Atlus announced that its puzzle adventure title Catherine will be released for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in Japan. The enhanced port is titled Catherine: Full Body (named after the wine term), and is being created by Atlus' new Studio Zero, which is headed by Catherine director Katsura Hashino.
Catherine was originally released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2011 and follows a man named Vincent, who cheats on his fiancee Katherine with a woman named Catherine. This decision results in Vincent being plagued by nightmares, which he must survive by advancing up a tower by moving its blocks.
The new version will add another woman named Rin, who is the pianist at Vincent's usual bar, and has a different personality to either of the other two characters. It will also add new events, endings, difficulty settings, and mechanics. More details are expected to be revealed in a presentation from Studio Zero on December 22, 2017.
