[12/26/01]: Well, as the big holidays loom in recent memory, it seems people are taking the necessary time to both spend with family and write reviews. After all, that's what the season is about, right? ;) Okay, okay, just kidding. But I am glad people are taking time from busy shopping and exam schedules and dropping little gifts off in my email. Makes my job all that easier, no?
Some thoughts to ponder. We've finally seen the release of the final two "next gen" systems, and as RPGs begin to literally blast out for the PS2, the NGC and Xbox may have some catching up to do. Now, take into consideration price: at least where I am, a PS2 still sits at 450$ before tax, and with a Microplay bundle is 615$ before tax. On the other hand, you can purchase a NGC bundle for 501$ with 14% tax added on. Hmm...
Today, as I was doing up this update, I realized something really funny. Remember Waaaaaaaaaaaay back when I posted my first update with reader reviews? Well...this review in particular caught my interest, once I looked at the email. After all...I hired him without ever realizing he's written for me before. Kinda cool how I ended up hiring the first person to have a review accepted and posted.
Now that we're done nostalgia tripping, onto the reviews.
ASV: Not much from me today. I'd just like to request that authors look through the archives to make sure that all their reviews are easily accessible. I've fixed a lot of the major problems (e.g. games with 5+ reviews), but there's always more going south, it seems. If you find something wrong, feel free to email me and let me know what's missing.

Don't be afraid to ask questions
I'm never sure why, when an author writes me to ask something, they act like they're doing something naughty, or apologizing for asking. Seriously, it's not a bother at all, so feel free to ask. I don't bite, and I'd rather you ask than being undecided, and end up making a mistake ;) Saves everyone time just asking.

TBODY tags.
If there's one tag ever to really, really annoy me, it's gotta be this one. Unfortunately, many editors AUTOMATICALLY add them; worse is when people add them, because they're usually put in the wrong spot. Please, don't use them and if you find they're in your review, run a find/replace for both tbody and /tbody tags, and remove them. Thanks!
