. 



   After that tough battle you can find three Artifacts. The first is

The Secret of Resurrection, the next is the Seiken:"Lost Seraphy", and the

last is Snake Halbred:"Basilisk". I recommend that you take the Lost Serphay

and the Basilisk. The Lost Seraphy will increase your chance of getting

Mystic Gems and the Baslisk will have a 10% chance of stoning an enemy.

After you decide you will get 60000 Experience for doing all of this. Now

it is time to leave. You can get out quicker by falling into one of the 

Jaws and then take the middle gray thing. Anyways once you reach the

World Map, use your Soul Concentration. You will then be told to goto

the Forgotten Caves.

   These Monster you can kill with No Problem. Just make sure that you have

your Slayer Weapons ready for the few monsters that you can only do 0-1 

Damage on. Anyways just work your way through and when you can done leave.

When you get to the World Map, it's time to use your Soul Concentration.

You will be told to goto Saxxs Den.

Saxxs Den

---------



   Start by heading to the left and you will walk down a long hill. In the

next room jump over the water and continue to head to the left. Quick Note,

equip your Dragon Slayer before you attack the dragon that you see in the

water. Anyways use hop the platforms in the water to keep going to the

left until you reach the next room. In the next room take the route that

leads up and you will be able to grab a Eye of Heaven. Now take the route

that leads down. When you reach the next room go all the way to the left

and then slide. You will be able to get a chest that has the Skill Strike

Edge. Then take the route that leads down. Now head down into the water

and swing your sword at the plant that is under the water. The top of the

plant will then float. Now make a Hard Crystal and toss it in the water.

Then what you need to do is jump from the Crystal to the Plant and then

to the right(Or you can just jump on the plant before it rises). After you

cross you will reach a Save Point(so Save). If you walk to the left you 

will see the Body and Soul of a dead Priest. Talk to the Soul and he will 

tell you that you will need the get rid of the Water Gate Seal inorder to 

clear the Water Gate. If you talk to the body you will find out that this 

guy was a Magician from Flansburg. Anyways continue to the right. When you 

reach a wall there will be a route that leads down near it, so take it. 

Anyways go underwater and walk all the way to the left. Cut that plant and 

hop on to it before it rises. Then just take the exit to the left. Now fall

down into the pool of water and take the route that leads down. Work your

way through the underwater cave to the left and you will be able to find

a Naken:"Flare Baslard". After you have that go back and this time work

your way up and to the left. Now when you have a choice of a high road

or low road take the low road first. When you enter the room you should

see a Water fall and an Orb behind it. Shoot your Crystal at the Orb and

you will get 2000 Bonus Experience. Then go back and take the high road.

Now just press O at the little stand and you will then see a FMV scene

of how the Water Gate closed. Then just fall down that hole in the ground

and head to the left. Continue walking until to the left and you will reach

a Save Point. Save your game and then head to the left and fall down.



   You will see a room that has a huge glowing Pentagram on it. Valkyrie

will wonder if this is causing the trouble. Valkyrie will then realize that

she will have to destroy the seal. She then surround herself with energy

and thinks for a moment. Valkyrie will then destroy the Seal, but the 

entire building is shaking now. Valkyrie will wonder what is going on. 

A monster will then break through the wall and attack.

Strategy:Valkyrie will explain the whole damage system before this battle

         starts. Anyways this battle was easy for me. If you already went

         through the Forgotten Caves you have already fought the Kraken. 

         You will need to watch out for the Kraken. Since it can do quite

         a bit of damage. Also if you have the spell Poison Blow, when you

         use that it does a lot of damage too. Anyways just use normal 

         attacks on the Crab Servants and then use Clinchers on the Kraken.



   After the battle you can grab two artifacts. The Bracelet of Life and

the Coin of Fortune. After you have those you will get a message telling

you got 60000 Bonus Experience. Once you have that leave the Saxxs Den. Oh

and if on the way out you tell the Magician that you closed the seal, you

will get another 500 Experience. Once you get out, Use your Soul 

Concentration and it will tell you to head to Flansburg.

The Tower of Rezard Valis

-------------------------



   The scene will open up with a Man in Black with a Blue Cape, and a 

Frankstein-like Monster carrying a woman are running. The Frankstein(his

name is Beleon) will ask Master Rezard what they are going to do about the

people following them. Rezard (my favorite character) will tell Beleon not

to worry. Rezard the tells him to go on ahead. Beleon then say that he 

will. Rezard will then surround him self with energy and his Character

Voice will the recite a spell. After a monster the Dragon Tooth Warrior

will appear to stop the two people approaching. Rezard will say that this

should be able to hold you. A Harpy will then appear and Rezard will jump

on its back. He then tells the Elves that this is the end of the Play. One

of the Elves will tell Rezard to wait. The Harpy then flies away. The scene

will shift to that of a Dungeon and you will see the woman from before, 

chained up. Beleon will come in and say that Master Rezard told him to

guard the woman. Beleon will start walking down the stair and then a light

comes from the woman. Beleon wonders what is going on. The Woman will then

think that she has to break these chains. Beleon will walk towards as the

woman says she almost has it. Beleon will then grab his head and shout out

in pain. Beleon then grabs the woman and the woman thinks that Beleon has

quite a grip. However the both sizzle with electricity and are thrown to

the floor. Beleon is knocked out, so the woman gets up to leave, but Rezard

is already at the door. Rezard will note what good timing he has. Rezard

will then tell the girl that was really clever. But, Rezard then goes

on to explain that Beleon is a Homosclosus(I wish I could make that in

to a more Latin term, but it's good enough)which is a Man Made body. The

Elf will wonder about that. Rezard will then say that her face is really

too pale, and the guesses it must be his Charm. Rezard then continues to

explain that a Homosclosus is just a Human Body and a Soul. He then 

continues to say that it is regretable that he lost Beleon. So that's why

he hopes that she will particpate. The Elf wonders what he is talking

about. Rezard then says all he was suggesting was transforming her. But,

Rezard goes on to say the Humans and Elves he uses are kind of like cotton.

Rezard(laughing)then says that Beleon is a different case then her. Rezard 

tells a joke that comes out somthing like Cotton is the Partner to Cotton. 

The Elf then tells him to goto hell. Rezard will note that his Cotton is 

unhappy. Rezard then talks about the Knowledge of the Gods. The Elf will be 

shocked. Rezard will then notices that, that got her attention. Rezard

will then say that he holds the "Sage Stone", and says that natually she

should know about it. The Elf will wonder about the Sage Stone. Rezard then

goes on to say that having so much knowledge didn't come easy to him. He

goes on to say that he had to search all of the world, and now it is his.

The Elf will call him a Devil. Rezard will grab the Elf and then tells

his Cotton to stop that. Rezard then lets go of the Elf and talks about

how he is the first to accomplish this and about he can have everything

he wants. Rezard then goes on to say that they can do nothing to stop him.

You will then hear Rezard talk about how the elves all remeber the 

Knowledge.



   The scene will now be changed to that of a party. A Student will be

comment about the Party. The Principal(Rolenta) will that the student. 

Rolenta then says that she wished Meltina was her. The Student will agree.

You will now see Rolenta walking through the streets late at night. She

will be wondering when this person gets up. Rolenta will then comment that

she found it. She then walks up to the house. Rolenta will wonder if this

person is lonely. Rolenta will walk up to the door, but a cat will soon

follow. Rolenta walks over to the cat and wonders what it is doing here. 

The cats eyes will then flash red and the cat will then speak. The cat will

bring a message from Rezard Valis that says to come to the tower, I have

someone, etc. Rolenta will be shocked and then wonder about this Rezard 

Valis, then realizing who he is. You will now see the Cat and Rolenta at

the Tower, with Rezard and a body near him. Rezard will greet his Master.

Rolenta will wonder why he harmed this person body. Rolenta then wonders

how he can do such a thing, saying that she revived him. Rezard will wonder

what she ment by revived. Rezard will talk about his time in school, and

about the past. Rolenta will then tell him he is wrong, and wonders why

he did this. Rezard will talk about his partners, and then talks about

the timing. Rolenta wonders what he is talking about. Rezard then says

that he is going to feel sad but, die. Rezard then powers up a spell as

Rolenta will say that he should think this through. Rezard will then 

disappear in a red star. Rolenta will note that he used Telportation, and

then wonders how he ever gain so much power. She then wonder why he choose

this path. The rains will then start to fall. Rolenta walks over to the

body and asks if he is okay. The Man (simply knowen as Betrothed) notices

that it is Rolenta. Rolenta says that she is here and not to worry. The

Betrothed then tells her that his body is going to change, because of 

somthing that man did. His body will the start to flash. The Betrothed

keeps talking about his body changing. Rolenta will aplogize saying that

she couldn't do anything. His body keeps flashing and Rolenta says that

she is sorry. The man then says that you should kill him. Rolenta say that

she can't do that. The screen will then flash.



   You will now see Rezard in his lab. He will talk about how he can feel

the Undead Moving. Rezard then continues by say that he will make that 

Woman feel true insanity. Rezard continues by saying that Valkyrie should

hurry can come. You will now see A Giant Monster that has Rolenta by the

neck. Rolenta will be saying that she loved him. The screen will

then flash red and the head of the monster will come off. You will see

Valkyrie warp in and take the Soul of Rolenta and then take the steps 

down...



   First thing you need to do is Save. This is your first big maze. Also

replace your Mage with Rolenta. The reason why is that she comes with a

spell that makes this dungeon a breeze; The Cross Airrade. This spell will

help you get through the dungeon until you can get make a better spell;

Prismic Missle. Anyways start by heading up the door that is right next to

the Save Point. Then head into the Elevator. Get off at the first stop of

the elevator and head up. Now if you head to the left you can fight a

Manticore. Do this to gain experience then walk all the way to the right

and take the path leading down. Now walk to the left for two screens and

then take the path that leads up. Walk to the right and you will find a

Manticore, kill it and continue to the right. If you keep walking to the

right you will reach a chest that had a Writings of the Immortals in it.

After you have that head back to the room with the elevator and then head

down. Take the next exit on the elevator and then take the door down. Just

take the path that leads around(this is just to gain Experience). After you

have done that head back to the Save Point. Now head to the left and take

the door that is on the next screen and then take the elevator. Get off at

the first location and you can find two treasure chests. One conatains a

War Hammer(Poison Arrow Trap) and an Eye of Heaven(Explosion Trap). Once

you have those get back on the Elevator and take it to the next stop. Take

the door that leads down and the first head to the right to pick up the 

Skill Splash. Once you have that equip your Dragon Slayer and kill the 

Dragon Zombie. Then head to the left and take the door. Now head to the

right. Keep heading to the right until you take the stairs down. Then start

going to the left. Go past the first door you see and take the second. 

Continue heading to the right until you can take a route that leads down.

Now start heading to the left and you will reach a Manticore. Kill it, and

then take the two chests behind it. One is a Nightshade(Poison Arrow 

Trap) and the other is the spell Cool Dazzel. After you have both of those

take the passage that you saw earlier and passed by . Head into the 

Elevator and take it down. Get off at the first stop and head to the 

left. Equip your Dragon Slayer and then kill the 2 Dragon Zombies. Go past

where the Dragon Zombies where and you will be able to find a chest that

contains The Teaching of Asa. After you have that head to the right. Now

go up and kill that Manticore and continue to the left and take the door

that leads up. Now walk to the right. Now keep walking to the right and

enter the door. Walk up to the top of the stairs, kill the Manticore, and

then continue walking to the left. You will now be in a room that has a

Female Statue holding a crystal. Slash at the crystal and it will light

up. You will also get a 12000 Experience Bonus for doing this. Now head

back to where you went to the right and this time goto the left. Head 

through the door and in the next room walk up the stairs to the left. Take

the route that leads down and you will eventually reach a Save Point. Save

the game and then head to the right of that room. You will then find 3

treasure chests that contain the Skill;Dancing Sword, Lapis and somthing

eles(I forgot). Anyways once you have those head back out and continue left

down the stairs. Enter the door and then head once again to the left. Now

equip your Dragon Slayer and kill the Dragon Zombie, and then head to the

right. You will then have to slash at the crystal again to make it glow,

and when you do you will get a 12000 Experience Bonus. After that head

back to where the Elevator was but, this time there will be a pentagram

where the Manticore was standing. It will ask you if you want to warp, so

just choose the top answer. This will warp you to a new area. 



   Walk to the right for two screen and then take the stairs that lead up.

Now walk to the left for two screens and you will be in a room that has 

three treasure chests. The first conatins the Transformation Gem, the other

has an Ether Scepter and the last contains the Timer Ring. Now that you

have the Transformation Gem this dungeon is a breeze(if you were playing

in Normal). But, Because we are in Hard we can't get an Orihalcon just

yet. So that just makes the Dungeon that much tougher. Since you can't make

any good items with just the Transformation Gem, I will continue.



   Once you are done with those items, head to the Save Point that was near 

the two crystal statues. There will be a warp by it. Save your game and 

then head into the warp. You will now be in a room that has two chests on 

the right. Take the chests and then head to the left. 



   Rezard will welcome the Goddess Valkyrie. He will say that it looks like

you have backed him up into a corner. Valkyrie will walk towards him and

Rezard will be talking about how many months has he waited to become the

smartest. Rezard will then says that Valkyrie looks very lovely. Rezard

will then cast a spell that makes him disappear. Valkyrie will notice that

he is Teleporting and in shock wonders how he can use that spell. Rezard

then says that in time Valkyrie and he will be the same. Rezard talks about

how he plans to use peoples spirits to make himself a God. Valkyrie will

be speechless at this. Rezard then repeats himself and says that he has

a weapon for this too. Rezard the reappears farther away from Valkyrie.

He asks Valkyrie is an Elf can become a God then he should be able to

too. He then tells Valkyrie that he will be that same as her. Valkyrie asks

if he really thinks that all this can work. Rezard says that he 

understands. Valkyrie then goes on to say that she won't allow him to turn

anymore Souls into Homosclosus and harm Elves. Rezard will say that 

Valkyrie is observant and says that one day they will be the same. Valkyrie

will say that Rezard is insane and that she will have to kill him. Rezard

then disappears as Valkyrie tries to Slash at him, but Valkyrie was 

actually aiming at the tank that had the Elf Girl in it. The tank will then

drain out. Rezard will then say that it looks like he will have to use some

of his abilities. You then get in a fight.

Strategy:This Boss battle is much Harder in Hard. You won't have the

         Advantage of being able to Celestial Astral/Meteo Swarm 

         everything. So what you have to do is use Clinchers and take out

         the Dragon Tooth Warriors first. The work on Rezard. The problem

         is, that Rezard can now kill you with his Celestial Astral. So

         you have to be careful of it. If you want, you can use the Dragon

         Slayer to take out both of the Warriors quickly. Anyways much 

         tougher than in Normal.



   After the battle Rezard will start to teleport and as he does he

tells you that he looks forward to meeting you again. Valkyrie will tell

him not to run away and then asks him again if he really thinks that Gods

and Humans can be the same and as that they can't. Rezard will say that 

was an interesting thought. Then he tells Valkyrie one day He and she will

exsist in the same as the same. Valkyrie then says that they can never

be the same since Odin is their Father(Not Father in that since, but closer

to meaning leader). Rezard then says who knows, one day they might fall in

love. Valkyrie will tell him that he is disgusting. Rezard will then say

that he will see her later. The screen will go blank and Valkyrie thinks

about that comment about Rezard and Valkyrie one day them being the same. 



   Valkyrie will now walk into a place that has tons of people in capsules.

Valkyrie will wonder what this place is. She will then wonder how that man

could have done this. Valkyrie then goes up and starts breaking the 

Capsules. Valkyrie will break to of them and just as she is about to smash

the third one she sees somthing and notices that it is a child. Valkyrie 

then wonders why...



   You will now be on the world map and have finshed everything that you

can do in this chapter. Now just sleep for the rest of the time(or if

you are more productive than I am, go into The Tower of Rezard Valis and

gain some more levels). Anyways Frei will then come and greet you.

   After you have sent up Yumeru, it is time to get on with the Events. Use

your Soul Concentration and you will be told to head to Flansburg.

