[12/03/01]: Well, if any of you are like me, you've postponed your shopping extravaganza until the last possible moment. Unfortunately, that means that I have to treat myself to some sort of self-gift for having to put up with the crowds. Still not sure what that's gonna be yet (uh... duh... as if it could be anything but SSB:M!), but I'll undoubtedly find something. But, on to PsoV goodliness. We've got quite a few reviews of newer titles this week. Maybe they'll help you decide what you want for yourself, this holiday season. Until next week, farewell, and write us some reviews!
Paws: Is it December already? Boy, have I got work to do. Trim...er, no, wait, no tree. Need to buy one. Make Holiday coo...er, no, wait, no flour. Need to buy that. A container to put it in too.
Needless to say, I think this holiday will be sparse. That's okay by me, Christmas isn't something I actually celebrate (nor is Hanukkah, if you're wondering, but it is a very fun celebration). But my mother's really into the whole spiritualism of the season, which I can honor, so in deference, Gift Giving, Holiday Mealing, and Tidings of Comfort and Joy usually do occur at my parents' house. But this is a first: my first December completely away from my parents. Even when I moved out when I was younger, I was still in the same city. But since I'm working both the 23rd and the 26th, and a bus ride home is 30 hours, that precedes a visit. Ah, well, new experiences, right?
Erm, yes, reviews. Got distracted by the holiday decor on index I guess. We have a large batch this week, all by white writers. New talent! All right!

Reviews In Text
I know I mentioned this in the last update, but, I thought I'd again reiterate that it's extremely helpful to us if you actually select screenshots and quotes before you send in your review. It'll make sure you get the ones you want, as well as make the HTMLizing process easier on us.
Parts Equaling the Whole
Two booboos - Fear. Yes, for those still confused: the OVERALL IS NOT A SUM OR AVERAGE OR MEDIAN of the other scores. It is a standalone score. Why do we do this? Because, of all the aspects we cover, we do not cover anything but the technical aspects of the game. The overall is also meant to include such abstract ideals as "how fun the game is" and whether the whole is greater than its parts. Hope that clears that up.
