Your brain paths are forked like winter lightning.
Infernal boy, the heavy luminescence
and webs of light that spin from every pore
enclose your mind and close your eyes.
Years ago (the years slipped by like silk)
We sipped together from the river of stars
That spilled across the sky. Do you recall?

A promise, a wish, a kiss we shared.
I kicked my legs against the granite rock.
You sat and watched me. Do you recall?
