The end of Daylight Savings Time always seems to come as a shock to me. It seems one day I have plenty of time for outside
chores after I get home from work, and the next day it is dark before I get home. With the darkness seem to come a myriad of
other problems to stifle any goals I might have. This time of year also makes it easy to see how so many superstitions and fears
arise with the darkness and led to many of the mythic and fantasy creatures we have come to love (to kill) in fantasy role-playing.
This time around we have reviews of Manual of the Planes and Dungeon Delve, both for the 4th Edition Dungeons
& Dragons game. Dungeon Delve is a really interesting product, basically a set of three encounters for each
of the thirty character levels.
The hot release this month is the Dragon Age Pen and Paper RPG developed by Green Ronin Publishing. I am really looking
forward to getting my hands on this title (as well as the PC version of Dragon Age: Origins).
Shameless Non-gaming Plug of the Column - My family spent three days at one of the Great Wolf Lodge Indoor Waterpark Resorts.
It was far more fun than I antcipated and I would recommend it for anyone with children looking for a place to spend a few days.
Just beware of Christmas, as I hear that is the only time of the year they are really busy.

We are always looking for new players and Game Masters or people who just want to talk about their favorite pen and paper or
tabletop games!