Meltina

   A Man in a robe will be standing in the middle of the Magic School. A

Woman will then walk by him. The Man(Titled "Magic School Graduate") will

call out for Meltina. The Man will wonder what Meltina could possibly be

doing at this time. Meltina says that she is going to go out and look for

love with Mr. Right. The Man will be shocked at this. Meltina will then

say that was a joke. Meltina will then ask the Man what he is doing. The

Man won't answer at first and then says that Princepal Rolenta hasn't been

seen. Meltina will wonder about this. Meltina will then walk off the 

screen. She will be thinking about Rezard Valis and says that she isn't in

the mood for killing, but you have to do what you have to do.



   Meltina will now be in what appears to be a Labratory. Meltina will

say that it doesn't seem like there was any death here. She will then 

thank Rezard and blow a kiss. Meltina will start walking over to a 

container she will say that today it is pretty chilly. Meltina will then

walk into the machine and next thing you know she will be tranported to

Rezard's Tower. Meltina will walk through the tower when she realizes that

the entire Tower is giving Magic Power. Meltina will then wonder if this

writing could have anything to do with it, as she walks up to it. Meltina

will be supprised that they are the Ruin Literature. She will then note

that he has Volume 4, Volume 14 and Volume 22. Meltina will wonder what

he(Rezard) would need all of this Towers Power for. Meltina will now be

in right outside Rezards Lab when wonders what those noises are. She then

notices a book by Rezards. She walks over to it and opens it, but can't

understand any of it. Meltina will now walk into Rezards Lab and will see

the thing in the Container and realize that it is a Man Made Body. Meltina

will say that's cruel and then notes that it is a Homosclosus. She then 

wonders what he would need with a little girl. Meltina then realizes that

he must be expermenting with transformations. Meltina then powers up a 

spell that turns the child inside into a crystal. 



   You will now see Meltina at home sitting down for a drink. She will

say that the Rezard she knew would have been planning somthing better. 

Rezard will say that he is sorry as he warps in. Meltina will say that it

has been a long time and offers Rezard a drink. Rezard will walk over for

the drink and as the pour it, Meltina wants to know where he ever got

his hands on that power. Rezard will say that spell is a tough question to 

answer. Meltina will wonder what he has done, and why has he changed. 

Rezard will ask what that means. Meltina then hits him with the glass.

Rezard will say that he can't answer that. Meltina will then ask why

he said he would never change. She then goes on to say that she hates him.

Rezard then answers saying that he posses the Sage Stone. Meltina will

not believe him, and then Rezard says that she could have read it on Page

100 of the book she was reading. After a while Rezard says that he would

like a favor of Meltina. Meltina will ask what he would need her for. 

Rezard then asks Mel is she would like to go make Homosclosus with him.

Meltina will eventually give in. And a message will come up on the screen

saying that Meltina only did that to find out what Rezard is up to.



  You will be back in the first Labratory and Rezard will ask if she really

wants to do this. Meltina says that she would like to gain more Magic 

Power like those from the Yaggdrasil Forest. Rezard will say that Mel 

hasn't changed much. Meltina will say that Rezard hasn't changed much 

either. A message on the screen will say that what Meltina saw next seems 

like a dream. Both Rezard and Mel will walk over to that child and Meltina 

will ask if this is a Homosclosus and that it all seems like a dream. 

Rezard will not say much. She then goes on to say that if this works it 

would turn this person it to someone really incredible. Rezard will say 

nothing. Rezard then says he would like to speak with Mel about the 

Yaggdrasil Forest. Meltina then wonders if it is about the Elves.



   You will now be in the Yaggdrasil Forest. Rezard will say that they are

here. Meltina will say this is impossible. Rezard will say that ordinarily

it would be. Meltina will then wonder what happened to all of the Elves.

She then notes that there is nothing in the forest and calls Rezard a 

monster. Rezard then says that it bother him. Meltina will be supprised at

that and asks him why. Rezard will say its because anything the Elves knew

has been lost. Meltina will note the the Yagdrasil Tree is still and as

long as it is the world will never die and the journey will continue. 

Rezard agrees saying that there is much Humans don't know. Meltina will say

he sounds like a Nature Teacher. Rezard will say that he might...a little.

Rezard then says that once his Labratory turns out Homosclosus he says

that it will be quite amusing . Meltina will wonder what that means. A 

message comes up from Rezard talking about how Elves and Humans and Gods

inhabit this world and how with his Weapon of God it will be the same.

As you approach the Elf Village Meltina will be wondering about somthing.

Rezard will explain that Elfs and Gods are very similar. And so if he can

give birth to a God then...Meltina understands. Rezard then explains that

Odin is a Half-Elf. Meltina will wonder where he learned that. Rezard will

then explain that he spoke with those Gods who know him. Meltina will 

wonder how Rezard was able to talk to the Gods. Rezard will explain that

right now Odin is in the middle of a battle. Meltina says that she can't

fully understand what he is saying.



   You will now see Rezard in front of the Yaggdrasil Tree. Rezard will

tell Odin that he is Weak for a God. Rezard will then say that is why

they need a new king. Rezard asks Mel if she understands this. Meltina

will say that she understands a little. Rezard then says that the only

difference between a Human and a God is that the God has a perfect body.

Meltina will then say that Odin is wrong if he really a Half-Elf. Rezard

will agree and the say that same things as above and continues saying 

that's why they need a stronger King. You will be back in the Lab as Rezard

talks about how Humans can become Gods with the help of the Elves and the

Knowledge of the Yaggdrasil Tree. That's why with the spirit of a Human

and the Knowledge of the Elf they can become a God. Rezard then asks if

Meltina knows what a Homosclosus is. Meltina will say that it is a mix

of Human and Elf. Rezard will say she is right, a Homosclosus is a Half

Elf. Rezard then says once he can make the right Homosclosus he will 

transfer his soul into it and become a God. The screen will then go blank

and come up again. Rezard says that is all that it to his plan. He then

walks away saying that he has to get back and warps out. 



   You will now see Meltina walking the streets of Flansburg. She will be

thinking about what Rezard said. Meltina will say that it could never be.

You will hear Rezard and he will ask Mel if she desires to be a god.

Rezard then goes on by saying that the Homosclosus is the only way he can

figure out. Rezard will then say that she would have made a Lovely Godess,

but Rezard will be the only God. Meltina will wonder where Rezard is. You 

will see Rezard warp into the Labratory. Rezard will then say that he knows

what Mel is up to. Rezard then says that she knows too much, and this

isn't a dream. You will then see Rezard power up a spell. A FMV will show 

how Rezard froze the entire Labratory. You will then see Rezard outside 

saying that he will miss you...and then starts laughing. Rezard then 

teleports out. You will now see Valkyrie with Meltina. Valkyrie asks 

Meltina what she is doing with Rezard. Meltina will laugh at the thought.

Then Valkyrie wonders if Meltina wouldn't like to work for her. Meltina 

will think about it and, eventually give in. After that you will be on the 

World Map. I find that Meltina will last quite a while as a character. 

Anyways, now you use your Soul Concentration again and you will be told to 

goto Chevron.

Rucio

-----

 

   You will see a man sitting by himself on the steps when a group of 

kids come out. The boy in the lead will ask if there is anything wrong.

The Man(Rucio) will say that there is nothing wrong. The children will

then walk away and Rucio will be thinking. He talks about how the children

shouldn't worry about him. The scene will changed to that of a small

house. A Woman(Clair) asks what they made. Rucio will say at first

say 220, but then arrives at 230. The man on the far left(Baren) will say

that he was sure effecient.  The Other Man(Rusty) will say he is an Idiot.

Rucio will then say that he is glad that he used to his strength to help

people today. You will now see Clair and Rucio by themselves. Clair will

say that Baren and Rusty are late. A Townsman will enter the door and says

that they need to get out of here, asking if they know a Baren. Rucio will

wonder about this. The Townsman will say that Baren stole from the Royal

Family and that's why they killed him...Clair will be in shock. The 

Townsman will talk about how this is a bad situation and says that they

are all going to die. The Townsman continue by saying that the Royal Family

is sending the 3rd Group after them. Rucio will be in shock at this. The

Townsman will say to get out of there, saying The 3rd Group has a bad

reputation. Clair will ask what happened to Rusty. The Townsman will say

he is alive and that he is getting out of here. He then leaves. Rucio says

that they have to get out of here. Then Clair will ask about the Children.

Rucio says that Clair should go get the children, while he distracts them.

Clair will try and get him to stop, but Rucio contines by asking her to get

all of the Townspeople into the forest. 



   You will now see Clair on the groud crying as the City has been leveled.

Clair will talk about how cruel the 3rd is. Clair then continues by saying

that she wants to die. Rucio will tell her not to talk like that. You will

then see an Archer take aim and shoot at Rucio. Clair will cry out for

Rucio. Rucio will then be hit and pulls out his sword. The screen will then

flash and you will now see Rucio in the lap of Clair. Rucio will ask if 

this place will be okay. Clair will be wondering why. Rucio says it looks

like she will stay here. Clair wonders what he is talking about, and asks

him if he trying to run away. Rucio will say she is wrong. He goes on to

say that his place was Death a long time ago. Clair will say that she 

should be right beside him. Rucio will then say that he is sorry. Rucio

will then die as Clair lets out a giant cry. You will now see Valkyrie

listening as a Child calls for his Mother, and cries about the pain. 



   You will now see Valkyrie with Rucio. Rucio will ask who see is and then

realize that it is the War Goddess Valkyrie. Valkyrie then asks if Rucio

would like to help her. Rucio eventually gives in. Rucio will then wonder

what will happen to Clair. Valkyrie will say that she will be okay. And

you will then see Clair standing on a Mountain, looking at the sky. You

will now be back on the World Map. Now put Rucio in your party at once and

you will soon understand why. He is an Incredible Fighter. Anyways use

your Soul Concentration and then head to the Forgotten Caves.

   This is a good oppertunity to gain Levels for Meltina and Rucio. You

will probably have them die the first couple battles. But, eventually

they will be strong enough to survive. Anyways once you have killed all

of the Monster, use your Soul Concentration. You will now have to goto

Valnova.

Badluck

-------



   As the scene opens you will see Badluck underneath a bridge at night.

He will be wondering if this is where he is supposed to be. Badluck will

then walk to the center of the screen and wonder where they are. A Voice

will say that they are already here. Badluck will be shocked at this. A

Man in black will then jump from the top of the bridge and slash Badluck.

The Assassin will then tell Badluck he got what he deserved. Badluck will

go down to his knees. The screen will then flash and you will be in a 

flashback. An Old Woman(Jenna)will be standing outside a house. She will

be yelling up to the window wondering how long it will be before you get

to work. A younger Badluck will walk to the window and asks what he would

know about work and then says he doesn't have the time. Jenna will wonder

what he is talking about, saying that he should go look for work now.

Badluck will then eventually give in. As Badluck walks out the front door

the scene will go into color. Badluck will ask Jenna what he would be able

to do in times of War. Jenna will say that he answered his own question

and that she can take care of the house. Badluck will ask about those

flowers. Jenna will say that it is called a Cactus. Badluck will wonder

about this Cactus. Jenna will say that they are a plant that will give

a flower. Badluck will talk about how it is sharp and Jenna will reply that

is how it protects itself. Badluck will say that he understands, it is just

he would grow a different plant. Badluck then goes on to wonder how he is

going to make any Gold. Jenna will tell him to get involved in the War.

Badluck will then slowly agree. You then see Badluck walk into a room

with alot of people and asks if there is anyway he can make a lot of

gold quickly. The Woman(Knowen as a "Female Agent") will wonder why he

would come here. Badluck will then say that he is going to start the

Valnova Thieves Guild and then asks who wants to join. The Female Agent

will say that she needs proof of this and he should return when he has it.

Badluck says that he will be back and then leaves. You will now see Badluck

standing outside of the building and wonders how a man is supposed to make

any Gold. You will now see an injured Badluck limping along. Badluck says

he will have to make this brief. Badluck will make it to the house and 

wonders if they are there(this is the first time you see just how injured

Badluck is). The view of the house will change and Badluck will kneel by

the flowers. He will then wonder why he would come here when he is going

to die... Badluck then asks for someone to help him with the pain.



   The screen will go dark and Badluck will note this. A voice will then

say that he won't die, and that she will help him with the pain. Badluck

will wonder who he called. You will then see another Badluck, except this

one is lifeless. Badluck will wonder what is going on. And if he is dead

or alive. Valkryie will warp in and Badluck will ask who the hell are you.

Badluck will then realize and become very happy, when he thinks he will

get to go to Valhalla. Valkyrie will tell him he is wrong. Badluck will

ask whats going on and if you are really Valkyrie. Badluck then goes on

to say that when he dies you are supposed to take him to Valhalla. Valkryie

will say ordinarly yes, But... Badluck will inquire about this. Valkyrie

will then explain that she doesn't need him. Badluck will say that he 

he should be taken. Valkyrie says that she won't present him to Odin. And

goes on to say Badluck can spend his time as a Soldier of Hell. Badluck

will tell Valkyrie to wait, saying that he doesn't want to goto Hell.

He then goes on about how he doesn't want to die. Valkyrie then says that

she just came to talk to him. Badluck will be a little more relieved and

asks what she wants to talk about. Badluck will say it must be about the

Old Man. Valkyrie will wonder about this Old Man. Badluck will say that

he killed him. Valkyrie will then tell him that he is going to Hell. 

Badluck will then ask for Valkyrie to help him saying that he hasn't done

many bad things except being a Spy, a Thief, and chasing Women. Valkyrie

will say she is disgusted. Valkyrie will then tell him he still has some

time left. Badluck will tell her to wait. Valkyrie will then say that he

doesn't have much time left. You will then see a bud and a message 

will come up on the screen talking about how the Cactus will flower in the

Moonlight etc.(i.e. Metaphor for Badluck). You will then see the bud

bloom into a beautiful flower. Badluck will realize what she is trying to

do.



   You will then hear Badluck talk about how he was different 3 or 4 years

ago. You will now see some cells while Badluck talks about how he taking

a Job from Valnova. Badluck then says that he will make this quick and 

then talks about his job and who he worked for(not important). You will 

then look at a poor town while Badluck talks about how he was sent there.

He then talks about how they didn't have much to eat and then talks about

how it is near Valnova. He continues by saying he stayed with someone, but

he couldn't remeber there name. Badluck then stops and wonders if you want

him to keep telling the story. You will now see Badluck next to a Horse

with a Cart. He then talks about how he didn't want to take the job, but

he needed the money. You will then see Badluck and a little girl in a 

Graveyard. Badluck will talk about how the kid and him talked about the 

weather. Anyways this continues saying that he never had a home to goto.

Anyways you will then see Badluck with Valkyrie and Badluck realize that

he has been messing up his life. Valkyrie will then talk about because of

the Girl bad luck can be reborn. Badluck will wonder if it is really true

and Valkyrie asks him if he wants to go. Badluck will say yes. You will

then see the injured Badluck outside of his house. Jenna will then walk

out the door and see him...



   Now use your Soul Concentration. You will then be told to goto the

Archdain Ruins.

Archdain Ruins

--------------



   First off, If you made it through Rezard's Tower(which you did) this

is a breeze. Start by walking to the right. You just as you approach the

gate it will open for you. Head to the right and in the first room 

climb the stair that lead to a platfrom at the top. On this platform you

can find a chest containing a Wild Bird Talon. You will also notice that

whenever you open a chest you will get attacked by a monster. Anyways head

to the right. Open the chest and you will get a Reduce Power. After you 

have that head to the right and you can find a chest that has the skill;

Stun Magic. When you have that go back to the room that had the Reduce 

Power and take the route down. Jump to the platform and you will find a

chest that contains a Night Shade. Now jump up to the chain and use that

to get to the platfrom on the left, from which you can jump to the right.

