Locke Cole Special Ability: Steal/Capture - The Steal skill attempts to steal items from an enemy - With the Thief's Glove relic the skill changes to Capture, which attempts to steal while attacking the enemy with Locke's weapon Limit Break: Mirager ----------------------------------------------------- 3. Cyan Garamonde Special Ability: Sword Technique - Cyan learns new Sword Techniques as he levels up - Cyan must charge the ability to the level he wants before he's able to use it during which time the battle continues in ATB (so he can be taking damage while charging) - Cyan can learn all his Sword Techniques at once by completing the Cyan's Soul Side Quest - Cyan can only use his Sword Techniques if he's equipped with a SwdTech sword - Here's the list of Sword Techniques by level and their affects - Note the level refered to here is the SwdTech level, not the level he learns it at Level Technique Affect ------------------------------ 1 Dispatch Attacks one enemy (can be done immediately without charging) 2 Retort Sets Cyan up to counter attack the next physical attack 3 Slash Cuts the enemy's HP in half 4 Quadra Slam Attacks 4 times against random enemies 5 Empowerer Drains HP and MP from one enemy 6 Stunner Casts Stop on all enemies 7 Quadra Slice Attacks 4 times against random enemies 8 Cleave Kills all enemies Limit Break: Black Blade ----------------------------------------------------- 6. Relm Arrowny Special Ability: Sketch/Control - Relm's Sketch ability allows her to draw a picture of a monster and then use one of that monster's powers - With the Fake Moustache Relic, Sketch becomes Control - Control allows Relm to take over one enemy in an affect similar to Muddle (but controllable) - While using Control, Relm's command list switches to the enemy's command list - Control is broken if the enemy is hit or killed (or if Relm dies of course) - The list of Sketch and Control attacks are listed in the Beastiary in the interest of space Limit Break: Star Prism ----------------------------------------------------- 12. Gogo Special Ability: Mimic - Gogo's Mimic ability lets him use the last command that was executed in battle for free - Gogo's command list can also be editted, you can add or delete any command you like from it except for Mimic - To add a command go to Gogo's status screen and select a slot, then press X (A on SNES), to get a list of available commands (the list will contain the special commands of all members of your party anywhere (including ones currently on the airship) as well as Magic, Fight, and Item - When Gogo has the Magic command, his magic list will contain all the spells everyone in your current team knows - The same restrictions apply to Gogo as to Cyan and Celes for use of their special abilities As in, Gogo must be equipped with a SwdTech or Runic sword in order to use those commands - Gogo can't use the Morph command - You must first find Gogo inside the Zone Eater after the world changes before he'll join you Limit Break: X-Meteor ----------------------------------------------------- 13. Umaro Special Ability: Berserk State - Umaro is constantly in a Berserk State and cannot be controlled - His attacks are extremely powerful and you can equip him with weapons, armor, and relics, but beyond that he can't be manipulated - You must talk to Umaro with Mog in your party after beating him in Narshe's Mines after the world changes - Two Relics are for his exclusive use, they are: Relic Name Affect ------------------------ Rage Ring Enables Umaro to throw a party member at the enemy for massive damage Blizzard Orb Enables Umaro to use an ice attack against all enemies Limit Break: None ----------------------------------------------------- 14. Banon Special Ability: Health - Banon joins you temporarily after your escape from the Returner's Hideout - The Health skill is a free heal for all your party members in battle Limit Break: None ----------------------------------------------------- 15. Ghost Special Ability: Possess - On the Phantom Train you can enlist the help of Ghosts to fill out the remaining slots in your party, they leave before you do battle with the Phantom Train Boss - The Possess ability destroys one enemy but eliminates the Ghost - The Ghost is totally eliminated and can't even be brought back after battle but you can always find another one - The Ghost itself is pretty weak physically, but it does provide an extra target to some of the attacks on the Phantom Train - The Ghost is equipped with a Relic Ring (No you can't take it :P) making it an undead party member, so any healing items or spells used on it will injure it instead of help it - You CAN heal the Ghost with tonics and potions AFTER battle without causing damage Limit Break: None ----------------------------------------------------- II.
