This is another one of those drawings I grew to dislike more after I finished it. The eyes and mouth are big problem areas (his eyes being too girlish and far apart, his mouth lacking much of an upper lip). However, I am glad with how most of the CGing came out, especially on his sword, and his hat. And I do like the composition, despite the fact that I made Link a righty.

When Twighlight Princess was first announced, I was really eager to do some fan art for it but there wasn't enough reference material out there, so instead I went right back to the original game and came up with this humourous sketch. Aquamentus is probably my favourite boss from the original game.

I suppose technically it isn't a mini-skirt that he wears, but rather a tunic. But, you know: tomAYto, tomAHto. =P This was an early warm-up sketch one morning that went through the Photoshop treatment for the practice, as I was just coming out of a four month Photoshop abstinence.

A "method" picture. This is my process - from the original pencilled sketch, the finished and inked artwork, and then finally the completed and Photoshop colored illustration. There are a few pieces that you'd squeeze inbetween here and there, but otherwise you can break down how I create a picture into three steps. It's always fun to take a look into the behind-the-curtain methods of an artist - method pictures are some of my favorites to look at.

This was originally a birthday present for a friend where I didn't know which Link to draw or how and it quickly became the biggest Zelda art project I've EVER done! The picture flows downward through the different epochs in roughly release order since I couldn't do a straight timeline picture as I've yet to finish either Minish Cap OR Four Swords so I'm still uncertain as to their place in the greater storyline.