Enter the door and in this room you can grab a Eye of Heaven and in that

chest you can find a good skill, Resist Magic. Once you have that take the

door to the right. If you climb to the top you can find a room that has

a Save Point. Save and then take the Bottom door on the right. You will

now be in a room that has a bunch of moving platforms. In this room, jump

on the platforms and when you reach the top you should see a chest(it 

contains a Stun Check). Now take the door that is near the Stun Check. Head

throught the door that leads up and you will be in a room where you can 

pick up some Plant Seed, and Estock, and the skill Darkness Arrow. Once

you have those leave the room and head to the right. Fall down and take the

route that leads to the left. Now climb up the stairs and you can find a

Resist Damage, Lapis and an Ether Scpeter. Head back to the room that had

the Platfroms. Now Fall Back down and take the door near the bottom right. 

Go up twice. Now head to the right and a door will shut on you. You can 

find 3 chests in here. They contain a Zebori, a Reduce Power, and a 

Crystal. Kill all the enemies and you will then get a 10000 Experience 

Bonus, and the door will open. Now if you can do the Crystal Jump(using

Crystal Dust to make a platform in mid-air) then just jump up and you will

be at a Save Point. Now work your way to the top of that room and you

will be able to find a Combo Jewel and a Demon Slayer(watch out, the

chests will cause you to become dizzy for a while(i.e. Controls are now

Backwards). Anyways once you have those make sure that you have the 

a Stun Check for all of your fighters or other wise you will lose this

battle. Now head to the left. 



   When you enter you will see a 3 Soldiers and a woman chained up inside

a gem. Valkyie will ask them if they are Soldiers from Hell and then says

that she won't allow them to take this Womans Soul. The Reaper Lords will

and Valkyrie will talk a little bit and then it is time to fight.

Strategy:You will lose this battle if you do not have a Stun Check for all

         fighters. The Reaper Lord will almost always(95%) manage to stun

         you characters. And that is the hardest part of this battle. They

         will still do a lot of damage, but so long as the don't stun you

         it is okay. Now this battle is harder than in Normal since you

         can't fall back on a Celestial Astral/Meteo Swarm. But, You should

         mange to survive quite easily.



   After the battle you will find 3 Artifacts. If your Estimated Worth

is 100 or above I say take them all. They are all very good. One is the

Star Guard(keep). The next is the Seitsue:"Advantia"(Leave, you will get

a better staff soon. And then the Seii:"Britannia Garb"(Keep). When

you have done all of that you will get a message saying that you go a

80000 Bonus Experience. If you look behind the frozen woman you can then

find a Mighty Check. After that head to the left and you will be able

to find a Beast Slayer. After that head all the way back to where you found

the first Reduce Power. Now this time head to the left and head up. Now

grab all the treasures in that room and then leave for the exit. 



   Once you are on the World Map, use your Soul Concentration again. It

will now take you back to the Archdain Ruins.

Gray

----



   When you enter you will Selia walking along the enterence. She will be

thinking about Kashel and about how he told her she can't just drift like

the wind. She will continue to walk and then think she should have Sold 

out like Aluze did. Selia will then hear thoughts By Amy and Kashel. And

eventually she will think the only reason she is like this is her revenge

to Grey. You will now see Selia camping by a fire and she will be asked by

voices if she ever plans to return and that she can't drift. Selia will 

then wonder about Kashel, Baltos, Raulph, and Amy, and will then cry. Now

you will see Selia standing before the gates of the Archdain Ruins. She is

wonder why she is going to do this. She wonders if it is because she is

a woman and then thinks she has no friends left. She then starts walking

saying that she knows everyone will give her luck. Selia will enter the

room where you faught the Reaper Lords and call out for Gray. Selia then

wonders why he won't answer. Gray then notes it is Selia. Selia then says

that she came her to defeat him for Kashel, Amy and everyone who has died.

Selia continues by saying that this day Lemia died. Selia then holds her

sword at Grey's throat and asks him what he has to say. There will be a 

long pause and Selia will drop her sword. She will wonder what she was 

saying. She will fall on Grey and ask him to say that he didn't kill 

Lemina. Selia then continues by telling him to say that she did it. As

she falls down she says that it was her fault. Grey will say that he is

sorry. Then all of a sudden the Suit of Armor will fall and there will be

nothing there. Selia will then ask where Grey is.



   You will now see Valkyrie with Grey. Valkyrie will say that even though

he doesn't have a body, she can still summon his soul. Grey says that he

doesn't want to do anything. Valkyrie will then say that she needs Souls

to help them. Grey will be very hesitent, and Valkyrie will realize the

he is a Sword of God. Anyways you will now have Gray in your party. Once

you are back on the World Map, use your Soul Concentration. You will be

told to head to the Castle of Flames.

Castle of Flames

----------------



   Start walking to the right. You will immdiatly notice that there will

be a "fire rain" happening. So what you have to do is run to the right

and try not to get hit(and grab the Eye of Heaven). There are two 

techniques that I have found most effective for getting through the Fire

Rain. The first is to slide. And the second is to swing your sword. And

Actually, a combonation of the two is best. Anyways when you get to the

next screen walk all the way to the right until you can fall down a hole.

After you fall down, head to the right. There will be a little orb there.

Search it and the pick the to answer. The orb will light up and you will

get some experience for it. After you have that head to the right. When 

you get near the stairs some very fast moving monsters will come up, so 

be prepared. Walk all the way to the right and you can find a chest that

contains a Soul Slayer. When you have it, climb the stairs and head to the 

right. You can find a Shadow Servant in the chest. After you have it you 

will need to jump up where all that fire rain is. There is no easy way to 

get across this, so just take the damage. After you have done that walk to 

the left and a passage that wasn't there before will have opened. So walk 

inside and now head to the right. This next section I must admit that there

is probably a better way to do this, but hey, this works. First climb down 

the stairs and head to the left. You can find an Estock. Now go back up and

jump to the left. Grab the chest and then the only way that I figured to 

get these chests is to fall down, but attach a crystal on the next platform. 

I then proceeded to slash the crystal and a solid crystal would fall down 

that I could stand on(without taking damage). I then repeated this for all 

of the treasures and I then went into the door near the far right. In this

room, you first objective is to get all the way to the left and grab the

Lotus Gem. You can do this by falling down that long shaft, but try and

attach a crystal so next time you won't have to fall. After you have done

that just land on the Crystal and make your way up. Then you can grab the

Lotus Gem. Then what you have to do is get to the middle of the room. You

probably won't be able to make the jump. What I find is easiest is to 

attach a crsytal so you can make it. Once you make it, you will get 40000

Experience for doing it. Now walk to the left and take the ladder down. 

In the next room just fall down, you shouldn't get hit by any of the flames

that come out of the wall. When you reach the bottom, take the stairs that 

lead down again. Now in the next section, you job is to get to the upper 

left. You can do this by using a series of crystal. After you get up to 

that room, do the samething that you did with the Orb before(and you will 

get some exp). Now just jump near the middle of the room and you can find 

a door that will lead up. Now, head to the right and save. And also make 

sure that your Mage has Icicle Edge as the spell. After you have that head 

to the left and then up that little door. Now you will be in a room with a\

pot to the left and a sort of wall to the right. What you have to do is 

throw the pot underneath the wall and then follow it. When you are 

underneath the wall you will step on a switch that will activate a Fire 

Rain. Now what you have to do is hold the pot over your head. Now try and 

get 10 of the Fire Rain to hit it. When you do you will get some EXP and 

the pot will break. You will then automatically walk over to the right, 

where a monster is waiting. Valkyrie will say that this must be the Monster

that set this castle on fire. The Fire Element will say he cares nothing

about human souls, just they hate Odin. Valkyrie will get mad at this

and eventually you will enter a battle.

Strategy:Well...I found this battle to be easy. Just use an Icicle Edge and

         then make sure that you max out your gauge so you can use your

         Clinchers. Then when you use Icicle Edge again, the battle should

         for the most part be over, after of course your fighters use their

         Clinchers. Delta Stike is great here.



   After the battle you can grab three artifacts. Make sure to keep the

Infernous. After you have all of those you will get 120000 Experience. 

Now head back out to the World Map, and you will find that you are done

for this chapter. Now if you want the "Good" Ending. You will want to 

send up Rucio now. When you do this scene will take place...

Minor Spoiler

   *Don't read this section unless until you either do it, or otherwise

it will provide a Minor Spoiler to the game. I'm just warning you.

   You will see Valkyrie and Rucio sitting on top of a Mountain. Valkyrie

will say that Rucio's Soul seems very uneasiness and wonders what is going

on. Rucio will stay silent. Valkyrie will say that he didn't answer her,

and then says that no matter what she will never forget him. Rucio will 

then look up and Valkyrie asks him what is wrong. Rucio wonders if he can

return to that Village once more. Valkyrie will say why not.



   You now see Valkyrie and Rucio walking through a village. Rucio will

say that this Village makes him feel alive. Rucio will keep walking till

he reaches a clearing when he tells Valkyrie this is where they met. They

will then keep walking until they reach the last house. Valkyrie will ask if

this is the one. Rucio says if he remebers right that is the girls house.

He continues by saying that this must be Platina's house. Rucio will talk

about how he couldn't say anything to help Platina her problems. Rucio

will then tell Valkyrie about how he and Platina tried to run away. He then

continues by talking about how he was weak and didn't know what he was 

doing. 



   Valkyrie and Rucio will be walking through a forest. Rucio will say that

they both ran into the Darkness. Rucio will then grab Valkyrie's hand and

drags her along. He will then say they eventually reached this spot. Rucio

and Valkyrie will be standing in a very beautiful valley. Rucio then tells

her to fell that breeze. You will then see Valkyrie remove her helmet and

let the air blow through her hair. Rucio will then walkover to Valkyrie

and says she reminds him of someone. Valkyrie asks if it is the girl. Rucio

will say this is where Platina died, because he couldn't do anything. 

Valkyrie will then asks Rucio if she still reminds him of the girl. Rucio

will say that she is the image of Platina, but he doesn't feel any Love

towards Valkyrie. Valkyrie will then kiss Rucio and you will see a close-up

of the shocked Rucio. 



   After that you will see Valkyrie thinking that she must have really 

looked like the girl. Valkyrie will then drop her head and say that Gods

and Humans can not love each other. Valkyrie will then give a but and then

remove her helmet. Then she says that she is glad that she revived him. 

And the scene will then fade...

   These are optional events you can do. You don't have to do them, but

they will generally add more to the story/make you stronger/get you a

better ending.

Infinity Rod

------------



   If you have Meltina in your party head to Flansburg. If you go to her 

room a scene will take place. Meltina will come out and note that 

everything has been turned to ice. Except for this as she finds the 

Infinity Rod. The Infinity Rod is a good weapon if you don't have the 

Seitsue:"Unicorn Horn". Otherwise this weapon is out classed as it only 

increases your MP by 880(vs.1200) and it has a 10% chance of breaking.

Handmade Bandana

----------------



   If you have Badluck in your party and you head back to Camille Village 

and then go to where you got the Naken:"Vain Slay" you can get another 

item. When you do this Badluck will come out and ask Valkyrie if he can

be alone for a little while. Valkyrie will say nothing. Badluck will then

say that he is waiting for someone. Valkyrie will then leave and you will

hear Badluck shout for them to come out. A Woman will then come on the

screen. Eventually there will be a scene where Badluck attempts to kill the

Girl, but can't bring himself to do it. You will now see Badluck with 

Valkyrie. Badluck will explain that he's not such a bad guy and says he has

this for you. You will then get the Handmade Bandana. This reduces Holy

Damage by 50%.



   Once you have done these, just waste out the rest of the Periods.

   Frei will greet you and then gets right to telling you how the battle

    After you are finshed messing arround with your Characters, at the

the start of this Chapter you can buy one of the most important Items. You,

will however need to sell alot of stuff to get this. Once you get 100000MP

go and buy the Orihalcon. After you have it, change it into the "High-Level

Transformation Gem". Once you have it start making some better weapons.

   Anyways When you are done with that, use your Soul Concentration. You

will be told to go to Firan.

Shiho

-----



   The scene will open up with a girl being escorted by Two Samurai near

a crowd of people. The Girl(Shiho) will be crying, saying that she wasn't

strong enough to help. The Wife will wonder if she is really the Singing

Princess, why would she let anyone die. The Wife will then say it is 

Shiho's fault and that she is evil. The screen will the go black and a 

voice will be telling about how Shiho has the ability to give courage to

other, but she can never forget all of the things she has seen. You will

now see Shiho on a platfrom surround by Soldiers. Shiho will be asking

for good fortune. The scene changes and you will see 2 Red Samurai on a

desert, battlefield. One of the Samurai will say that Firan's Soldiers

are very strong. The Other will say that it is because of the Singing 

Princess, so they need to stop her singing. The Other Samurai will inquire

as to what that means. Now a Third Samurai will walk on the screen and tell

the other two that the Enemy Army is on the move. You will now see Shiho

again and a Soldier will tell her not to stop Singing. The Soldier will

the slap Shiho and tell her to start singing. The Soldier will then start

kicking her and the screen will go black.



   You will now see that all of the Black Soldiers are dead and a Red

Samurai will be standing next to Shiho. He asks if she is the one that has

the Magic Voice and asks why she stopped. Shiho will note that it is a Red

Samurai. Sohou will then wonder how she can see him. Shiho will explain

that when she was born she found that she had that ability. She then goes

on to say that the God's must have given it. Sohou then asks Shiho what

she dreams of. She then answer saying that she wants to die. Sohou is about

to slash her, but he then can't and drops his sword. He then removes his

mask. Sohou then picks up Shiho and takes her. The screen will fade and

you will then see Sohou and Shiho walk up to his leader. Sohou will say

that he captured the Singing Princess. The Leader will walk over and say

that she is a pretty girl. He then will slash at Shiho. Shiho asks

Sohou-sama to help her, but then dies. Sohou will ask his leader, why he

did that, she was his friend. The Leader then say that they can't have 

someone arround who has that kind of power. The Screen will then fade.



   Shiho is a bit more powerful than Meltina. Anyways once you are done

use your Soul Concentration and you will be take to the Abondened City of

Dyban.

Abandoned Town of Dyban

-----------------------



   Before I get started I want to warn you that the enemies in here are

fairly strong. So I recommend you use a party of Strong Characters. 

You will need to be strong enough to take the kind of damage the monsters

give here. Now on with walkthrough.



   When you enter Dyban you will see a Man right next to what appears to 

be a Guillotine. That Man(Balbrosa) will be shouting, saying that there

aren't many more that can feel his love(i.e. He wiped out the Village). 

Then wonders when more will come. Balbrosa will then start to scream in 

pain and shout out the names Darius, Gain, and Woluce. He will then wonder

what turned him into such a coward. He then wonders why he can't ever forget

about it. You will then see Valkyrie and she will walk to Balbrosa. 

Balbrosa will then notice Valkyrie and say that it is the Demon Kings 

Servant; Valkyrie. Balbrosa will then start talking about how Destiny 

doesn't matter and about how they rule the Country without it. Valkyrie

will wonder what he is talking about since he destroyed the Country.

Balbrosa will say it doesn't matter, since they make the decisions now.

A weird light will then surround Balbrosa. He will then transform into a

Suit of Armor that carries a Giant Sword(But has no Head). You will then 

get into a battle with "New" Balbrosa.

Strategy:This battle is very difficult. Balbrosa does a ton of damage and

         can cause all sorts of Status Ailments. That is why you need to

         take him out in one shot. Which you can do if you have a strong

         party. Just attack on your first turn and then use the Clinchers. 

         If you do that(and they all have strong weapons) Balbrosa will

         be taken out in one shot. Otherwise you may have difficulty 

         winning if you fight a long battle. 



   After the battle Balbrosa will be saying that even in spite of the pain

he is not going anywhere. He then says that he won't die. Now it is time

for round two. Just review the strategy I have and you should be find for

the second time. After the second battle you will see Balbrosa dissappear

in a puff of smoke. Walk to the left and Balbrosa will some how be back.

Balbrosa will then talk about how he will stop you and about how he won't

die. Valkyrie will then say that she understands, This is only part of 

Balbrosa. And in order to kill him they will need to kill the other parts

as well. So now your task is to kill the other parts of Balbrosa.



   Start by walking to the left and take the path that leads down. Then

start heading to the right and eventually you will see some monsters. 

