Welcome to another week of the Saving Throw and the beginning of the second hall of fame contest. I have provided the first entry for this week based on an adventure in the roleplaying realm I've been creating for some time. Be sure to make your guesses before Monday night to start accumulating points as early as possible. Also, please send in your own entries for even more points.
Also, the Master of the Lands prestige class added last week had an error that has been corrected. The class was never meant to have feat prerequisites; I was using another one as a template and forgot to remove that line. I apologize for the error.
Otherwise, it's a light week with a small number of releases and a few short news stories, and as such, it's time for the column.
Due to popular demand during the summer conventions, White Wolf Publishing has announced it is planning to release a version of Mage: The Awakening for live-action roleplaying in the summer of 2007, expanding their Mind's Eye Theatre line. Eddy Webb, an experienced veteran of the roleplaying industry, has been selected to adapt the game to live-action. White Wolf will be releasing more information in their e-quarterly magazine as the summer release date progresses.
Goodman Games has started a subscription service for its popular Dungeon Crawl Classics line of d20 System adventures. Subscribers will get a module each month for the retail price plus ten percent for shipping. The signup form (PDF) can be found here.
