[02/14/02]: Points of View's success is beyond what I ever could have foreseen "my little section" doing. I love the writers, and I love the readers. However, there comes to a point where currently I look at the review sitting all neat and pretty in my holder file, and just get this *bleh* feeling. No, I'm not quitting. I'd never quit. I'd have to be fired to roust me out of RPGamer and PsoV ;D.
But I am taking a break from PsoV. I've run the section for nearly two years and only had one vacation. I need some time off. I have no job currently, for example, and it's causing me a lot of stress and eating up a decent chunk of my time. I'm also trying to straighten out the Media department after having 3 months of minor ups and downs. I moved three times last year. I need some ME time ;)
Please, don't dismay, don't despair. PsoV will go on, even though I won't be here during my break. In fact, I've scored a week of Q&A down the road, and I still have media, so I won't be dropping out of sight (site?) entirely.
When will I be back? Well..good question. When I feel relaxed and unstressed. When I look forward to reading a reader review again, rather than it becoming something of a chore. Whether that's one update or one year, I will be back. And I'll be hovering protectively all the while anyways. Come now, PsoV is my baby ;)
ASV: Well, now that you've heard it straight from the kitty's mouth, there's not much for me to add. Just that you can expect Paul 'Amish' Koehler to be joining me for awhile in place of Miss Paws, and that you all have a happy St. Valentine's Day!

More About Locked Games
Just so everyone knows... The thing we look for before locking a game is how close it is to having 10 reader reviews. Any game that's approaching that bench mark, that you're planning to review, you have your attentions fast, or else you, too, might have to wait to send in your reviews.