Valkyrie will wonder how the Undead got here. Anyways start heading to the

right. Also you may get lucky and get a Full Plate, which will really help.

Anyways walk to the right until you get to another screen. You should now

be in a room that has some stairs that go down and then there is a way to

the right. Take the way to the right for two screens. Kill that Evil Eye and

then head back and take the stairs that lead down. Now walk to the right

and you will reach a room that has some stairs leading down, take them. 

Now walk to the left for two screens and you will reach a room that has

a pentagram on the floor and some crystals around it. Valkyrie will wonder

if this could be a Time Machine. The screen will go black and you will then

hear some laughing. A voice will tell you this is Amusing. 

Valkyrie will asks what a is so amusing about it. The Voice will say that 

it can change time. Valkyrie will say that she understands. You will now 

see Valkyrie and she will wonder what is going on with this thing. A Light

will then lift Valkyrie into the air and she will say this is bad. The

screen will the go black and message will come up on the screen tell you

(note that I shortened this quite considerably) that you are going to go

to a time before the Earth Gods. When you can see again, you will notice

that the crystals have broken. So start walking to the right. When you 

enter that room Valkyrie will look down the hall and note that this looks

like the inside of a castle. So walk to the right till you reach the 

stairs. Climb them and then start walking to the left until you can take

the stairs up. On the next screen you will see some dead soldiers bodies

lying on the ground. Anyways walk to the all the way to the left and when

you get out Valkyrie will notice that it is a City. Valkyrie will then feel

some people and quickly changes clothes. You will then hear a Womans Voice

talk about how these people will get No Mercy. A Man will say yes. You will

then see what looks like Valkyrie in Black walk by. With Rourry and Meltina

in tow. The Female Swordsman look-alike, will ask where Balbrosa is. The

Meltina look-alike will say that Aluze currently has him. The Rourry 

look-alike will say that they can't have three mages. The Mage will then 

talk about how this town will pay. The Female Swordsman will say that is 

right, but they have to get the king. The Valkyrie look-alike will tell 

the other two to go ahead. She will then wonder if that is Rennas. The 

Valkyrie Clone will then say that it can't be. The Real Valkyrie will then 

come out and wonders what Arlia would be doing here. Valkyrie then wonders 

if they could have used the Time Machine. You will now be free to explore 

the town.



   If you talk to the villagers they will all talk about how the King is

going to be sacrificed as an offering to Veriza. So, What you need to do

is to talk to all vistors. Also I just want to let you know that the first

house has two floors. If you are in a hurry you can easily miss that. Now 

head to the Time Machine. This time Valkyrie will note that it is broken 

and then wonder where they could have gone to. So now what you have to do 

is work your way to the top of the castle(this is the most boring part of 

all this.) Anyways when you reach the top head all the way to the left. 

Then go near the Bookshelf and press the O Button. It will ask you if you

flip the switch on the bookshelf. Choose the top answer;yes. The Bookshelf

will then move aside and reveal a passage, so walk inside it. When you

enter Valkyrie will ask if anyone is in here. She will continue by saying

that she isn't with the others. A Woman named Malbus will come out from

behind a statue and asks who you are. Valkyrie will then ask Malbus

what this strange room is for. Malbus will then introduce herself, and

say she is Balbrosa's Wife. She will then say that the King was taken

by three Mages. Malbus will then walk over to Valkyrie and pull out a 

crown. She will then want Valkyrie to take it. She then says that she

knows that you can stop it.



   The scene will then change to that of the Execution. You will see 

Rourry and Meltina in front and Rofar and Aluze next to the Guillotine. The

Fake Valkyrie(Arlia) will then come out and says that they should watch

what will happen to their King. The Guillotine will then drop... A message

will then come up about how ever since then they he wished to be King 

again. You will now see the Guillotine lit up by the Moonlight with 

Valkyrie standing next to the head of Balbrosa. Valkyrie will say that it 

is all over. Valkyrie will then pick up the head of Balbrosa and think

about him. Valkyrie will then wonder how see can put this together. Valkryie

then gets an idea. The screen will go black and you will then see Valkyrie

trying to figure out a way to get back. After that you will see Valkyrie

walk up to Balbrosa. She then tells him that the Queen has something to

give him. Balbrosa will be supprised at this. Valkyrie will then pull out

the crown and say this is it. Balbrosa will then say that you must have

gotten it from Malbus. Valkyrie will say that is right. Balbrosa will then

tranform back into his original shape. Valkyrie will then jump up and hand

him the crown. Balbrosa will grab it. Balbrosa will then go into a long

monologue about how he has dreamed about this for an Eternity(I shortened

this part up a lot, but that is the general just). He will then thank

you, The War Goddess Valkyrie, and then disappear. Valkyrie will then look

at the Guillotine and start to think about how Balbrosa thought it was her,

but wasn't and then will remeber that period. She will then say that you

Mage Spirits should come out. You will then see three Mages warp in. Dairus

will then say that Valkyrie is annoying. Woluce will then say this is the

second time you've stopped them. Darius then goes on saying about how they

had that Kings Soul. Gain will then say that you then freeded him. Woluce

will then say he has had enough of this. The go on and on like that and

eventually Valkyrie will say that she will meet them in the Castle.



   Now walk back to the castle. Now walk until you can take the stairs that

lead up. Now a little to your left will be a Save Point, Save. Then 

continue walking to the left. Enter the first door that leads down and you

can find an Eye of Heaven. Leave that room and keep heading until you can

take another door that leads down. Inside that room you can find a 

Dark Savior. Once you have that head back to the right and Save again. 

Now climb the stairs that lead to the right. In this room enter the first

door you see to find a Lancer. Now head to the right and climb that stairs.

Enter the first door and you can find the skill;Triple Distress. Now head

back out and keep going to the left. Take the next route that leads down

and you can find "The Neck of the Faceless Doll". Now head back to the hall

and keep going to the left. When you reach the Stairs take the left route

before you take the right route. Now head down the first door you see and

you can grab some Bolt Sake. Now head back out and keep going to the left.

Take the next door down and you can find an Evoke Feather(like you don't

already have 6000 of those already). Leave that room and keep heading to

the left. Take the stairs down and to the right and then enter the room

at the end of the hall. You can find a Estock and a Reflect Sorcery in 

here. Now head back all the way to those stairs and this time take it to

the right. Just walk right for one screen(there is nothing in the bottom

room) and take the stairs to the left. Walk to the left for one screen

and then take the door that leads down. In this room you can find an Ether

Scepter and a Nightshade. Head back out and continue to the left. Now

continue walking left as far as you can and you will find three chests.

One Contains the spell;Cross Airrade, the other has Concentration and the

last has a Naken:"Moon Phalax". Once you have those head back to the right.

Now head all the way to the Save Point. What your job is now is to use

crystals to be able to make it up to that Stain Glass Window to the top

left of the Save Point. When you can successfully break it you will recieve

a 35000 Experience Bonus. Now Jump up and walk through the hole that you

just created. Now start walking to the left until you can go up.



   When you enter this room, you will see the Three Mages sitting on top

of some pillars. Dairus will then welcome you. You then talk a little and

eventually one of them says that they will take your Soul. Valkyrie will

then say that is what she does. You will then get into a battle.

Strategy:This battle is made infinatly easier if you cast Reflect Sorcery.

         But, If you are strong enough you may not have to do it. Also the

         first person you need to get rid of is Dyne, since he will just

         keep reviving any other member that dies. Anyways this battle is

         one where you may have to try 2-3 times before you can defeat 

         them. Anyways just use your Clinchers on them all and eventually

         they will all die. 



   After the battle you can find two Artifacts. One is the Dulled Crown and

the other is the Kouyari:"Dragon Tyrannt". After the battle you will then 

receive a 180000 Experience Bonus. Now head back and save and then leave.



   Now press Start and this time it will tell you to head to Clairmonferan.

Jewel

   The scene will open and you will see two knights in a room. You will

then see Jewel begging for somthing not to be kept a secret. The Other 

Knight(Faran)will say that this is somthing others can't know about. Faran 

then goes on saying that it would be troublesome for people to know that 

there is a female Knight. Jewel then eventually gives in. Faran then says

that he had to change your name, so as not to make anyone supscious. 

Jewel will then say that is okay. The scene will now change to the inside

of a castle. Faran will be telling Jewel that her form is looking better.

Jewel will thank him for the complement. Faran will says that it is almost

like a man's...Jewel will ask him what he just said. Faran will then think

for a bit, and then apoligize. Jewel will then start thinking. Faran will

ask what is wrong. Jewel wonders where she is going to sleep for the night.

Jewel and Faran will then share a laugh. You will now be back in the room.

Jewel will be telling Faran that she will absolutly get Magnus. Faran will

tell her that she will have to get better. Jewel then starts shaking her

fist, saying that she will get her hands on him. The screen will flash

again and you will now see Jewel trying to thank Faran for all he has done.

Faran won't say anything and Jewel goes on about how he helped her. Jewel

will then say she is just a weak girl. Faran will tell her she is wrong.

Again the screen will flash and you will see Faran telling Jewel that the

Magnus and his Soldiers are coming, and that this is her chance. Jewel

asks if it is the same Magnus. Faran will say that it is. 



   You will now be in a different room in the castle and you will see Jewel

and Faran facing off against Magnus. Just before Jewel and Faran strike

Magnus puts up a Barrier. Faran will be supprised he can do that. Jewel

will say that there is no way they can break the barrier. A Magician will

then warp in and slowly lands on the floor. It then sends out a blast of

energy that drops everyone except Jewel. Magnus will ask why that spell

didn't take out that one. Jewel will then ask Magnus what he is doing here.

Magnus will note that it is a Subordinate of Faran. Magnus will the say

that he understands. He then says that he wasn't expecting that there would

be any Female Knights. Magnus then says that Jewel must be his lover or

somthing close to it. The Magician(J.D.Wallace) will say that she does have

a pretty face but, only a Man is useful. Jewel will then get mad and call

J.D. a monster. J.D. will say that it is probably closer to a cupid than

a monster. Jewel then says that she will kill J.D. At this point Valkyrie

warps in. Jewel will be supprised by it. Magnus will then say that it is

the War Goddess Valkyrie. Valkyrie will say that she sure isn't cupid.

J.D. will then say that it has been a long time. Valkyrie will then level

her sword at J.D. and say that she will destroy all the Undead. You will

then enter a battle.

Strategy:This battle doesn't need any strategy. If it takes you more than

         one round you are probably to weak for this point in the game. 

         Anyways if you need to just use your Clinchers and it will be over

         quick enough.



   After the battle Valkyrie will tell J.D. to leave. J.D. will then say 

that, that is sure supprising. Valkyrie will look over and you will see

Faran stabing Jewel. Jewel will then fall to the ground. You will now see

J.D. look over at Magnus and say that he is useless. After that J.D. will

tell Valkyrie that she will see her later. J.D. then warps out. Valkyrie

then angry, also leaves. You will now see Faran come back to his senses and

drops his sword. He then asks himself if he could have done this. Jewel

will then lift her arm and Faran will grab it and ask what is wrong with

Latisha. Jewel then says that starts saying that she...Faran will tell

her not to die. Jewel then spit out that she wants him to keep the secret.

Jewel will then die, and Faran will start to cry. Faran will then shout

Latisha's name as he charges at Magnus...



   Once you reach the World Map, use your Soul Concentration. You will be

told to goto the Forgotten Caves.

Forgotten Caves

   The Enemies in this cave are fairly easy to beat. So just go in and

kill them all. You will probably only gain one level, but that is one 

level. Once you are done, use your Soul Concentration. You will be told to

go to the Water Temple.

The Water Temple

----------------



   First head to the right and down underneath the water. Keep walking

to the right and eventually you will come out of the Water. On the next

screen you will see two Dragon Heads firing those Freeze Lasers. What you

have to do is jump on those little platforms and they will cause the Dragon

Heads to move, so you can jump on them and out of the water. You also get

3000 Experience for doing this. Head to the right and you can find an

Eye of Heaven and then take the path down. Now, before you touch anything,

head all the way to the right and you will see Tablet(just before the room 

with the ball). Now pull that Tablet at the bottom away from the door. Now 

head all the way back and you will see some sort of machine with two bars. 

Hang on the left one until it goes down twice. You will get 5000 Experience

for it. Now head to the next room and pull the two bars by the skull thing.

You will then see a FMV of the Water Temple being flooded. After it has 

flooded head to the right(you also get some experience). Swim up and at the

second  door you can find a Ignite Javalin. Head all the way back and push 

those Skull bars in. This will lower the water in the temple. Now go back 

and hold on to the left bar once more. Head to the right and push the bars 

in and flood the palace again. This time swim up to the top door. In this

room you can find the skill Dark. It is an okay skill...but Reverie is the

best. So make the change and you will soon understand why Reverie is the

best. After you have done that, head to the right and you will find another

one of those Raise/Lower things. Ignore it for now and head to the left.

Fall all the way to the bottom and hit that little orb thing twice(you

will get 3000 Experience for doing it). Now make a loop back and head to

that Raise/Lower things near the top. Push both sides in and then head

to the right. Enter the door and you can find an Angel Cure. Now go all

the way back and hit that Orb twice (it will lower the platform to

the other door). Once you have done make a loop back and enter the new

door that you can enter and head to the left. Jump over the water and

grab the Lapis. Then head go through that little underpass and you can

grab a Primsmic Missle. Now if you head to the left you will notice that

the door is close. So what you have do is first make a crystal shard(just

slash a crystal. Now remeber that switch in the middle of the Underpass?

Well...Just grab the crystal and then float it up to the switch and the

door will open. Head to the left and you will see a room that is not unlike

the Cliff Caves. If you haven't done the Cliff Caves what you have to do

is make the Freeze Laser reflect off of the Crystal and hit the orb. When

you hit the orb, the gate will swing open(and you will get 40000 Experience

for doing it). Now head up through the gate and to the left. Walk under the

water to the right and you can find a Footman Ax and a Naken:"Ruin's Fate".

After you have those, in order to get near the door you will have to use

what you sort of did in Saxxs Den. Take a Crystal Shard all the way to the

left. Let go of it and then jump on top of it. Once it rises to the top,

just get off and head to the left. Now you have to do the same crystal

float thing that you did in previous rooms(except, this time you have

to do it twice). After you have done it, head through the door that opened.

Now start jumping up as fast as you can. The walls will start to close in

on you but, it is really easy to make it. Now grab that Chest(has a charge

in it) and then head to the right. In this room you can find the Lotus

Gem in the right hand corner. Once you have it, head through the door.

Walk up to the right and you will to another one of those 'freeze the orb'

things. There is no easy way to do this, it just take time. Alot of it.

Once you have done it the door to the right will open and you will get

60000 Experience. Walk to the right and Save your game. Now enter the

door.



   Valkyrie will automatically walk over to the right, where a Flying

Ghost type thing is. The Raise will talk about how counting today, he will

not have seen anyone for 55,000 Days. Valkyrie will say that this undeads

time has run out. There is than a little short conversation about how 

Valkyrie will protect people and the Raise will say that Odin is their

target. Anyways after that you will enter a battle.

Strategy:I didn't have too much trouble with this battle. Just make sure

         that you have Cross Airrade for your spell (so you can use a 

         Celestial Astral). Then if you have all your characers use their

         Clinchers, you will have killed it in one. Otherwise, you will

         probably be killed by his Gravity Breath.



   After the battle you will be able to pick up three artifacts. After

you have grabed them you will get 300000 Experience for doing all of this.

Now head all the way out and you are done for the Chapter. Just waste

out the Periods and Frei will come for you.

   Frei will greet you and then gets right to telling you how the battle

is going. Here are my results.

   After this Frei will ask if you want to see how your characters are

doing. After that Frei will give you 18720 Materlize Points. Frei then

   Frei will then tell you to keep up the Good Work. And you will now be

on the Chapter 7 World Map. I generally will send up Rolenta, after I give

her Burn Storm, Fire Lance, Ignite Javalin, etc. 



   However, if your Seal Rating is low enough, a scene will take place.

