  HTML Template Tutorial

The first thing you'll need to do is download and open the template file. Once you've done that, you'll need to modify it using a plain text editor such as Notepad or Editpad. Do not use programs such as Word or HTML editors (unless you're editing the HTML by hand with them). These will cause more problems than they're worth in most cases. Next, open up this file which should look almost exactly like the template, aside from the 29 things you need to fill in being marked in red, and follow the steps below.

  1. Review --- If the game is over a year old, replace this with Retroview. You'll also want to add the word "Reader" in front of the word "Review" if you're a reader and "Staff" if you're RPGamer staff.
  2. Name of Game --- Replace this with the name of the game you're reviewing.
  3. Name of Game --- Replace this with the name of the game you're reviewing.

  5. Title of Review --- This is where you place your review's title.
  6. mailto:you@yourmailserver.com --- Fill this in with your email address. If you're staff, replace this with a link to your bio.
