From Playstation Gamer --- Cloud Found In Final Fantasy Tactics Yes, it's possible to recruit the main character of Final Fantasy VII, Cloud, in Final Fantasy Tactics! As far as I can recall, this is the first time a main character from a FF game is used in another FF game. Being the main character of FFVII, Cloud is one powerful ally. I haven't got all the details about how to get him, but here's what I know: In chapter 4, in the Machinery City, you will find a ancient robot, which you can't activate to begin with. Go to the Royal Capital and enter the bar there. Besides from getting info about the Saint Dragon, a hunter will also request to join your team. Recruit him, next go to the Mining City. Help the Saint Dragon there, you will also get the Aquarius Zodiac Stone. Head back to the Machinery City, use the Zodiac Stone on the ancient robot. It will become functional again, and it's called Worker #8. Once you leave the city, another ancient machine will be found in the Machinery City, but you won't be able to operate this one to begin with either. Leave and head for the Nerubes Temple. After beating Worker #7, the Saint Dragon will transform into a young girl, and you will receive the Cancer Zodiac Stone. Go back to the Machinery City again. Use the Cancer Zodiac Stone to activate the ancient machine. It turns out to be a time machine of some sort. It will bring Cloud from the future to the world of Final Fantasy Tactics. But you are not done yet. What you need to do now is to search for Aerith!! She is here in FF Tactics as well, but I don't think you can recruit her. Like in FFVII, she will sell Cloud some flowers. I am not sure where she is, but visit the various cities around to find her. Anyway, Aerith will get attacked by a gang of thugs, Cloud will try to defend her, but he gets a painful headache (guess he hasn't found his real self in FFVII yet). Fortunately, Ramus & Co. arrived just in time to save the day. After rescuing Cloud, he will officially join you. Cloud's special ability is the Limit attacks from FFVII. But before he can use them, you need to find the Materia Blade. It is located at the top of the volcano. To find it, you will need someone with the job "Item user" with the item searching ability. Once the blade is found, and Cloud has equipped it, there will be 8 limit attacks in all. The 7 attacks from FFVII are there, including Chokyuubujinhazan, and an 8th attack with seems to be even more powerful than the aforementioned. That's all I know, so please don't email me with any questions regarding this issue. Good luck! - Joe Chan, wchan@sn.no ---