If you have this scene take place, you are generally going to be able to

get Ending A. I'm going to put up another little spoiler notice(Just to be

safe...)

   You will see Rucio standing where Valkyrie was walking in the beginning

of the game. Rucio will be trying to talk himself into the fact that 

Valkyrie is not Platina. However, He is still doubting this. You will now

see Philia and another Young Man(Just warning but this guy is one my 

favorite characters in the game)come onto the screen. Philia will ask Rucio

what he is doing here. Rucio will reply nothing, and that it wouldn't make

a difference. Philia will think she understands and says that he must be

worried about somthing. She then tells him to cheer up. Rucio will look up

and say that if a God wants him to he better do as ordered. Rucio will

then say he was never really confused. Philia asks what that means. Rucio

will take just sort of stall. The screen will go black and you will see

Rucio thinking about how he needs to rise above this doubt. Rucio will

then think about his doubts like Death, Souls, Bravery, Gods  and...

The screen will come back and Philia will finsh his thought by saying

Valkyrie. Then Loki(The Young Man) will wonder if she is the one with the

Beautiful Face, he then says that he doesn't understand this? Philia

will ask him what he is talking about, saying that Loki has never worked

with Big Sister Rennas(Again not like family more like Mentor) so he can't

understand. Loki will apoligize. Philia then says that it doesn't make m

much difference. You will be back to Rucio's mind as he resolves himself

to find out the truth. Like what that Woman(Valkyrie) Real Name is, and

about her exsistence. Rucio then thinks that when Humans die there Souls

are Purified and the revived, God are Eternal, and the Undead can last

forever too. Rucio then thinks that when Valkyrie changes from a Human

she is reborn as a God, and if she changes from a God...You will now be

back in the "Real World". Rucio then wonders about this Rebirth of the

Human Form. Philia will says that is correct but, If Big Sister Rennas was

to be Reborn she would lose her Memory. Rucio will be shocked at this and

asks Philia about this Memory loss. Philia will say that it is true, and

that Frei takes care of Sealing the Memories. Rucio is now confused about

all of this Sealed Memories and Humans. Philia says that in time all Humans

will lose there Memories. Philia will then say that you will forget 

everything. Philia will ask Rucio what he is thinking about. Rucio will

say it is nothing. Loki will now remain speechless(Hint:this little talk

figure into the game later). Rucio asks if there is anyway to avoid the

Memory loss. Philia talk about how it is impossible since Odin gave this

job to Frei. Loki will then ask a question, what if Frei isn't called?

Philia will now walk off the screen. 



   Rucio will now be with Loki. You will see Rucio now thinks that Valkyrie

is Platina without the Memories. Loki will then start to laugh. Rucio will

then ask what use this information is to him. Loki says that he might

have a possible idea. Rucio inquires about this. Loki wonders if they

might be able to get arround the Sealed Memories but it might be a little

difficult. He will then tell you that it involves talking to Valkyries.

Loki then asks Rucio what he thinks. The scene will change to that of

a Castle. Loki will talk about how Odin has a fixed time when he contacts

Valkyrie. Loki then goes on to explain that Odin uses a Water Mirror to 

contact her. Rucio asks if they are going to use the Water Mirror to talk to

Valkyrie. Loki says that he is right. Rucio then wonders if Loki will get

in trouble for doing this. Loki will reply by saying that he does what

he wants. Then says that you should think if you really want to do this,

because the puishment would be extreme. Rucio says nothing and just starts

walking to the right. A Gem will now flash and the camera will shift to

the right where Loki and Rucio are standing. Rucio will ask Loki if this

is it. Then asks how he works this thing. Loki will tell Rucio to close

his Eyes and think about the Woman. Rucio will do as he says. You will 

then hear Rucio asks if Valkyrie can hear him and indetifes himself as

Rucio. But there will be now answer. Rucio will ask again, and as before

there will be no answer. Rucio then says Valkyries name and this time an

image appears. Valkyrie will be supprised that it is Rucio, and then asks

him if he knows what he is doing. Rucio says that he does...and then his

Hand glows. Valkyrie wonders what that is. Rucio will tell you that he is

giving you this Earring, and he wants you to go to a place that is sad

for him. Valkyrie is wondering if this is what he used the Water Mirror for. 

Rucio will just repeat about how he wants you to take the Earring to 

someplace that was Sad for him. Valkyrie will eventually give in. She then

goes on to comment about how stupid this was. Valkyrie then tells you that

you are a fool and leaves.



   Rucio will now be crying. He wonders why Valkyrie was like that. Loki

will ask him if anything happened. Rucio will then says that he is alone

now. Loki will say that wasn't very smart. Loki will then hold out a Orb

and Transform into his True Form(and is it ever cool). Rucio will be 

shocked at this. Rucio will then question Loki about that form. Loki will

ask Rucio if he likes it. Loki then goes on to explain that it is because

he possess the Dragon Orb. Loki will explain that it allows him to steal

from Criminals, like Rucio. Rucio will wonder what he is talking about.

Loki will start laughing and then explain that he is going to seal him

in his Orb. Rucio will say that it won't happen and then goes on to say

that he won't die. A Fight then occurs, where Rucio appears to be holding

his own against Loki...and then screen goes blank and you will end up in

Chapter 7.

   Start the Chapter by using your Soul Concentration. You will be told

to goto Frian.

Sohou

-----



   The screen will be black and you will see Sohou in the middle of the

screen. You will listen as he remebers what someone tells him. The Voice

tells Sohou that everyday, living in violence will eventually corrupt 

him(Extreme Paraphrase). Sohou will then drop his sword and then say that

they are wrong. The screen will come back up and you will see Sohou and

another Samurai. The Samurai will ask Sohou what is wrong. Sohou will say

that nothing is bothering him. There will be a long pause and eventually

the Samurai will note that he is losing his concentration. He then says

that Sohou should sit the next battle out, they will be able to win without

him. Sohou will try and get into the battle, but the Samurai just tells

him to sit this one out. The screen will go black and you will then hear

Sohou wonder why he let happen to Shiho. 



   You will now see the Samurai all standing arround in a destroyed town. 

The Leader will be asking if they captured the center of the town. A 

Samurai will speak up and say that they have it all. The Leader will 

comment about how that is good and then all the Samurai start to walk away,

except Sohou. You will see Sohou walk to the right and find a man quivering

with a Katana. The Man will note that they are back. Sohou will the walk

forward and get ready for a battle. The Man will look behind him and say

that you should get away, quickly. Sohou will be very supprised at this.

You will then see the Man's family behind him. The Man will then say that

he will destroy Sohou. Sohou will say nothing. The screen will go black

and Sohou will be thinking about what he is doing. You will then see a 

still shot of when Sohou and Shiho met. Sohou will then talk about what

he was doing. After that you get to see the Leader kill Shiho. Sohou will

then be wonder what he is doing. After that you will just see a Slash. And

then Sohou start to fall down.



   Sohou will now be with Valkyrie. Valkyrie will be asking him why he

fights. Sohou will say that he doesn't really know. Valkyrie will ask

him about that. Sohou will explain that he didn't know what he was fighting

for. He then goes on to explain that since he let that Girl die, he doesn't

really know what it is about. Sohou then goes on to explain that he knows

one thing, that he has to protect people from the muderers, but he will

do it as a Faceless Person.



   You will now see The Leader and some Samurai's arround Sohou's body.

The Leader will say that it is strange. The Leader will then look up and

think about Sohou. After that you hear Valkyrie say that Once again, you

live...



   Anyways I never really got to like Sohou, he is probably equal to 

Jewel, but Valkyrie/Rucio/Amy are far better(and this is assuming that you

equip him with a Sword, otherwise he would be pathetic now). Now use your

Soul Concentration again. You will be told to goto the Ancient Tombstone 

of Amenity.

Ancient Tombstone of Amenity

   *I hated this place. It is very frustrating because it almost one giant

maze and every room looks alike(and trying to write this at the same time

doesn't help). So I recommend that you use an Eye of Heaven in this 

dungeon. It just makes it easier to know where you haven't been.



   If you jump on the to the Ledge that covers the enterence, you can

find a Eye of Heaven. Once you have that, head to the right. If you jump

on the Ledge that covers the door that you just entered, you can find one

of the Lotus Gems. After you have that continue to the right. Now jump

up to the top left, but watch out for the Flames that shoot out of the 

wall. In that room you can find a Base Metal. Now fall down and head to

the Right. Keep going until you reach a little switchback and then start

to head to the left(watch out for those spikes as you jump). In the next

room you can find a chest that is hidden behind those box. After you have

it, you need to jump to the top left. Watch out when you reach the box

on the right, a spike will come down on top of you(just duck and it won't

hit you). Anyways once you reach the room, kill the Durhan and head down.

Keep heading to the right until you reach a room that goes up and has two

doors to the right. Now what you have to do is jump on those spikes to

reach the top. When you get up there you will find a Mithril Plate(which is

some good Armor). Now take the top door that leads to the right. When you

enter you will see a Blue Jewel on a Pedastel. Walk over and grab the Gem.

When you do the door to the room will shut and you will get 60000 

Experience. Now what you have to do is just very quickly jump on the 

platform and then run to the left. This way you can make it out of the 

room. Now take the bottom path to the right. Run past those pots that shoot

up fire. By the last pot you can find a chest that contains a Stone Check.

When you have it head to the right. In the next room, fall down and head

to the left. Eventually you will reach a Save Point. Now jump up to the

top right door. As soon as you enter a Giant Statue will come at you.

What you have to do is Slash at its "Beard" and then its Chin. When you

do you will break off enough room for you to slide under(you also get

35000 Experience for this). After you have done that, walk over and grab

the Resist Magic. Now head back and take the bottom left door. As soon as

you enter slash at the bottom spike and let the top spike pass over your

head. This will allow you to jump over them and grab the Naken:"Ruins Fate",

that is in the corner. Now head back and take the bottom right path this

time. Now fall down and enter the second door. Head to the right and when

you reach the next room you can find a chest above the ledge. Grab this,

it is a Unicorn Horn. Now make another Seitsue:"Unicorn Horn". This is the

first time in the game I use a party of 2 Fighter/2 Mages(For now Meltina

and Shiho). This is a great party for now, since almost nothing survives

a 2x Celestial Astral/Meteo Swarms. Anyways keep heading to the right and

eventually you will reach a little switch back that has a chest. Grab that

and then head to the left. Jump up to the top left and then run across 

those spikes in the air. Now if you run to the right you can find a 

Cross Airrade. Grab that and then head to the left. Jump up and you can

find some Mithril Ore, then take the door that leads down. Now fall down

and take the door at the bottom. You will be back where you found the 

Unicorn Horn. Now run all the way and when you get to the room past the

Switchback, take the path that leads down. Now jump up to the top right

and enter the door. Fall down and take the top path that leads left. Grab

the chest and then return to the Save Point. This next part is a little

tricky. Head to the left and get on that platform. Now fall down to the

top right door. It will probably take you awhile to do this(and it only

gets worse after this). Anyways take the top right door and then grab

the Wassil Raiper. Now start heading to the left. Eventually you will reach

a Save Point. Save your game and then head to the right. Follow the path

and eventually you will reach a room that has a door in the top left. Take

that door and you will enter a room that has a Red Gem. Grab that like

you did the first to get 60000 Experience. Now to get out of this room take

a Crystal Shard and put it on the pedastel. You will then be able to get

out of the room. Now on your way back you will notice that the Spike thing

that was blocking your path has moved to the right. So take the door that

leads to the left. You will have another of those Face Statues that you

have to smash in order to slide under. When you do it you get a little b

bonus of 35000. Now keep heading to the left. Just follow the path arround.

Also when you walk down those stairs, you can find a Chest just above the

Ledge. Now just watch out for the Fire Pots and keep heading to the

right. Eventually you will reach a room that has path that leads to the

bottom left and a path that leads to the right. Before you take those, fall

down and you can find a chest in the bottom right corner. Now head

to the left(and make sure you have alot of time and patience). In the 

following rooms, you job will be to grab all of the chests and to make

sure not to hit those flying heads. If you do get hit by one(and you will).

You will be taken to a room that has three heads on the right wall and a

closed door on the left. What you have to do is smash the three heads and

the door will open(the first time you do it, you get Experience). Now just

follow the path and make sure that you grab all of the treasure(one is a

Raven Slayer and the other is the second Lotus Gem). The Raven Slayer will

be hidden behind a pillar in the room with the Fire Pots. The Lotus Gem is

just out in the Open. Anyway, when you reach the next room first fall down

and head into both of the left and right rooms to grab some chests. After

you have done that head to the top left door. Now just follow the path 

and eventually you will reach the Save Point(and you are almost done with

this terrible place). Before you goto the right, make sure that you have

two mages with Cross Airrade(Celestial Astral) or otherwise this battle 

will take 45 minutes. Now head to the right and go up to the giant statue.

It will ask you a question. Just choose the bottom answer. The Statue

will then open up and let you through. Walk to the right and grab the

chest. Then go to the middle and search that platform. It will ask you if

you want to place the gems. Say yes and when you do the Coffin will open

up and Astros will come out. 



   When Astros comes out he will talk about how his Kingdom was destroyed,

but now they will build a new one. Valkyrie will wonder who or what he is.

Astros will explain that he was the King of a special place where Souls of

the Dead could go...Amenity. And then wonders if Valkyrie would help. When

Valkyrie doesn't answer then Astros ask her again. Valkyrie will say that

she won't help and that she will defeat them. You then enter a battle with

Astros and 2x Undead Slaves.

Strategy:This is a tough battle. The Undead Slave won't last very long, in

         fact I recommend that you only have one mage cast Cross Airrade

         and have the other Save there magic(because you are all going to

         need to attack to beat him). The reason why is when he loses more

         than half his DME he casts Cure Plums. But, if your are half-way

         strong at this point, each Celestial Astral should do abou 70000

         Damage.



   After the battle you can grab alot of Artifacts. Once you have taken

what you want, you will get 1000000 Experience for doing this(which is

too little in my opinion). Anyways work your way out and when you get out,

use your Soul Concentration. You will be told to goto the Forest of Ghosts.

Forest of Ghosts

   If by some chance you have a weapon that kills Fire in one hit(like the

Kourenken:"Infernous"), oh, this is easy. Otherwise these battles will be

fairly difficult. You will have to rely on your Seitsue:"Unicorn Horn" to 

survive against some of the enemies here. Also somthing I should have put

down is, that in the previous Sacred Phase, Frei gave you an item. This 

item is Gem of Fire Spells, and she wanted you to restore it's power. And

that is why you need to be in the Forest of Ghosts. Oh, and one last thing

before I start, make sure to have your Mage use Burn Storm (as a Magic

Spell). This way most of the enemies will die in one round.



   As soon as you enter The Forest of Ghosts, you can find an Eye of Heaven

on top of a branch. Grab it and then continue to the left. Keep walking to

the left and after about 2-3 screens you will see an Elf Girl standing in a 

bright light. Valkyrie will then walk up to the Elf. The Elf will note

that it is The War Goddess Valkyrie, and asks what she needs. The Elf 

will continue to say that she should enter the Village, and that the Forest

is a dangerous place now. She will then let Valkyrie pass and you will now

be in the Elf Village. Walk to the left and another scene will take place.

This Elf will ask Valkyrie what she is doing here. Valkyrie will explain

that Odin sent her to gain some information on a Broken Artifact. The Elf

will ask Valkyrie about this Broken Artifact. Valkyrie says that it is 

called the "Gem of Fire Spells", and that it needs to be restored. The Elf

will say that it is some sort of Magic Crystal. Valkyrie then wonders if 

the Elves can restore it. The Elf will say that they can, but right now 

they don't have the neccassary items. Valkyrie will ask what is the problem. 

The Elf explains that the "Gem of Fire Spells" is actually a Crystal made

by the Fire Dragon; Fabnil, and it contains his incredible power. And right

now they would have 0% Chance of being able to restore it. Valkyrie asks

where she can get the items. The Elf will tell Valkyrie that what is needed

for the ceramony are; The Golden Pedastal, The Silver String, The Drops of

Darkness, and The Feather of Fascination. Valkyrie asks where she can find

these(Quick Note:I did this in a different order, and I think my way is a

better one, anyways here is what the Elf says). The Elf will say that you

can find the Drop of Darkness in the South, The Silver String in the 

North-East, The Gold Pedastal near the Center. Valkyrie will ask what about

that last one. The Elf will just say the Cocatrice. Valkyrie wonders if it

is the same Monster that changes people into Stone. The Elf will say that

she is right, and that in order to get the Feather of Fascination you will

have to get a feather from the Cocatrice. Valkyrie will thank her for the

info and then the Elf will ask if she is leaving. Valkyrie will say that

she is and the Elf will tell you that you can find the Cocatrice near the

North-East. Now that you can move head to the right.



   Now keep heading to the right, until you can take a path that leads

up. Now head to the left for a little and at the end you can take another

path that leads up. Start walking to the left now. Eventually you will 

reach the end of the path, where you can find a Lucerne Hammer. Now, on 

that same screen take the path that leads up and head to the left. Watch

out on this screen though, the monster are particularly annoying. Anyways

once you get all the way to the left, you can talk to an Elf that will tell

you Basically you are near the Cocatrice. Take the path that leads down and

you will be near a Save Point. Save, And before you head to the right, head

to the left and jump on the branches. You will be able to find a Reduce

Power and a Golden Egg. The Golden Egg is a pretty cool item. It will raise

some stats a random amount. What I do is Save, and then keep using it on 

Valkyrie until It raises it a decent amount. Anyways, If you have already

done that, or just don't care head to the right. You will now be in what

appears to be a Swamp and just to your right you can see the Cocatrice. 

After a little pause, you will enter a battle with it.

Strategy:Well, If you really want to you can use Fire Lance, but I still

         prefer to use Cross Airrade and then get a Celestial Astral. Also

         you can win this battle in one hit(If you have a weapon that kills

         fire). Anyways just get ready to use your Clinchers. I used an

         Order of Valkyrie, Amy, Jewel and then Celestial Astral, but you

         can really do anything you want. Anyways this is a really easy

         battle that at the most should take your three rounds(I was able 

         to kill it with one Celestial Astral).



   After the Battle, you will get a message saying you recieved the 

Feather of Fascination. Then it will tell you that you got a Experience

Bonus of 16000. Now head to the left and Save your game. Then take the

path up and this time start walking to the right and then head down. The

goto the right again until you reach a new area. On this screen, start

jumping on the branches and try and get to the top right. Hidden by the

branches is a chest that contain a Prevent Sorcery. Now, Fall all the way

down and take the path that leads up. If you head to the left you will be

able to find a chest that contains a Ignite Javalin. Once you have that

head to the right, and go past the elf. And on this screen you can find

a Wassil Rapier if you jump from Branch to Branch until you reach the 

top. Once you have that head back to that Elf to the left and take the

path that leads down. Now walk to the left and on this screen you can find

a Lapis(Top Right) and a Golden Egg(Top Left). Just make sure that you save

one for later. Now if you walk to the left of this screen you can find a 

Giant Spider sitting on it's web. When you get close enough to the Spider 

you will enter battle with it.

Strategy:If you can beat the Cocatrice, you can beat the Venom Spider. Just

         using a standard Cross Airrade I was able to take 3/4 or its DME

         away. Anyways just Attack and with a Cross Airrade you can win

         in one round. 



   After the battle, It will tell you that you recieved the Silver String.

And After that you will get 16000 Experience for doing this. Now, work your

way back to where the Wassil Rapier was. Once you get there keep heading to

the right and then take the route that leads down. Take the route on this

screen that leads down and then keep walking to the left until you reach

another Elf. Now walk past the Elf and take the route that leads down.

Start walking to the left, until you take another path that leads down.

Head to the right and go past the Elf. If you jump from Branch to Branch

on this screen you can find a Timer Ring, A Prevent Sorcery, a Reflect

Sorcery, and a Golden Egg. Now, Walk back to the left and near the Elf

there will be a path that leads down. Take it. One this screen if you look

to the right you will be able to find a chest that contains a Cross Airrade

hidden behind some rocks. After you have it, walk to the left. On this

screen you take two routes. One is walking along the log that leads back.

And the other is to walk underneath the log. Walk underneath it for now and

head to the left. One this screen you can find a Cure Plums, plus if you

look in the tree's, you can find a chest that contains the 

Seii:"Sylph Red". They are very strong for your Mage. After you have them

head back to the right and this time take the high road. Now take the high

road that leads back to the Cross Airrade place, and this time head up.

The start to walk all the way left. You will then see a Elf standing next

to a giant rock and there may or may not be water in there. If there isn't,

then Elf will explain that it only appears at certain times. So just keep

leaving and entering this room until there is water underneath the rock.

When there is, just walk to the water and you will recieve the Drops of

Darkness. You will also get 16000 Experience for doing it. Now head back

to the to the very center of the map(It the tall room with some branches

and an Elf in it, you already past though here before, right off the main

path). If you talk to the Elf it will explain that Apemen like to live 

high in the trees, and that if you know your own abilities, you can make 

it that high too. So what you have to do is starting to the right of the 

Elf, make a pile of Crystal (slash at the crystal, then pick it up to make

a pillar) and you should be able to reach the branch. Now just keep 

repeating this on each branch until you reach the Apeman. This will 

probably take a while, depending on how experienced you are. Anyways, once 

you reach the top you will enter battle with the Apeman.

Strategy:One word, Icicle Sword! It is really cool to see your Characters

         do 42000 damage a hit. If you don't have an Icicle Sword, then

         just use Clinchers, but you should have an Icicle Sword (It is a

         really great weapon). 



   Once the battle is over you will get a message saying that you recieved

the Golden Pedastal(you will also get the Standard 16000 Experience Bonus).

Once you have those, fall down the trees and take the path that leads down.

The just keep walking all the way to the left and you will end up in the

Elf Village.



   When you talk to the Elf in the village it will ask you if you have all

the items. There will be a pause and the Elf will say that they will start

it right away. The screen will fade in and out and you will now see a

Treasure Chest to the right of Valkyrie. The Elf will tell you to take

it. But, before you can Valkyrie asks about the Elves, The Elf then say

that they are going to return(not important). Anyways, you can now grab

the chest and in contains the fixed "Gem of Fire Spells. Once you have that

you can leave the Forest, and return to the World Map. However, before you

use your Soul Concetration head back to the Forest of Ghosts. This time

head to where the Elf was. This time there will be a Maze. The order to

get through this is:

   Now just walk to the left and you will see another Cockatrice. It should

be very easy to defeat. After you defeat it you will be able to grab two

artifacts(both of which you should keep). After that you will get 240000

Experience and you can leave. Now use your Soul Concentration and then head

to the Forgotten Caves.

   The enemies this time are very easy. Almost too easy. Anyways just work

your way through(you may need a Dragon Slayer/Celestial Astral to kill the

Dragon Zombie). Anyways once you get out you are done with the "Mandatory"

Events. Now on to the Extras.

   These are optional events you can do. You don't have to do them, but

they will generally add more to the story/make you stronger/get you a

better ending.

The Witch Leslie

----------------



   Head back to the Archdain Ruins. Go all the way to the boss room(I just

ran away from all the enemies). As soon as you enter, Valkyrie will walk

over to the Crystal. She will talk to the Witch Leslie and say that she

has a request from Master Odin. Leslie's spirit will then float out of the

Crystal. Leslie then wonders if it is the Soul Defender, The War Goddess

Valkyrie. Valkyrie will say that she is, and that her Master needs her 

great power. Leslie will explain to Valkyrie that her Great Magic powers

have been sealed away in her body. Leslie then wonders why she still is on

this World, she then continues by wondering if Valkyrie doesn't become 

depressed by all the Sadness and Sufering. You then get in a battle with

Leslie. I won't bother writing a strategy down for this one. She only has

12000 HP and it is so simple to win. After you win you will be back on the

World Map. And you now have Leslie in your party. I take out whatever mage

I was using and stick her in. She is very strong. 



   You are now finshed with Chapter 7. Just waste out the rest of the

Periods.

   Frei will greet you and then gets right to telling you how the battle

is going. Here are my results.

   After this Frei will ask if you want to see how your characters are

   Frei will then tell you to keep up the Good Work. I will generally send

up Sohou, because when you Max all of his Characteristics, he comes out

somewhere around 220. And he fits everything that Frei wants. After that

you will be on the Chapter 8 World Map. However, If you are getting Ending

A, another scene will take place. So Don't read this unless you want it

to be spoiled for you.

   Frei will greet you as Normally. However, she will then tell you that

one of the Humans you sent up has gotten in a little trouble. And his name

is Rucio. She then goes on to tell you that he was seen with Loki trying

to get the Dragon Orb to the Human World. Frei then says that you would 

know what would happen if the Dragon Orb made it to the Human World. Frei

then gives you 21000 MP(I don't remeber the exact amount). The screen will

fade and you will be back to the fight between Loki and Rucio. Loki 

eventually defeats Rucio and sends him flying. After the battle you will

be in Odin's Throne Room. Odin will be supprised by the Dragon Orb. Frei

will say that she saw it. The screen will fade and you will be in the 

room where Loki and Rucio faught. Odin will ask Loki to wait, saying he 

needs to talk to him about something. Loki will then say that it is

probably about him using the Water Mirror. Odin will say that he guessed

what it was about. Loki will then walk away. Frei will then ask Odin why

he let Loki go. Odin will say that they need proof of what he is trying

to do. Frei then asks if he is trying to find out why he wanted Rucio to

use the Water Mirror and take it to the Human World. Odin says that is

correct. Frei then says that the Orb can make people Giants. Odin responds

to Frei by telling him that Loki probably wasn't in his real form. Anyways

the converstation then goes on about how Odin shouldn't have helped Loki,

and about how he is insane. They will both then wonder about Rucio and

the Dragon Orb...

When you start in Chapter 8, use your Soul Concentration and it will

tell you to head to The Dragon Hall.

   This is going to be the first dungeon that has quite a few annoying

puzzles/riddles(Which are very difficult to figure out, if you don't know

Japanese). Also, quite a few of the enemies are annoying. I also recommend

that you buy a Valkyrie Feaver. Also, If you can afford it buy an Orihalcon.

The use the High-Level Transformation Gem to change it into a great weapon;

The Maken:"Gram". The Maken:"Gram" attack three times and kills Dark 

instantly. Now that this is out of the way I will get on with the 

Walkthrough.



   When you first enter start heading to the right for two screen. On the

third, there should be a picture on the wall. If you walk up to it you will

will find that it is Number 16 and that it is titled "The Tower". There 

will then be a little blurb talking about the Power of the Stars and after

this the game will give you the "Stone of the Full Moon". You will then 

recieve an Experience Bonus of 1600. Once you have the stone, walk back

to the left and enter the door that is open(not the one with the Sun on 

it). When you enter you will be in a room with a statue to the left and

some sort of crystal, high in the middle. Walk over the Statue and search

it. You will eventually be asked which Stone you want to use. Select the

"Stone of the Full Moon" and you will then be warped to a new area. First

head down, and the to the left. You will be in a room where you can pick

up an Eye of Heaven and a Wassil Rapier. After you have those start walking

to the right. Jump over that stone in the middle of the road so you can 

reach the door on the right. When you enter this room, Kill the Durhan

Lord and the head to the right and you can grab a Lapis. After you have

it head back to the left and push that Stone out of the way so you can

enter the door. If you walk a little to the left, you can find another

Lapis. Now start heading to the right. Jump over the stone that blocks

the door and head to the next screen. You will see 4 statues. If you talk

to the Statues this is what they say (Remeber this, it will be important

Later...). 



   Top Statue:You will note that it is facing to the left.

   Right Statue:You will note that it is facing the front.

   Bottom Statue:You will note that is facing to the back.

   Left Statue:You will note that it is facing to the right.



   Once you have all of that done, you can find a door to the right. Take

it and you will have to face a Paramount Chimera. Once you kill it, head

to the right and search the picture. You will find out this is Number 10

and titled the Wheel of Destiny. You will then gain the "Stone of Lunch".

After that you will get 1600 Experience. Take that and head back to the 

left. Now push that stone of of the way and enter the door. You can find

a Crystal to your right and a Guard Reinforce. You can also find a Save 

Point to the left. Save you game and then head back to the room that 

contains the Statue. This time when the Statue asks you what Stone you want

to use, choose the "Stone of Lunch"(This will be the top answer). You will

then be warped to where you started. Except, this time you can open that

door that has the Sun on it. Do that and enter it. If you look to the left

you can find a Ether Scepter. Grab it and then start heading to the right.

Now in this room, first head through the door with the Sun on it. You can

find a Bolt Sake . After you have the treasures go up to the Painting. You 

will find out that it is Number 13 and titled "Death". You will then get a 

message saying that you got the "Stone of the Black Spot". After you have 

it, leave this room. This time head all the way to the right. You will now

be in a room very similar to the one before, except, this time you can 

move the statues. So just move them to the way that they were in the other 

room. Once you have moved them you will notice that a door at the bottom 

right opens. You will also get 5000 Experince for doing it. So go through 

the door to the right. You will find another painting called "The Emporer"

and is number 4. After you search it you will find the "Stone of the 3rd

Moon". Now that you have the Stone and the Experience go ahead and pust

that stone if front of the room. In that room you can find a Burn Storm 

and a Lucerne Hammer. Once you have those, head back to where the statues 

is. Use your "Stone of the 3rd Moon"(Bottom Choice) and this time you will

be in a different area. Head to the left. 



  You will now be in a long hall that has all of the pictures on the walls.

Those pictures will figure into a puzzle in just a little bit, but I have

the solution for you, so you don't need to look at them. Just keep heading 

to the left until you reach the next room. Kill the Paramount Chimera and

the go up to the painting. You will find out that it is Number 7 and titled

"The Chariot". Anyways you will then get the 1600 Bounus and you will also

get the "Stone of the Dark Stripe". Now that you have those, work your way

back to the Statue and use the "Stone of the Dark Stripe"(3rd from top).

Now head to the left and you will find yourself in a room that has many

doors. If you talk to the statue it will give you the clue.



          "Order from Lowest"

       "However, Exclude the Fool"



   If you want to figure out the puzzle by yourself, then skip this 

section. If not here is the solution:





Solution-

   As the clue says, you need to put the painting in order from the Lowest

to the Highest. But, you need to exclude the Fool. Now each door represts

a painting(you can find these by going to the other room). So what you have

to do is walk in each door, and then the Fool painting last. Here is what

the order would look like:



   Doors:8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1

         ---------------

   Order:6-5-1-4-3-7-2-8



   If you use that order, the door will open.





   Now after doing that the door will open(and you will get 20000 Exp Bonus

for doing it). Now head to the left. In this room you can grab a Ignite

Javalin. After you have that search the painting. Once you do you will get

the "Stone of the New Moon". Once you have it, head back to the statue and

use it(Bottom Choice). Now start heading to the left. Now jump to the top

and you can find a chest that contains an Eye of Heaven. Once you have it

jump to the top platform. When you reach it Valkyrie will note that it is

some sort of Machine. You will then be asked if you wish to activate it.

Say that you do(Top Answer). The Machine will then spin for a while and

then eventually stop. Now head back to the "Warp Statue" and this time you

should use your "Stone of the Black Spot"(2nd Choice from Top). 



   Start heading to the left and eventually you will reach a big room like

before. As soon as you enter, the machine will start to work. After it is

finshed a door will appear(and you get 50000 Experience). However, before

you head to the door, head up and you can find a chest that contains a 

Cool Dazzel. Once you have that, take the door at the bottom. You will be

in a room that has a save point(so Save). Now this next part will probably

take you a couple of tries(it did me). So start by walking to the right.

The statues that you can talk to will tell you about how to avoid the

Guardians. Once you reach the next room jump up and the grab the chest(has

a Shield Critical in it). Then jump to the left and enter the door. 



  Now don't move for a while. Eventually a Statue will charge up to you.

If you get hit by this, it will warp you to a different area(which you 

should do since you can gain an easy Level down there). So if you get hit,

just walk around for a while and eventually a statue will appear. Now after

the statue has turned around, follow it. Eventually the statue will stop

and create a door in the wall. Enter that door. Now in this room if you

want to get the chest(has a Dragon Slayer in it, so it is worth it) here is

what you have to do. You need to shoot crystal to the side of the wall

and then jump over the statue and run. Then wait until the statue leaves,

and open the chest. It will probably take a few times before you can 

successfully get away with it. After you have it, enter the door that is

near the Dragon Slayer. In this room you can find a Crystal and a Lightning

Bolt. Once you have those head back out and take the door that is to the

left. Now head to the left and you will have to do the same dodge the

Guardian thing again. Once you do it you will be able to find a Mind 

Reinforce and a Spell Reinforce. There is somthing else that you have to

do in this room. This to me, was probably one of the most frustrating parts

of the game, since It took me 2 hours to do this. Anyways if you talk

to the statues they will explain that when a Guardian gets tired it will

go to sleep. So what you have to do is let that Guardian chase you arround,

constantly for about 2-6 times. By Constantly, I mean that you have to jump

over it and have it run at you from the other way too. Anyways once you 

finally do this(If someone has a better way of doing this, please let 

me know)you will be able to get the final stone, the "Stone of the Crimson

Flame". You also get 1600 Experience Points. Now head back to the Save

Point and Save. Then head to the Warp Statue. When it asks you which stone

choose the "Stone of the Crimson Flame"(4th from top). You will then be

warped to a new area, where you can Save. Save the game and then walk to

the left. 



   You will see Gannos and a couple of Soldiers near a Giant Throne. Gannos

will be wondering why Carbunkle isn't here. Gannos then wonders if the 

information he got was wrong. The screen will then start to shake violently

and all of a sudden a Giant Golem will rise up. Gannos will note what power

that things has. He then realizes that the Golem must be powered by that

gem, and he doesn't want to destroy it. So while Gannos is wondering what

to do, The Golem will then walk and the Soldiers will intercept it. But, 

All of a sudden, A Huge Blast of Energy comes in a destroys both the Golem 

and the Soldiers. Frei then warps into what is left of the smoking mess.

Gannos will wonder what is going on. Valkyrie will then run on the screen

and is supprised by Frei. She asks Frei what she is doing here. Frei will

explain that she is just following Odin's orders. Frei then goes on to say

that this Human is particularly dangerous so that is why...He must die.

Valkryie will be taken aback by this. Frei then says that there is no 

reason that they can't use his Soul. Frei then say that those are Odin's

Strategy:If you can't take Gannos out on the first turn, things can't get

         really bad in this battle. But, Luckily you can take him out 

         easily in one turn. Be it by Celestial Astral/Meteo Swarm, or 

         I found that just one Nibelgen Velocity or a Dragon Dread took

         Gannos out as well. All in all you should be fine if you have 

         either the Maken:"Gram" or the Valkyrie Feavor. 



   After the battle, you will see Valkyrie and Gannos alone. Gannos will

be telling Valkyrie that he will never work for her. Valkryie will say that

is fine, he can just spend some time with the Princess of Hell. Gannos

will get mad at this. Valkyrie then asks him what he is going to do. 

She goes on to say that her Master would be willing to pay for his power, 

or he could go work for free for the Princess of Hell. Gannos will start to

laugh. Gannos will then ask if the Soul Hunter, The War Goddess Valkyrie, 

would be bargaining for his Soul. Gannos then says that it is fine, but

that he will do it like he always has. The screen will fade back to the

Dragon Mansion and you will now have three chests in front of you. You

can find the, Dragon Face, The Schemes of the Cursed Soldiers, and the

Hourglass of God. After you do that, you will get an Experience Bonus of

500000. However, before you go if you stack the Treasure Chests on the

throne and then jump up you will be able to see a Chest. In order to make 

it, you will need to do the Crystal Jump(Jump into the Dust of a Destroyed

Crystal). When you eventually make it up, you will get the 

Gouyari:"Dinosaur"(Sturdy Spear:"Dinosaur"). It is a nice little weapon for

Amy, but only during Boss Battles. I find I leave my Crimson Edge for just

exploring. Also you will now have Gannos, a pretty strong mage but, Leslie

is a little better. After you have done that you can leave.



    On the World Map, use your Soul Concetration and you will now be told

to goto the Forgotten Caves.

   Just kill all of the enemies and then move on. Now when you use your

Soul Concentration, you will be taken to the Maze of the Aryan Road.

   I can't not give a walkthrough for this place. You will soon understand

why. I will just give you a list of all the rooms and then some tips as to

how this work.



   First you will see Numbers on little screens. This tells you what room

you will be warped to. Some rooms make you do some simple math to figure

out where your going. If you want the Number to change, just go to the Orb

and then you will be warped. Now here is a list of all the Choices(Note 

that you start in room 1).

    You can grab some very good items. So I recommend that you grab all the

items then work your way into Room 17. Save you game, Then just head to 25.

Valkyrie will walk to the left and you will see a Soldier. Valkyrie will

tell it to leave the Human World. Eventually the Dark Lord will talk

about how he will take souls, Valkyire will get mad,etc. Eventually you

will enter a battle.

Strategy:Luckily the Dark Lord won't attack you until you kill the two

         Demons. So just use your Standard Clinchers on them(or a Celestial

         Astral). Then you have to deal with the Dark Lord. He can do a 

         ton of damage(30000+). But, if you can attack with all of your

         Characters, he should go down real easy. It will probably take

         6 or 8 rounds to win though. Guts and Auto Item are quite helpful

         here.



  After the battle if you goto the left you can pick up three artifacts.

When you grab the last one, you will get 500000 Expereince. Now just head

in the transport thing and you will be finshed with this place.



   Now use your Soul Concetration again and you will now be told to goto

the Castle of Heaven.

The Castle of Heaven

   Before I start, you may have some trouble getting to this place. You 

will be told the general direction, but in order to find it you have to 

fly to the highest that you can. Anyways, start by heading to the right.

Now talk the right door again and then head up. You will find a chest to

the left, it contains the final Lotus Gem. After you have it, walk to the

right and then head down. Walk all the way to the end and take the last

door that leads up. Kill all of the monsters in this hall and then head

back and take the middle door. Fall down to the bottom and head to the

right. This is the trick part of this dungeon. If you fall down, you have

to start this all over(and you lose two periods). Anyways, jump to the

right and grab those three chests. Then grab on to that chain and take

it over to the right. Now just do the same in the next room and when you 

have all the chests, head to the right. Anyways just keep following the

path with the stairs and eventually you will reach a room that has alot

of Buterflies. So what you have todo is kill them all and that will cause

the vine to the left to die(you get 80000 for doing it). Head to the left

and you will have to do the samething again(but this time you have to watch

out for those freezing lasers). When you do it you will get 80000 Exp. 

Bonus. Now head all the way to the left and you can pick up the Nintou:

Silvanse. That was the strongest weapon in SO and its stats are pretty much

the same(well the AP was reduced by 80 for VP). Anyways take the path that

leads down. Now following the path(I recommend that after you get past

that little garden that you start killing all of these monster, the give

a good amount of EXP). You will eventually reach a Save Point. So save your

game and then head to the right. 



   Valkyrie will start walking to the right and you will see J.D.Wallce.

J.D. will note that it is the Goddess. Valkyrie will say that she will

Seal J.D. away in time. Valkyrie then goes on to ask J.D. why she needs

the blood of the living. Eventually you will enter battle with J.D.

Strategy:Okay, this battle is actually much easier than the Aryan Road.

         First turn make sure to cast Reflect Sorcery, or otherwise you

         can lose this battle very quickly. Then just take out the Demonic

         Barons. Now, to take out J.D. just use your Clinchers with a 

         Celestial Astral somewhere in it and you will win easily.



   Now, go grab all the artifacts. After you have done that you will get

500000 for doing this. Now, just leave this and head to the World Map.



   You are now done with Chapter 8. Now it is time to find out what Ending

you get.

   If your Seal Rating is below 40, and you have sent Rucio up during

Chapter 5 or 6. Press Start and you will be told to goto the Small Meadow.

   As soon as you run out the rest of your periods on Chapter 8, you will

be called to Valhalla. The Words Ragnarok will then come up on the screen.

The a message will follow. It will tell you that Sult is a very important

Van God Member and he is currently in his Ice Palace. You must go in 

and destroy him(This is a shortend version of what it says). A Man named

Toll will come up on the screen. Toll will say that you can take your 

all of your characters in to destroy King Sult. Vazal will then say that

the Jostenheim Palace is a very dangerous place. Chule will then say that

Sult is guarded by very strong people. Aile will tell you to that this is

an important Job. Helmoth will ask what you are waiting for. Ulu will say

that you will be fine. Frei then comes up and gives you 24990 Materlize

Points. You will then be told that you are heading to the Jostenheim Palace

and it explains about it(that is where the Van Army resides). Anyways

it will then tell you to prepare for the battle(i.e. The game needs to 

load).



   You will now be in the Jostenheim Palace. Head to the left and Save

your game. Take the first door that leads up. Then take the path that

leads up again. Now in this room you can find a chest that contains a 

Mental Reaction. This is a good skill. It lets your Mage use spells every

2 turns by giving up some DME. After you have that, head to the left. You

will now see some platforms. You need to jump on these, but becareful since

the disappear. If you head to the right you can find a Freeze Check and a

Foxglove. Once you have those you can find a door near the upper right.

Now walk across the long bridge until you reach the next screen. When you

can, fall down to the bottom. On either side of this room you can find a

chest. One contains a Eye of Heaven and the other has a Fox Glove. Once

you have those head to the left. Again walk across the Long Bridge and

you will eventually reach a room that has a Blue Flame, a Green Flame, and

a Red Flame. Now what you have to do is, Mix the Blue Flame with the Red

Flame in the bottom pedastel. Once you have done that, you will get 

120000 Experience. Then take the path at the top right, and head back all

the way to that Save Point at the enterence. Now keep going to the left

this time. Head to the left again. You will now be in a room that has a

door to the left and some platforms. Jump on the platforms, until you reach

the door near the top right. Follow the path and enter the door that leads

up when you can. Take it again and you will be in a room where you can

find a Flare Crystal, and a Plant Seeds. Once you have those, head back

down and go to the left. When you reach the switchback, you can find a

chest that contains a Flare Crystal. Now keep heading to the right and

you will eventually end up where you started. Now take the bottom route

that leads to the left. Head left for one screen. In the next room be sure

to watch out for the Icicles Falling and keep going to the left. Now this 

room happens to have some treasure chests at the bottom. One is to the 

right and the other is to the left near the spikes. Once you have those, 

use the platforms to make your jumps to the top left. Now grab the chest

and then use the platforms again to jump up to the top right. Keep heading

to the right. Just follow the path until you reach a door. Take the door

and then head to the left. In this room you can grab a Ether Scepter and

a Foxglove on the left platforms. Once you have those head to the top

right opening.



   Now Save your game. You are about to fight the Strongest Monster(in 

Normal). Once you have Saved your game head to the right. But, make

sure that each Character has an Angel Cure equipped. After you head to

the right You will see a Monster there. Walk up to it and you will get in 

a fight.

Strategy:This is one hard battle. There is no easy way to win it. As you

         can see by its HP you haven't faught anything close to it even

         yet. It's Normal Attack deal about 8000 damage, its Breath attack

         deals 20000 to all. And if that wasn't bad enough once you take

         about 1/4 of its HP away it will start to use a Gravity Gate that

         can do about 90000 damage. Now that you know what you are up 

         against, we can talk strategy. Now, I have fought this battle 

         probably 30-40 times. So what I have found is 3 things. One, make

         sure that the party used has the best weapons(Maken:"Gram", 

         Dinosaur, etc.). Second, use a Reduce Guard on it, to make this

         battle easier. Third, A Phoenix Feather/Angel Cure can really 

         change this battle. Anyways now that is done I used a party of 

         Valkyrie, Rucio, Amy, and Gannos. Once I had used the Reduce 

         Guard, I just use the following order:Nibelgen Velocity, Dragon 

         Dread, Celestial Astral/Meteo Swarm, Round Lip Sabre. You will 

         also probably have to use alot of Union Plums for this battle, 

         so stock up. As I said before, there is no easy way to win this.



   After the battle a chest will be there. If you open it you will get the

Maken:"Levaithan". It is the strongest weapon in the game (In Normal, the

actual strongest weapon in the game is 10x stronger than the 

Maken:"Levaithan"). After you have it save. Go back to where you entered

and this time continue along the path. After a while, you will eventually

meet some Van Shinzoku that are just standing still. These are the 

strongets, but just keep killing them and moving along the path. And 

after you meet the first Van Shinzoku, in the room where you have to jump

over to the right you can find some chests that are hidden by pillars.

Anyways just keep following the path. Eventually you will reach a dead-end

and there will be a flame. Search the Flame and you will the get the 

"Refining Flame". Not what you have to do, is as quick as possible run 

back to the right three rooms. This will probably take a couple tries.

Once you successfully do it, a passage will open up. You will get 120000

Experience for doing that. Now just follow the path all the way along until

eventually you will reach a Save Point. Once you have reached that Save 

Point, I go back and gain some levels. As you probably noticed on your

way over here, Mithril Golems give great experience. So I go back there

and genreally gain up to about 40-45, so I have no problems. Once you have

done that, head back and Save the Game. When you make sure that you have

enough DME head to the right.



   You will now see Sult, who is flanked by two Van Shinzoku. Valkyrie will

wonder if he is the Ringleader, Sult. Valkyrie then says that his time is

up. Sult will stay silent. Valkyrie then goes on to explain that Master

Odin sent her and that she will kill him with her own sword. Sult will

pause for a moment and then say that it looks like they aren't even. 

Valkyrie will ask him what that is supposed to mean. Sult will say that he

thought you have more sense than that. Sult then stands up and you get in

a battle.



  However, before the battle starts Sult will go into a speech about how

since you work for Odin you are a Heretic and so he will destroy you(That

is the general just of what he said). After that he draws his sword and

attacks.

Strategy:Well...This is the final battle, but if you beat Blood Vein you 

         will have no problems with this battle. The first thing you will

         want to do is to take out the Van Shinzoku. I find that just using

         a Celestial Astral/Meteo Swarm works great. After you have done

         that you can just gang up on Sult. Sult can do quite a bit of 

         damage, but he is not as bad as Blood Vein.



   After the battle you will see Frei. She will congratulate you and your

army for defeating the Van Shinzoku. Frei then continues by talking about

how Odin is proud of you and all of Valhalla is happy. Anyways when that

is done the credits will roll. Now you understand why Ending B is the 

bad Ending. 



   Now the next time you play the game make sure to keep your Seal Rating

under 40(this is a Stat that you can only see on Valkyries Status Screen).

And in order to keep it under 40 you will need to not send characters up

every time.

   As soon as you enter, Valkryie will start walking to the left. While

she is walking you will listen to Rucio ask Valkryie to take that Earring

to the Tombstone. Once Valkyrie reachs the Tombstone she will dig for a

while and you will then see the Earring. Valkyrie will wonder what she is

doing here. She will then pull out the Earring. Valkyrie will then comment

on how this is bringing back memories...You will then see some various 

scenes of the Prolouge where Rucio and Platina escape. After that you will

see when Rucio and Valkyrie recreated the experience. And finally after

that you will see Loki taking out Rucio. The scene will switch back to

Odin and Frei. Frei will comment about the Seal Breaking. Odin ask's

if that means her memories are coming back. Frei says that it does. Odin

will ask if she planned for this. Frei replies that a Good Secretary is

always has a plan. The screen will go black and you will then her Frei say

that the Seal is breaking...



   You will now see Valkyrie holding her stomach. She will wonder what these

feelings are. You will then see Arlia(I don't know why the game put her name

in ????, You already know who she is). Anyways Valkyrie will then ask for

Aluze and Meltina to help her. You will now see Arlia surrounded by a 

Black Light(She just absorbed Valkyrie). Now Aluze and Meltina will walk on

the screen. Aluze will ask what that just was now. Meltina will tell Aluze

to hold it, saying that she looks different. Aluze will ask who that is.

????(I might as well play along too...)says that she is Valkryie. But, that

she won't need Aluze and Meltina anymore. Aluze will wonder if this is some

kind of joke. He then asks Arlia if he remembers him. Arlia says that she

does, they both faught the Vampire King Bram. But, after the battle Aluze

switched sides to gain more power. Aluze will ask what she meant by that.

Arlia will say that she doesn't have time to fight you, since she has to

goto Bram and rescure the Third Goddess of Fate; Slymelia, and then defeat

the Van Shinzoku and then go kill the Undead. Aluze will then ask what is

wrong with Valkyrie. Arlia says that since he has asked three times she

will tell him. She explains that she is the Eldest Daughter Arlia, and that

she is the Next Valkyrie. Meltina will ask if Rennas Valkyrie is her real 

name. Arlia will say that it is...and then goes on to explain about how it 

was her Dream to become Valkyrie, and Odin then gave it to her. Both Aluze 

and Meltina will mull this idea over, and both don't think it is possible.

Arlia says that she understands, She then powers up a Blast of Energy and

as she Fire the Real Valkyrie will tell her to stop. The Real Valkyrie

will then protect Aluze and Meltina from the blast. After the Blast you

will see little Blue Orbs floating arround. Arlia will then say that it

looks like Valkyrie is awake. Arlia will then say that it doesn't matter,

she will kill you at a different place, and she then warps out. Meltina 

will look at the Blue Orbs and say that she could have never believed this.

As Meltina walks over, Aluze will ask what those lights are. Meltina will

tell him that it is Valkyrie's Spirit...and that must mean Valkyrie is 

still here. Aluze is confused by this. A Voice will then come out that will

tell Mel that she should freeze it together. Meltina will recognize that 

voice. She then casts a spell that turns all of Valkyrie's spirit into a

little Crystal. The Voice will say that was Very Smart. A Pentagram will

then form and Rezard will come out. Meltina will hide the Crystal and then

asks Rezard what he is doing here. Rezard will say that he just likes to

practice his spells. He then goes on to say that his Teleportation allows

him to be where he wants to be. Rezard will then ask if they wan't to fight

over that body. He then says that he has decided to help Valkyrie and that

he is probably the only guy who can do it. Meltina will get upset at Rezard

but asks if he can do it. Rezard says of course he can. Rezard will now say

that they need to head back to the Labratory. Meltina will agree, but warns

him not to change forms. Rezard will say that he is not interested in that

Body...and he promises. Meltina will ask what a Promise from Rezard is 

worth. Rezard will just shrug...



   The scene will now shift to the Labratory. Meltina will ask what they

need. Rezard will say there, and the camera will shift to the Homosclosus

from before. Meltina will tell him to wait, asking if he is going to 

combine Valkyrie and a Homosclosus. Rezard will say that was what he was

planning to do. Meltina will ask if Rezard still has his ambition of 

becoming a God. Rezard will shrug and say that if they don't believe him

he has some friends who can vouch for him. Then in a cuter moment of this

game Meltina and Aluze will ask what friends Rezard has. After this Rezard

will change the subject and explain that in order for Valkyrie to become

whole again they will need to get her Memories back. The scene will now

go on about how Aluze says that they will probably have to fight to get

Valkyrie back and then Rezard will explain that he will use a "Soul Refining

Spell". Which will combine Valkyries Soul with a Homosclosus. So Meltina

eventually gives up the Crystal and then Rezard cast a spell that combines

the Crystal(Valkyries Spirit) with the Homosclosus. You will then see a

girl that looks like Platina. Now you are in Meltina's Room. Aluze will ask

if this all worked. Rezard will say that it did, and then tells them to

look. You will now see the little Valkyries/Platina get up. Meltina will

wonder if this is what a "Soul Refining Spell" can do. After this Aluze

asks if Valkyrie is OK. Rezard explains that she is only partially fine.

They will need to get the Memories of Valkyrie and then a big change will

take place. Aluze will wonder if they will need to find that Arlia. Meltina

then says that they will defeat her, and that she knows where she is. 

Rezard will says she is probably at the Immortal Vampire;Bram's Castle...



   You will now see Meltina, Aluze and Rezard entering Bram's Throne Room.

The screen will move a little to the left and you will see Arlia leveling

her sword at Bram. She then drops her sword and turns arround. Bram will

say that it was strange when you talked about Fate. He then wonders exactly

who that Woman is. Aluze will say that Valkyrie told him about fate, but

now he is going to change it. Rezard will then speak up and say that he

thinks that Fate can be changed too. Meltina will then talk about taking

down Arlia. Bram will now say that he understands, this isn't the true

Valkyrie. Arlia will start laughing and then asks them what they know.

Meltina now tells Arlia that she will get Valkyries Soul. Arlia then goes

into a little speech bascially asking what difference it would make. Rezard

then says that it looks like they are going to have to defeat Arlia. Your

party will then get into Battle Formation, but Bram will suddenly blaze by

Arlia and join your Party. Bram will say that he understands. She is Arlia

the Eldest Daughter of the Three Goddess of Fate. He then asks her what

power she has. Arlia will be speechless about this. Bram now says that they

will have to settle this in battle. And then that they will make Valkyrie

whole again. Arlia will be upset at this. Bram will now talk to Aluze and

say that he has quite a destiny. Aluze will wonder what this is about. Bram

goes on by saying that it looks like they are combining their strengths to

defeat this woman.

Strategy:This battle is extremely easy. Arlia won't be able to touch both

         Bram and Rezard(But, they are pretty weak right now too). So just 

         all attack when you are ready and you will decimate her.



   After the Battle you will see Meltina condense the Blue Orbs again.

Aluze will now thank Bram for his help. Bram will say that it didn't have

anything to do with it. Aluze will say that he doesn't understand this.

Bram explains that Aluze has all he needs to survive. After this Bram will

say that he looks forward to meeting you again, and then disappears. 

Meltina will say that he was a Weird Guy. Rezard will wonder if he had 

somthing else to do. Meltina thinks that is a possibility. Rezard then

says that you occasinally need a fresh start. Meltina asks him if he has

any sense, and then tells them that they need to get Valkyrie back. Meltina

and Aluze will then start to walk away...



   Back in the Labratory, Rezard will say that it is time to begin. Meltina

will give an Okay and they will both begin to cast a spell. The spell will

cause the "Child Valkyrie" to turn into a Crystal and then combine with

Valkyries Memories. And after the screen flashes a few times you will see

the Original Valkyrie back. She will then clutch her head and fall to the

ground(notice the great job that Touma Yume does in this next part). Aluze

will notice that it is Valkyrie. Meltina now asks if it worked. Rezard

answers that it looks that way. Meltina will now walk over to Valkyrie and

kneel, asking her if she is okay. When Valkyrie doesn't answer Meltina 

worries about her. Rezard is now puzzled, wondering if she still hasen't

changed from her Kid form. You will now have a flashback. You will see

Miria sitting in the forest. Valkyrie will then repeat what she said about

how both the Strong and the Weak have the same heart. Valkyrie will then

who said that. She will then have another about to stay. You will then see

the Rucio death scene, where he tells about how he tells Clair to stay.

After that the scene will switch to the prolouge where you see Platina

die and Rucio saying that he will never forget her. Valkyrie then thinks

of Rucio and wonders if she was wrong to summon him. Valkyrie then tells

him not to die. Valkyrie then realizes that she has a Human Soul, and 

wonders if she is the same. She then goes on to wonder what a War Goddess

is, and then wonders if she is just some dead god. Valkyrie then realizes

that Human and Gods are really the same (Something Rezard realized back in 

Chapter 4...). Now after this you will see the Tour that Rucio gave of

the Village. Valkyrie then realizes what the Earring was about. You will

now see Valkyrie next to Platina. Platina will talk about how this seems

like a Dream. You will now see Valkyrie clutching her head saying that this

can't be. Valkryie then screams and you will be back with Rezard, Meltina

and Aluze. Eventually Valkyrie will wonder what is going on with her. She

will then disappear and Aluze will wonder about her. The scene will shift

back to the Small Meadow. Aluze will yell at Valkyrie to Calm Down. 

Valkyrie will yell that she has to find the Earring from Rucio. She then 

continues to search for it but can't find it. Valkyrie eventually stops 

and wonder why Rucio would die. Valkyrie then wants the cruelity to stop.

The camera will then pan out...



   You will now see Loki with Sult. Sult will wonder what he came to see

him about. Loki says that he has some things that can help the Van 

Shinzoku...since they are so weak. This affends the Guards and they are 

ready to attack. Loki then talks about the Gungnir, Silvan Bow, and the 

Dragon Orb. Loki says that Odin possess Three of the 4 Treasures. Loki

will then goes on to say that even a Idiot would realize that Sult can't

win. Loki goes on to say that he could lend his power to them. He then

pulls out the Dragon Orb. Sult instantly notices what it is. Loki tells

him that it is the Dragon Orb. Loki goes on to say that he has some more

things to help him that he can show Sult. Sult will tell him to do so. 

Loki will give an ok...You will then see a Giant Wolf and Dragon Warp

in. Sult will recognize the Wolf as the Magic Wolf:Fernir, but he says that

the dragon couldn't be... Loki will say that it is, The Last of the

Four Treasures. The Maken:Levaithan turned into a Dragon...The Magic 

Dragon:Blood Vein. Loki will ask what they think, since they have:



   Four Treasure+Four Treasures+Four Enemies+Two Beasts. 



   Sult will say that it is an interesting plan, but is wondering about

the Magic Power that Loki has. Loki will ask if he wants to show him. Sult

will say that he does. Loki will eventually changes into his True Form.



   (Please note that this is an extremely short summery of what goes on.)



   Now the game will go on to explain about all the characters that will

be in this next scene. After that you will eventually see Loki standing

against Odin. Odin then gets his Gungnir. Loki is impressed that he is

using it against him, but since Odin doesn't have the Four Treasures he

has no Power now. Just as they are about to start, Frei warps in and is

about to attack Odin when Odin tells her to stop. Saying that since Loki

has the Dragon Orb it would do no good. Just as Odin and Loki start to

fight you will see Valkyrie standing with Philia. Philia will explain about

how the Dragon Orb has the power to destroy the Human World. Valkyrie then

talks about how it doesn't matter. Philia then says that Valkyrie should

talk to Frei. So the scene will shift to Valkyrie with Frei and the defeated

Odin. Frei and Valkyrie will talk about what this all matters and eventually

Valkyrie will decided that she has to save the Human World. And after this

you will head Earth Guild.



   Well...Here is the Walkthrough for this area...Follow the Path. After

about ten screens you will reach a Save Point. Save your game and prepare

for a very tough battle. When you are ready, head up once more and you

will run into the Magic Dragon:Blood Vein.

Strategy:This is one hard battle. There is no easy way to win it. As you

         can see by its HP you haven't faught anything close to it even

         yet. It's Normal Attack deal about 8000 damage, its Breath attack

         deals 20000 to all. And if that wasn't bad enough once you take

         about 1/4 of its HP away it will start to use a Gravity Gate that

         can do about 90000 damage. Now that you know what you are up 

         against, we can talk strategy. Now, I have fought this battle 

         probably 30-40 times. So what I have found is 3 things. One, make

         sure that the party used has the best weapons(Maken:"Gram", 

         Dinosaur, etc.). Second, use a Reduce Guard on it, to make this

         battle easier. Third, A Phoenix Feather/Angel Cure can really 

         change this battle. Anyways now that is done I used a party of 

         Valkyrie, Rucio, Amy, and Gannos. Once I had used the Reduce 

         Guard, I just use the following order:Nibelgen Velocity, Dragon 

         Dread, Celestial Astral/Meteo Swarm, Round Lip Sabre. You will 

         also probably have to use alot of Union Plums for this battle, 

         so stock up. As I said before, there is no easy way to win this.



   After the battle you can pick up the Maken:Levathan. Once you have this

keep heading along the path. After about 5-6 more screens you will arrive

at another Save Point. Save your Game(and equip Freeze Checks on a couple

of Characters). After you do that head up and run into the Magic Wolf:

Fernir.

Strategy:This battle can be very easy...if you have the Old Latern or

    Freeze Checks. Otherwise the last half of this battle will be nearly

    impossible. But, The first half of this battle is very easy. However,

    once you have taken away 3/4 of its HP it will start using Howling

    Moon. It's will basically freeze your entire party. And the problem is

    that it will keep using it until you die. So just be prepared and you

    will win(Fernir is far weaker than Blood Vein). Or of course you can

    use use the Gurenken:Infernous...



   After you win, just keep heading up until you reach another Save

Point. Now Make sure that you characters are healthy and when you are

ready, head up. You will see Loki with his back to you. Valkyrie will

level her sword at him and shout out his name. Loki will turn arround and

ask Valkyrie how when he was able to defeat Odin, she could defeat him.

Loki will then make a comment about how you were just used by Odin.

This gets Valkyrie angry and Loki continues by saying that Humans can't

do anything to him. Loki eventually says that he will fight with you...but

this is a little below him. As you enter the battle Valkryie and Loki will

talk for a bit. Loki will ask Valkyrie why she fights and Valkyrie says

that it is for her Soul.

Strategy:You will quickly find that unless you Party is Level 99 or you 

   just have Mages that you can't do much damage to him. So basically all

   you have to do is survive for about 3-4 rounds. However, you will need

   to watch out for Extension Force, as it will probably kill your weaker

   characters outright.



   You will be back to the Ledge where Loki will make comment about how the

Maken:Leviathan is just your Average Weapon. Valkyrie will wonder what he

meant by that. Loki will then go on to say that you and your Humans have

fought with all their strenght and accomplished nothing. And that even

Frei and Odin weren't able to touch him, so why should you. He then goes

on to say your Bravery will get you killed. Loki then talks about how 

he is Life. Eventually the screen will crackle and Valkyrie will say

that it can't be. You will now see a Well Done FMV of the Dragon Orb slowly

sucking the Life from everything and destroying it. You will now see 

Valkyrie standing in a "Force Field". Loki will be laughing and saying that

you must have and increbible power to survive, but that you will die 

like the rest of your Underlings. You will now see Valkyrie sitting very 

solemly. Loki will ask Valkyrie what she is going to do. Valkyrie says that

she has found the answer. Loki asks what that means. Valkyrie will explain 

that the world still exists, she can hear all of the voices. Loki is 

confused at this as Valkyrie goes on to explain that she can now sense all 

of the suffering in this world. A Light will the surround Valkyrie as she 

floats up into the Air. Loki makes a comment about the power she has. 



   You will now be in a Flashback. You will see Rezard explain to Meltina

that Odin is a Weak God. Eventually explain that he is Half-Elf. And then

you hear Rezard's plan to transfer himself to a Homosclosus. You will then

see Rezard and Meltina combine the Homosclosus with Valkryie(Let me explain

this another way...by "Re-Making Valkryie" they were able to make her

stronger). Now Valkyrie will be standing and she will understand where she

got this power. Valkyrie then hops up into the Air and Flaps her wings.

You will then see another FMV of the Feathers redoing the damage that the

Dragon Orb caused. It is very well done. You will now be back and Loki

wonders if this is your True Power, saying that it can't be. Valkyrie then

says that she will need all of her Heart. You will then hear Rucio shout

encourgement to Platina. Valkyrie then says that she has it. Valkyrie will

then cause a Sword to appear(The Shinken:Glance Reviver) and then the rest

of your party will reappear as well. Loki will now make a comment about

how even though you have a lot of power, you will still die. Valkyrie will

then explain that she hasn't used all of her power. You will then get in

battle again...

Strategy:With the Shinken:Glance Reviver you will be able to do a ton of

   damage to Loki. Plus it allows you to use your Full Nibelgen Velocity.

   However, Loki will start using some more powerful attacks this time

   arround too. However, This battle is almost too easy. Because Valkyrie

   will be able to take away 1/2 of his HP every time she uses her Clincher.

   So just make sure that you have some Angel Cures equipped and you will

   be fine(or Auto Item is always good too). 



   After the battle enjoy the short(Very Short)FMV Ending. And you have now

finshed Valkyrie Profile.
